قال تعالى: ﴿ خُذِ الْعَفْوَ وَأْمُرْ بِالْعُرْفِ وَأَعْرِضْ عَنِ الْجَاهِلِينَ ﴾ [ الأعراف: 199]

"Be forgiving, and have the people do what is ma'ruf, and turn away from the foolish."

(QS. al-A’raaf:199)

"And God also commands us to restrain his anger, as He says :

قال تعالى: ﴿ وَالْكَاظِمِينَ الْغَيْظَ وَالْعَافِينَ عَنِ النَّاسِ وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ ﴾ [آل عمران:

and those who hold back their anger and forgive (errors) people. God loves those who do good.

(QS. Imran Ali:134).

قال تعالى : ﴿ وَأَنْ تَعْفُوا أَقْرَبُ لِلتَّقْوَى

and your forgiveness is closer to the taqwa.. (QS. al-Baqarah:237).
