Shirley devoured the first mouthful of her fried rice while waiting for her call to be lifted.
"Hm, Nans Bu fried rice is the best!" The excitement rattled on its own and rushed following the second, third, and so on.
"Miss Shirley? Can I help you?"
"Oh!" Shirley immediately finished the food in her mouth, then grabbed a glass of water that she had placed nearby.
"Check, uhuk!"
"Are you okay, miss?"
The voice on his phone was heard again. This time it was filled with worry.
"Good, fine. Not problem. But doctor sir, I need something."
"Tell me, miss."
"Can you prepare me for contact lenses? The details are minimal I'll send you by email."
"That's all?"
"I guess."
"That's easy."
"All right, doc, thank you. I'll ask Elly's sister to take it. When will you be ready?"
"Not long. I'll give you the word when it's over."
"Thanks." -."
"Don't thank me, miss. It's my duty."
Calls closed. Shirley immediately put down her phone and continued eating her seductive fried rice.
he was really happy today. His mood had deteriorated because Vino called his girlfriend in the middle of their breakfast. But because that's precisely the connection with Vino to be closer, right?
Shirley giggled herself amusedly in response to her thoughts. Since when did he become so hyperbolic like this? I don't know.
In addition, today would be perfect if the shooting of Vino is really given permission by their clients. That way, he can draw Vino closer to getting into his world.
he actually loves his job. Only sometimes he felt tormented by the demands and restraints of his father. With Vino in the same world as him, he felt he would be able to give himself back completely to his work. He was excited just thinking about it.
'Derrrt.'
The message from Elly was opened. His pupils widened as well as his smile.
"Sir Bil accepts your wish. But remember, that doesn't mean Vino's photo will be used by him."
Yeah, that's enough. He just had to get Vino to the surface. The hunters will find it sooner or later. Skills can be trained, but face and body are natural talents. And Vino has it.
'Derrrt.'
"Hm?"
One more message from Elly. Voice mail?
"Don't be too happy to forget yourself. Anyway, it's high risk. You'll get hurt again."
Shirley stared at the horror of her hape after dropping it on the floor of Nans's bu carpet.
Male voice.
How can a man use Elly's cell phone? Elly is not the one who will just share her privacy, especially for men. A feeling of worry began to cloud Shirley's mind.
But something else prompted him to play the message once again. Yeah, more than her worry, there's something else. This man's voice was disturbing him. Is he feeling a feeling. Familiar?
****
"Hey! Give me my phone!"
Elly shouted while trying to reach her phone which ended in Lam's hand. This man snatched it from his hand just like that after he sent a short message to Shirley.
And even more unexpected to her, this man sent a voice message containing a warning to Shirley!
This is not really a good thing. The girl was fragile. she needed a softer word so as not to disturb her trauma
going to the past.
"Give me back!"
Damn this guy is too tall.
This man only needed to lift his phone straight up, without him needing to tiptoe even Elly could not reach it. Surely he was holding himself back from jumping like a fool. Plus the annoying grin Lam pinned for him made him annoyed instead of a bitch.
Elly sighed, choosing to calm herself down. He sat down, and looked at Lam.
"Aren't you getting too involved? Who are you to give such a warning to him?"
Lam's witty look that mocked her earlier turned sharp and piercing.
"You really know how to provoke my emotions, don't you?"
"You said you didn't like it. But you're worrying too much about him."
"That's because you didn't warn him of the risk. We just don't want him to get hurt. I'm his fan and you're his manager. So do thousands of other fans."
"I knew he wouldn't forget that risk. It never will. Your actions that took my phone and sent voice messages to a girl who doesn't even know your name aren't rational."
Lam's gaze was getting sharp. Cold until it felt like it was piercing his bones. His black eyes sucked up most of the oxygen that was there until Elly almost felt tightness in her chest.
'Tin!'
