CHARLOTTE: The Injured White Peacock

CHARLOTTE: The Injured White Peacock
Forest Fairy

The two of them hugged like a father and son. Looks moving. While from a distance Ellena and Ruby hid in one of the straws lying next to the tavern.

“Varl, I really miss you.” The little man took off his embrace with Varl.

Ellena gets inspired. His eyes became sharp and looked like there was a system emerging. There was no before. The system was like scanning the little guy Varl had met secretly.

“Elf level two. Her age... HUNDRED YEARS?!”

Instantly, Ruby immediately silenced Ellena's mouth which let out a loud voice. Fortunately, Varl was unconscious. His longing for the boy who was body like a ten-year-old man was greater than just the atmosphere around.

“One more time you scream, I'll send you to hell!” ruby protested in a whisper. Ellena just grinned the horse and scratched her head.

“Yes he's like a ten-year-old boy but apparently a hundred? That's right, Ruby!” Ellena shuddered. I don't know what other oddities he'll get during his life in Wolestria. Truly, all is unacceptable with his common sense. “While Varl is only thirty?!”

Ellena is getting more confused. He also held his head. Really, everything in Wolestria makes Ellena's brain feel so dizzy. Ellena promised, after she returned she would read a lot of books or watch fantasy films so that the unexpected could be understood.

While Ruby like entering in his own thinking. “Hundred years, huh? Just like the length of time the palace was hovering over there.” Small mangut-mangut ruby.

Both of Ellena's eyes were opened. “ONE HUNDRED YEARS?!”

Plaque!

Ruby slapped Ellena's cheek so hard that Ellena fell on the ground. “Sorry, but you've made a fuss, Ellie!” pissed Ruby. It was fortunate that she could still be kind, otherwise Ellena had already been thrown into a place even stranger than Wolestria.

Ellena got up, her uniform in the dust. His cheeks are very red. Ellena's lips curled down, her eyes getting wet. Ellena mewek's. How not, he was directly slapped by Ruby. How outrageous.

Seeing that, Ruby felt guilty. She hugged Ellena with her small body that does not currently show legs on the ground. “Yes, I'm sorry, Ellie.”

Hixes.

Hixes.

Hixes.

Ellena. Then, he felt an awkwardness. Without thinking, he immediately asked. “Ruby, but I can't detect your age? You....is also not actually a three-year-old little girl, right?”

No!

One flick landed on Ellena's forehead. Again, the girl grimaced and held onto her forehead which Ruby was targeting. I don't know why Ruby is so sensitive today.

“No, stupid! My body is small and cannot grow big because I am just a little bird! My age could be more than you or less. Guess yourself.” Ruby crossed her tiny hands in front of her chest. He nodded, throwing his face.

Pouty.

“Indeed, what bird are you?”

Sudden.

It sounded like such a beautiful melody, coming from the middle of the market. The sound came from the harp, a few seconds later someone was singing a song.

There's a harp, there's strings.

Everyone gathers for happiness.

Rise up, king of strength.

Green as Vumut leaves.

Green as moss.

Green as grass.

I waited under His shadow until my love came.

Rise up, O courage.

The shady forest has an unforgettable love.

In the forest I testify.

For my soul's sake meet again.

There is love, there is love.

There is hope, and also sadness.

I'm waiting for you under the shade of peace.

Glug.

Ellena took a sip of her saliva hearing someone sing so melodiously, even around the green light surrounding the City Market, making all eyes seem to be swerving in admiration.

Unexpectedly, the singer who was in the middle of the market was Mae. He sits on a log that has been cut down. On his lap was a small harp. He played it with his finger.

The crystal on his forehead shone, as well as around him. Plants also swayed as if following the peaceful course.people were amazed to see every magic Mae that came out, filled the atmosphere of the city market.

In fact, Ellena herself felt peace in her heart. It was like moving to a green place. Yes, it is like being in the middle of a Tropical Forest that has a large shady tree. All green. Peace.

Ellena closed her eyes, enjoying Mae's hypnotizing voice and as if bringing herself to a place of peace. Not only Ellena who is like that, almost everyone is complacent and like being taken to a green place. For a moment, there was only peace.

After Mae was at her last note, her gaze sharpened and was known only to Ellena. He saw something different from Mae. However, Ellena immediately dismissed her dirty thoughts. He will always trust his friends.

“It was a song titled Forest Fairy. That song has been thousands of years too, just like the Blind Witch sung by the Queen every day,” explains Ruby instantly. He knew that Ellena must be confused. In fact, Ellena also did not care so much about the title of the song.

“But, what is Vumut? The song feels good because it rhymes like a poem.” Ellena has just realized the beauty of the song that is able to hypnotize her.

“Vumut is a healing leaf that only grows on the mainland of the Tropical Forest. The leaves were so wide like one big mattress. Able to wrap up one human race. Vumut as the most famous healing leaves and grows every hundred years.”

Glug.

Ellena was astonished by Ruby's explanation. Wolestria is too much that cannot be thought of logically. Ellena herself could not imagine how big the Vumut tree that one leaf was the size of a king-size mattress.

“K-why did Mae sing that?” ask Ellena. Now he's really curious.

“Hm, I don't know about it. The song Fairy Forest can only be sung by high-level elves. Actually, not all elves lived there. Only the high-rise ones live in there.”

Hearing that, Ellena sat down, “Also the difference about race and rank. For some reason this beautiful world has always been based on it, if it is not sure about Blessings and such. Ah, what about the fate of the unlucky ones?”

A lot of questions swirled in Ellena's brain. Why is it so? He also felt that his life was not as fortunate as others. However, he was always grateful for what God gave him, even if not as much as others.

“Why are races, levels, and also Blessings always the benchmark here?” Ellena held her chin.

The question made Ruby smile. “That's how Wolestria works. Whatever God gives, just be grateful and live it according to his role.”

Sudden.

“KYAAA!!” Steven, Gao, and Gall ran in a sweat that had flooded. Meanwhile a huge snake with sharp and strong scales like a dragon was chasing.

“Hadeuh, what else is this?” inner Ellena while patting her eel.
