27. Pressure Demand Pressure

Orlando took a drink for Carine so that his wife's body was not too weak. Carine drank it for a mouthful and then she cried. Orlando understood Carine's current feelings.

But one thing Orlando does not know is not only the threat of his stepmother that makes Carine depressed but there is also a warning Mr. M in order for him to catch Mr. Franco which makes it difficult to get out of his current comfort zone.

"Cry dear if it can ease your burden. I'm sorry I made you face a hard choice.

But, you're not gonna leave me, are you?" orlando asked as he rubbed the clear fur on Carine's cheek with the tip of his thumb.

"I'm scared. I'm afraid this beautiful dream will end, Orlando," Carine muttered with trembling lips.

"Honey. Don't say such a horrible thing...! We will be together and always will be together. You seem to be unwell. We go home...! I'm also unemployed at home there's no one I can tempt" said Orlando, who now works for his own company out of town.

But he works from his apartment to be with Carine. Carine complied with her husband's request. He also could no longer focus on working because his brain was suddenly frozen in addition to his body which seemed to lose energy.

"Let me carry you. You don't have to walk alone. We went straight to the elevator to the basement parking lot because my car was there" Orlando said.

"All right."

Orlando held Carine lightly because of her large tall body with burly looking muscles that made the girls willingly give up their bodies in the power of this handsome man. But unfortunately, Orlando only wants to give his soul only for one woman who is Carine.

In the car, Carine looks more silent. Orlando had to refrain from bothering Carine at this time. But occasionally he rubbed Carine's hand or accidentally squeezed a chewy object belonging to Carine who also did not react so much to the behavior of her husband.

Carine really felt devastated today. If he could, he wanted to drown himself in the deepest sea trench in order to end the current chaos of his life.

"Carin. Please...! Don't think too much about mommy...! Our relationship is only a half-brother not a disgrace. We're not blood dear" Orlando comforted Carine.

"That's not what I'm worried about Orlando. Nope. That maybe I can overcome by asking mommy's understanding. But, this is a matter of your Daddy being that son of a bitch.

He will destroy our relationship. That's what I'm thinking," Carine cried out to herself to make her cry again.

"Gosh..honey...! Please don't waste your tears! there are happy things that need your tears too. Please don't cry anymore. I feel like I'm a loser in our relationship" Orlando said.

Carine also wondered to herself why she was so sensitive to tears when she herself rarely cried during her time as an FBI secret agent.

Until arriving at her apartment, Carine was able to control herself and did not want to make her husband anxious. Orlando had to take care of this woman by replacing Carine's work clothes with sleeping pajamas.

He wants Carine to rest her body and brain to get fresh again after waking up. Carine who slept on her back and Orlando hugged the slender waist until they both fell asleep in their naps.

While at her residence, Mr. Franco, Mrs Adeline also cried in her room imagining how she so cruelly slapped her own daughter for thinking about her own happiness.

"Jeez Carine ..! out of the millions of men on this vast earth, why should you choose Orlando who is your husband..? Why darling? Why...?!" shriek Madame Adeline can't think straight now.

This middle-aged woman did not know what to do about her marriage. If she tells her husband about Carine and Orlando's secret marriage to her husband, then they are ready to argue and she must prepare herself to part with her husband.

Moreover, the thought of Carine who has never known love so far plus Carine rarely has a boyfriend makes Madame Adeline must be able to take a stance on the relationship with her husband who has just walked six months.

At nightfall, Orlando had already ordered dinner for the two of them at the luxurious restaurant in the city. While Carine still looks lazy on the bed even though her body feels fresher after waking up.

Due to Carine's seemingly limp state, Orlando ordered the woman's appetizing meal. Pretty spicy food and dessert with a sweet one. Likewise with fruit juice drinks that he prepared for Carine, some are slightly sour but fresh and some are sweet.

The food and drinks were served at the dining table arranged neatly by Orlando. Now just call Carine. But Orlando's steps stopped seeing Carine already walking herself towards him with her hair rolled up revealing her neckline. Apparently Carine had taken a shower and was wearing new sleeping pajamas.

Orlando hurriedly pulled out a chair for Carine who immediately sat down with a stingy smile.

"Thank you."

Carine took food for herself and ignored her husband as if today his mood was really very ugly.

"Have you taken a shower?" ask Orlando.

"Hm!" Carine nodded with a small deheman.

"Is the food good, baby?" asked Orlando who wanted to know his wife's comment on her menu choice.

"I like it," Carine briefly made Orlando not want to ask anymore.

"What is the nature of Carine like this when she is sad?" inner Orlando who does not know much about his wife because all this time Carine plays many characters who fit his needs.

Orlando begins to be confused by Carine's sincere and honest attitude and which one sounds theatrical to her when this woman shows the feeling of love she has for herself.

"Are you feeling better, baby?" ask Orlando.

"As you can see. I'm fine" said Carine, then finished her meal and took her drink and gulped it down.

"Are you still thinking about mommy?" ask Orlando.

"Please take care of our divorce as soon as possible..!" ketus Carine who suddenly left the dining table with Orlando who almost spouted his food out of shock.

"Are you crazy, huh?! Is that just your love for me?" snapped at Orlando who didn't like Carine toying with her feelings.

"It's nothing compared to the worse things we're going to face, Orlando. Prepare yourself if our marriage will be the victim of the selfishness of both our parents," Carine's inner being who has not been able to reveal the truth about Mr. Franco to Orlando.

"Carin. Don't ever try to leave me if that accomplice of yours is gonna break!" threaten Orlando's.

"It's not me who will leave you Orlando but you alone who will stay away from me," the inner Carine who can only answer in her heart.

Carine went inside her room again and started crying because her heart was still very depressed until now.
