"Huh ...." Noura felt a chill all over her face, even the water was about to enter her nose.
Ian was dumbfounded. "What did you do to my wife!!" ian shouted furiously.
The people who were eating inside the restaurant looked towards the back door and not only that, Noura and Vika were also surprised to see the presence of the man there.
"Eh, Ian .. ka-you ...." Vika looks worried.
"Just ...?"
The man immediately grabbed his wife's hand and took her to the parking lot leaving Vika alone there. He took Noura to the car.
"Bang .. uh, Bang ...." Noura was terrified.
The man opened the door for his wife and helped close it after the woman entered. Then he entered on the other side. Without saying anything he immediately ran the car.
"Bang .. uh, Bang. Don't tell me Mom yes, Bang," Noura asked in a soft voice. "Dude." The woman looks worried. He touched the man's arm slowly.
Ian had to stop his car on the side of the road. The man was confused as to why Noura was still defending his twin brother when clearly the woman had bullied him without caring about the defense he had been given. He also felt guilty because all this time he had been wrong about his wife.
Hasn't he been looking for a wife who could love him for who he is, without thinking about his own origin? Did God not give it to him, why was he blind, why?
"Noura, why are you different from Vika?"
"What?"
Stupid me. Why don't I see the real diamond in front of me while I'm still chiding the fake diamond I got before? They are twins .. but not the same. I should have known that. Their nature alone is different, Vika is free and Noura is culturally bound. From the beginning they were different, why didn't I see them? Hah .. My anger at Vika has blinded me. I owe you a lot, my wife.
Ian's tongue is murky. He did not know where to start while Noura waited while looking at him.
"Bang ...," said Noura again. "Don't tell me Mom yeah, Bang, pity Vika."
After what Vika did to him she still defended him? Noura ... After what I did, are you so to me? Ian stared at those two soft eyeballs that were staring at him. Covered that face with both hands. His face was cold and still wet.
"Bang ...."
"Noura, will you please listen to me?"
"Yes?"
Ah, goddamn. I wanted to cry to remember my sins. "Eh, you know what. You just follow my orders." The man held the steering wheel again. He blamed the engine of his car.
"Where are we going, Bang?"
The man no longer spoke. He is now focused on driving. A confused Noura is forced to let her husband drive without saying much until they come to a mall.
"We're going to this mall?"
"Mk."
"For what?"
"To change your wet hijab. We can't go home, can we? You want your mom to know, you just got doused by Vika?"
"Eh, no." The woman nodded quickly.
"Well, just listen to my orders."
The woman nodded. In Mal, Ian found Noura a new hijab along with new clothes, because her clothes were also wet. The man chose clothes that were appropriate for his wife.
"Here you go." Ian thrust a feminine-looking woman's shirt at Noura.
"Don't be in this shop, Bang, expensive" whispered Noura in her husband's ear making the man almost laugh.
Ian took his wife's hand. "But you deserve this. Try, wear. As for the price, let me pay it."
"But, Bang, it's too fancy to go to the office." The woman set herself in front of the mirror by putting her husband's clothes in front of her body.
"You're my wife. Come on, change it up. Later you catch a cold with such wet clothes."
"Mk." Ian propped up his chin with his hands.
"Less good, Bang?"
"So your size is S huh?"
"What?" Noura was surprised by the different answer from her guess.
"Here, I've picked some. You just replace those trousers with new ones. Here, put it on." Ian thrust out a slightly loose material trouser at the hip. A saleswoman stood next to her husband with a few pieces of clothing.
"But the pants aren't wet."
"It doesn't match the color of your shirt. Come on, change it."
Finally, Noura obeyed her husband moving to and fro and tried this in different places. Ian even bought him some shoes.
"For what?"
"Yes, for various purposes such as going to a party for example."
"But, Bang, I'm going to the office. Look, you've had a lot of groceries and piled them on the floor." Noura pointed to her husband's shopping bag piled on the floor, and she no longer knew how to carry it.
"Oh, don't worry, one of the security guards at home I've sent here to pick up groceries. He's coming soon."
Justright. Before long, one of the security guards at home came and took the piled up shopping bag, and not once but many times because Ian kept taking his wife shopping.
"Had Bang. This is where we haven't had lunch. I don't know if Brother has, but I haven't" Noura protested.
"Eh, yes. I haven't." either." The man smiled. "I see your face is still a mess. How about going to the salon?"
"I'm hungry, Bang," protested Noura pursed her mouth while holding her stomach.
"Eh, yes. Yes it is."
They chose an Italian restaurant and ate there. Noura ordered pizza so she could eat it fast.
"Yes, Bang, buy it. I don't want to owe anyone else a favor."
Ian was surprised to hear that. "But I bought it for you, Noura."
"No need because I don't need any of this. I just need a change of clothes, not this much shopping. We're going to live alone so I don't want to trouble you anymore."
Ian was shocked, but Noura was also the result of his own actions. "Noura, I bought all this with a sincere heart for you."
Noura is still chewing on her pizza. "thank you. You've been trying to hide Vika's fault, and thank you, but I'm still confused about our marriage. I think ...."
Ian cut it off immediately. "Noura, I promise, I'll be a good husband to you. Ak—"
"Bang, I'm tired" the woman interrupted. He seems to be starting to give up. "You always promise but never keep it, I'm tired ... I-I'm better alone than ...."
"We don't have to talk about heavy things first, right? Uh, you're going to the office," let the guy change the course of the story.
"Eh, yeah." Noura hurriedly chewed.
"Don't hurry later you choke, Noura." The man reminded. Ian has a lot of regrets. His wife, who has only been married for a few days, is still thinking about divorce. He has a lot of homework if he wants to get his heart back.
After eating, Ian took his wife somewhere.
"Bang, I'm going to the office!"
"We'll be here for a minute."
They entered the glasses shop.
"Bang, my glasses are still good. I can still see" the woman protested.
"How about contact lenses?"
