After eating one piece of cake, I covered it with something so as not to be shrouded in ants and walked out of the palace kitchen. The whole room was dark because it was night. I walked down the hallway to the right side of the palace and finally found the basement of the small door located between the stairs.

I entered it with a feeling of alertness and caution. Stepping on the rocks that looked wet by something, I continued my steps following the light from the torch that was in the corner of this basement hallway.

Only the sound of my footsteps echoed around this dark passageway. At the end of the hall where the torch was, there was a small door that had an iron key but opened slightly.

I pushed it slowly, but it made a huge sound of a row of doors. I flicked my shoulders uncaring and entered the room. It seemed like the person inside the room stopped his movements and turned his head towards me.

The one who looks at me is none other than Valeria. He wore a long black robe that covered his entire body except his face while holding a dagger in his hand.

I squinted my eyes at Valeria who was already grinning at me.
