Chapters 11. Someone Unexpected

Dodi Kurniawan did not in vain sell his son to Helma Sadewa. Remember, the lung transplant surgery that was intended for his wife, was successful and Isma Yani could survive.

Isma's condition improved, although she was still not allowed to go home. Isma was able to open her eyes, and was able to speak, although her voice was still so slow and hoarse.

Dodi Kurniawan always faithfully waited for his wife, and remained by her side. He rarely went home, and only occasionally came to clean his house.

"Hello, Ma'am, Lingga is home from school" said Lingga, Livia's sister, as soon as she reached Isma's ward.

"H-hello, Lingga, I am so grateful, I can still look at you, smile at you, and welcome you home like this. I thought I was going to die, and never be with you again" Isma said weakly.

"Mother, don't talk like that. Grateful because Mother can still be given health and can return to health. Mom must be healthy, Mom is now in recovery. Hopefully we can go home soon. I must have missed home," Dodi looked so happy.

"Yes, Mom. I have to stay excited. Linga sure, I can be healthy again. There's nothing more we need to worry about, I'm just going to recover,"

Isma Yani does not know if she is getting a lung transplant, the money obtained from the sale of Livia. What Isma knows, Livia is working and is now out of town.

"Dad .." said Isma suddenly.

"Yes, Mom? Wh why? Mommy wants to eat? Eat what? Let me buy it," said Dodi sprightly.

Isma shook her head, she looked so sad because of this situation. Not the food, not the drink he wanted. Except ….

"Mom wants to see Livia, Dad. Can't he go home yet? Mom misses him, Dad," Isma said as she shed her tears.

Isma Tahunya Livia is working out of town. In fact, since Isma entered the ICU room and was unconscious, Livia has decided to leave and wait for her mother.

Isma doesn't know if she can get back to health because of all Livia's sacrifices. But Dodi was reluctant to tell Isma, because Dodi was afraid, if Isma would be angry and not accept, his eldest son was sold and married to the same man while not loving him.

"Livia's still working, Mom. Patience, yes. Later Dad asked him to come home, because now Mom is aware," replied Dodi smiling.

Dodi is unlikely to say his honesty in the midst of his wife's situation that has just improved. Dodi will definitely tell, but later, after Isma comes home and his condition has improved.

"Alright, then, I want to call her, Dad. Can I call Livia? I haven't heard her voice in a long time, I want to hear her voice" Isma said expectantly. 

Again Dodi fell silent. How could I possibly call Livia under these circumstances? Dodi doesn't know what Livia is doing and how. In fact, after the wedding happened, Livia had never called Dodi.

"Mother, Livia's cell phone's broken. Last time he told us, if he hasn't had the money to buy a new phone. Patient mother, yes. Livia's fine, really. Importantly, now you have to take care of your health, so you recover quickly and can go home soon,"

Isma Yani let out a long breath. He was really sad, not being able to meet the person he missed so much at the moment. Unfortunately, Livia is so far from his sight, even though Livia is his favorite child.

When Lingga was outside the hospital yard, suddenly there was a man who pulled his arm. 

"Where is Livia? Tell me, where's he moving to now?"

Deg. Lingga was shocked, why suddenly there was a man looking for his brother.

"Sister Livia went wandering!"

"lik! I'm a coworker from out of town! And he stopped!"

Deg. No one should know of Livia's current whereabouts, no way. Lingga is confused, could this man be a man who had one job with Livia?

"Sister Livia's gone, no, she's working away,"

"I am his lover! Don't hide anything from me anymore!" the man's words really made Lingga shocked not play.

"So, Livia actually has a lover?" inner Linga, between believing and unbelieving.
