Adri's Story

"cheating?" reset Flo.

Dahi Flo frowned in hearing her mother's question. However, the mother nodded her head and looked at Flo sharply.

Is that my mom in Adri's mom? What if, mama and papa knew, if mas Adri had broken off our engagement unilaterally?

"Flo not cheating. That guy, just a business associate. He'll handle the ads for our company's latest products." Flo explained in detail.

"Then, why take you to dinner? Until picked up like this, again?" Flo sighed slowly.

"Flo was also shocked, when he said he would pick her up," Flo replied looking relaxed.

"Yes already. Meet him there." Flo nodded her head and stepped down.

"Flo, ask Adri to stop by tomorrow, yeah. Mama listen, she's back from her business trip." Flo looked up and passed back.

When Farel saw Flo, the man immediately stood up and said goodbye to Flo's mother. Afterwards, the two men headed for Farel's car. Again, Flo felt de'javu.

The same car I was in the world of novels. Is this real? Am I stuck in that world again?

A pat on Flo's shoulder, disperse his daydream. The girl just smiled and got into the car. Shortly thereafter, Farel had driven the car at moderate speed.

Throughout the journey, only silence accompanied them. No one wants to start a conversation. Every now and then, Farel sees Flo who turns back to daydreaming.

Arriving at the restaurant, Farel again patted Flo on the shoulder. "What, you, feel uncomfortable with my invitation?"

"No. I was just thinking about something" Flo replied.

Farel nodded and went down. When Flo was about to open the door, the man did it first. Flo smiled and thanked me. Both of them entered the restaurant.

Farel took Flo to the table he had ordered. As it turned out, Karen and her partner had arrived there. Flo looked at Karen and smiled.

She's Karen.

Karen in the novel, it does exist in the real world. While his partner, did not look at him one bit. Karen stood up and smiled at him. The girl even approached and hugged herself.

"Thank you, because you gave me back my love" whispered the girl.

Flo smiled and nodded her head. Farel had already pulled out a chair to occupy Flo. That chair, right in front of Karen's fiancee.

Flo is further shocked to see Karen's fiancee. But he tried to be ordinary. Decided not to know the man.

"Congratulations, for your engagement" Flo said sincerely.

"Thank you" said the man flatly.

Damnit damnit! Why is my ex-fiance engaged to Karen. Wait a minute, is Gisel me? But, I don't know him.

Flo looks at Karen, Farel and Adrian, his former fiancee in turn. He felt trapped in a game.

Who are they really?

Throughout the dinner, Flo simply answered their questions as necessary. The girl did not even ask back or make small talk.

"I go to the toilet first, yes," said Karen.

Adrian, look nodding his head. Before long, Farel's phone rang. The man said goodbye to pick up the phone and left us in awkwardness.

Flo realizes that Adrian is staring at her. However, the girl chose to lower her gaze. He did not want to ask any questions to the man who had severed their relationship unilaterally.

"You okay?" Adri asked first.

"Look at me!" Flo didn't do Adri's request.

"You're mad at me?" tanyakanya.

"There's no point in me being mad at you. Live your life happily." Flo got up and intended to leave the place.

"Oh, yes. Mama asked you to stop by tomorrow. I haven't told them about our relationship ending. So, if you don't want to come, it doesn't matter. I'll tell them if you're busy." Flo immediately left the place without waiting for Farel or Karen.

After dinner last night, Flo told her parents. If the relationship between her and Adri, it's over. They were surprised, but could not impose their will.

Since then, Flo has not seen them again. He chose to live in an apartment and live his busy life as a businessman. Not evading, Flo just doesn't want to follow a game he doesn't know himself.

During the advertising process, Flo even entrusted the job to Nina. He asks Nina to keep her whereabouts from Farel.

Pharel:

The advertising process is complete. What, you, don't want to buy me a meal?

I don't know what the guy was calling her. Flo didn't even write the message. Back to her, Karen's life in the novel. A lot of different, between the content and the reality that happens.

Not wanting to think about it, Flo refocused her mind on work. He stopped his work when he heard a knock on the door. Lazily, Flo stepped in to open the door.

"Where do you know I'm here?" ask Flo when she sees Adri.

"What I don't know about you." Flo let out a rough breath.

Flo looked at Adri flatly. Although his mind was filled with many questions, Flo kept restraint. It is different with Adri. The man just lowered his head.

Why does he look tired? Ah, maybe this is just my feeling, the argument is in my heart.

"What's up, Mom, looking for me?" ask Flo.

Adri raised his gaze to look at Flo, "I miss you," he said softly.

Flo laughed in a smile. The girl remembered, as long as they were engaged, the interaction was minimal. Flo Rida believed Adri's words.

"Mas, think I believe it? All this time, even though we were in an engagement, Mas, never even intended to get close to me." Flo expressed his grievances.

"I know," he answered.

"No need to talk anymore. Just tell me, what do you want?" urge Flo.

Adri sighed harshly, "I'm sorry, because all this time, I couldn't love you. In fact, make you a tool to make Karen love me." Flo doesn't understand Adri's words.

He knows for sure, the plot in the novel he entered, not as Adri said. It all feels awkward to him. Flo nibbled on her temples which hurt suddenly.

"You must want to know who made you into the novel, right?" Adri's question, made Flo look at him sharply.

"You ...." Seeing Adri nod, Flo was unable to continue.

"The novel, I wrote it a long time ago. The character of Karen in the novel is me. While Farel's character, is Karen." Adri's explanation, it doesn't make sense to Karen.

"Karen in the novel, committed suicide. However, when you entered, he came back alive. I, indeed, had the thought of ending my life, when Karen preferred my best friend." Adri continued his story.

"What are you telling me, beyond my reasoning. I can't just believe what you say. It all feels like a lie you're telling. Maybe, it'll be another story, if Karen tells it. Admit, if the characters in the novel, as written there," explained Flo.