Elly followed Lam who came out first from the elevator. The man looked even more terrifying when he was silent. Are my words too harsh? inner Elly. I don't know why he thought about it. Thinking about it until not realizing Lam stopped her steps. His nose successfully hit Lam's sturdy back and the man's musk scent filled his sense of smell faster than his backward movements.
"Hey, don't stop arriving!"
The grunt was more directed at himself who felt the urge to inhale the scent for longer.
Elly does not like to use perfume, but there is one perfume that she sometimes uses to attend official events. Elly never changed her perfume because for her the scent was the best.
But the scent of this damned man in front of her made her tempted to inquire about the perfume she was wearing. Of course, he restrained himself from doing that ridiculous act.
Elly gasped in surprise when Lam suddenly turned around and handed her phone back to her. His gaze had become more calm and restrained as usual.
"My message was erased. Tell Miss Shirley that I'm sorry. Not that I meant to interfere."
Elly received her phone half in disbelief. The amazement at seeing the message was completely erased.
Hurry up he writes a new message for Shirley.
"I'm sorry for the message that it bothers you, Shirley. That man in the BM who kept your visit to Vino's cabin a secret, remember? he's just worried your dad will find out. I told him because he needed a little help. You just calm down. Trust me as you always do. Everything's gonna be okay ."
'Send.'
Elly put her phone in her pocket after making sure the message was delivered.
"OKAY. So, have we arrived yet? Where's room?"
"Follow me." Lam turned around and continued her steps which were lined up by Elly.
"Hey, staff sir."
"Hm."
"Don't you know about Shirley too much?"
"It's none of your business."
"Of course it's my business. If it turns out you're a stalker or something, I'll report you before my artist's safety is threatened."
Lam grunted softly before stopping her steps in front of a large brown door with the inscription 'Ando Wallen' sculpted in front of her.
"We've arrived, and I'm not a stalker."
Ignoring Elly's probing gaze that was still on her, Lam knocked on the door twice, then said loudly, saying,
"Sir. It's me, Lam. I'm with Miss Elly."
Shortly after, the big door opened and showed the warm face of Mr. Ando with a friendly smile.
"Miss Elly? Why didn't you tell me first? I can pick you up from the front door."
Elly smiled knot.
"Thank you, sir."
"There's something you want to talk about, isn't there? Come on, come on in. Lam, you can come back. Thank you for dropping off Miss Elly."
Mr. Ando shifted to the edge allowing Elly to enter his room. Lam who was relieved and was about to turn around was stopped by Elly who grabbed her arm.
"He needs to come too, Mr. Ando. This is something we both need to talk to you about."
"Eh? Both?"
"It seems you've misunderstood. I didn't look for Lam to BM just to ask her to take me to your room. If so, I can ask for one of the staff I first met downstairs."
Sir you smile when chiming in,
"I know very well your temperament limits your interactions with people you don't know very well."
"You're right. The first purpose of my arrival this time was really visiting Lam."
"For what?"
"Can't we sit down first, sir?"
"Oh, jeez. Sorry, sorry. Please come in."
"Come on." Elly gently jerked Lam's arm which was within half of her hand.
Lam clucked softly before whispering softly,
"Can't you finish it yourself? Looks like it's gonna be a hassle. I don't like troublesome things."
"It's your proposal. You have to take responsibility," replied Elly lightly before stepping in, not forgetting to forcefully pull Lam's arm to follow her.
They sat on the sofa face to face with Mr. Ando who still maintained his smile.
"So? What's going on between you two?"
"We've been close friends for a long time, sir."
Lam had a snort when she arrived, Elly embraces her shoulder and pulls her closer. The embrace tightened as he moved about to break away. Lam refrained from swearing. This woman's small arms are not as weak as they seem. The look of amazement that Mr. Ando threw at him was only returned with a strange smile. Oh my God, what are his sins until he gets caught up in a situation like this.
"REally?!"
"Really, right?" Elly this time turned to him with a wide smile that annoyed him half to death.
"Y, yes sir. Such is. Haha."
What will this show be like? It's the inner Lam who speaks.
