Chapter 60 The Great Secret Revealed

The atmosphere this afternoon looks cloudy. Dimas was driving his car across the traffic jam due to road repairs on the right side. While playing music from his favorite band, Dimas tries to understand what he saw earlier in the basement of Mall X's parking lot.

Dimas to Mall X because he was looking for some monthly needs that some days just keep him put off. He also planned to meet someone there but did not so because of the impossible time.

Someone at a clothing store caught his eye. The girl with the green palette domination outfit with the hijab and the waist bag she was wearing made Dimas not hesitate to call her. Dinda, the girl he met a few weeks ago.

“Do Aryans have a sister? As I recall, she once told me she had a sister and sister. But, they are not like sister and sister.”, Dimas thought in his heart while driving his vehicle which seems to still be stuck until the next 15 minutes.

“But, they're not dating, are they? No, Arya doesn't seem to be the type of guy to date a girl like Dinda. At least, if he's still Arya who five years ago. Hm... exactly what is their relationship?”, Dimas was still deep in thought before his phone rang.

“Halo..”, Dimas replied.

“Hai, Dimas. You how are you? Already in Indonesia?”

“Know where are you I in Indonesia?”, Dimas replied to the person who contacted him.

“From Anton.”, replied the woman.

“Anton does have a big mouth.”

“Hahaha.”, the laughter of the woman who turned out to be Sarah echoed out of the speaker phone Dimas.

“Where do you open the outlet? I'll stop by.”

“No need.”, replied Dimas.

“Why? You are afraid that you will be tempted by me again?”, replied Sarah half-jokingly.

“I met Arya today.”, said Dimas honestly.

“What? Already?”, Sarah is very surprised. Although he would have expected this to happen, but he did not expect their meeting to be that fast.

“Hm. He’s with someone.”, replied Dimas again. His tone was weak as if he did not like it.

“Hm.”

“What does it mean with ‘Hm’?”, says Dimas.

“Where do you open the outlet?”, ask Sarah again.

“Office X. The elite office.”, Dimas replied with an enthusiastic tone.

“That’s where Arya works.”

“What?”, this time it was Dimas who was made dumbstruck.

“I didn't mean..”, said Dimas cut off.

“Already. He knows.”

“What?”, ask Dimas.

“I contacted him several times but his answer was always cold. She knew I was in touch with you while still with her.”, Sarah replied.

“So, he knows that..”, continued Dimas but again - again cut.

“But.”

“Okay. If he finds out, he will kill me.”, Dimas said again.

“It seems, I will often meet with Arya. I don’t know how to behave.”, Dimas complains.

“Salah she didn't give her time to me when we got married. But, I'm sure he still loves me.”

“I'm on the way. Call me later.”, Dimas shuts down his phone.

“Halooo Din..mulu work. We try the Momi outlet below, yuk.”, invite Andra over the phone. She was very enthusiastic once Momi's outlet opened today. There are 100 free coffee for the first visitor and with the rest Andra has taken 5 places for Suci, Dinda, Bryan, Delina, and himself.

“I still make training Q&A. Awaited by mbak Siska.”, said Dinda refused.

“Siska... means the end of Arya sir. Okay.. Goodluck, Din's. But we're still here for another 20 minutes. If mo go down, hayuk.”, Andra said again.

On the other hand, Dinda was still very busy with the Q&A reports and documents she had to make to submit to Siska. Furthermore, Siska would give it to Arya for review before sending it to all her subordinates.

Dinda turned on the speaker phone because she wanted to be able to work while receiving a call from Andra.

“Thanks, Andra. But I think I'm still a long time.”, Dinda hung up.

Before long, he saw Arya walking towards his division along with two division heads that Dinda did not know.

“Erick where?”, Arya arrived - suddenly knocked on the table next to Dinda and asked Erick.

Dinda did not flinch for a moment and he realized when he saw two division heads who were like waiting for an answer even though they were not the ones who asked.

“Pak Erick is meeting with Finance, Mr.”, Dinda replied to Arya.

“Please tell Erick, I wait for him under 2pm, yes.”, Arya command.

“Under where, sir?”, said Dinda trying to make it more specific.

“Lobi.”, Arya replied briefly and replied with a nod.

“You didn't have lunch?”, asked Arya casually but made Dinda uncomfortable because there were two other division heads there.

“After finishing this, I have lunch, Sir. We have been waiting for Siska.”

“Eat first. You can work later.”, Arya's orders sound ordinary in the ears of the division head who is with her. But, somehow Dinda became misbehaved and was surprised by Arya's unusual attitude in the office.

‘Which is talking, sir Arya the head of Partners Division, or Arya my husband?’

“Good, Mr.”, Dinda nodded briefly.

Arya immediately passed while continuing her disconnected discussion with the two division heads earlier. They part ways in the elevator as Arya heads downstairs for lunch with Erick.

Long Arya's waiting for Erick in the lobby. His attention was drawn to a new cafe that opened today. Several bouquets of flowers appear in front of the Cafe area.

‘It looks like this cafe is famous too.’, Aryan bathin in heart. He still does not know who the owner of this cafe is. When he walked into the office this morning, his attention was immediately on the elevator because there were so many meetings and important matters that he had to do this morning before taking a 2-day leave.

While watching the cafe, Arya's phone rang.

“Ya.. hello Rick? Where's lo? I have been waiting for him.”, said Arya immediately venting her frustration.

“Sorry, I'm still 10 minutes away. Wait in the parking lot, Arya. Later I go straight down to the basement.”, Erick said without guilt.

“That boss, me or lo.”, said Arya defiantly. He felt annoyed that Erick gave a false promise. Fifteen minutes ago, Erick told me he'd be done in 10 minutes. But after fifteen minutes had passed, he instead asked for another 10 minutes.

‘Know so, I eat alone.’, Arya said in her heart. He had already thought of someone he wanted to eat with.

“Lo eat alone, Rick. I invite other girls.”, said Arya closed her phone.

Before long Arya presses back the dial button intending to make the call.

“Din, you to the basement parking lot now yes. You know where my car is parked, right? You go there now.”, Arya commands once her phone is connected to Dinda's.

“Eh? What to say, Pak”, said Dinda.

“You haven't eaten, have you? We eat out.”, replied Arya.

“Eh, but sir, it will look the same to other employees.”

“Gapa, anyways 5 minutes away, lunch hour is over. Udah, you are down now.”, Arya said before hanging up her phone.

He was in the parking lot and headed to his car park. While passing through the emergency staircase where the door was open, Arya heard a familiar voice receiving a call.

“You want to come back again? Not enough you hurt him, Sar?”, the man's voice is clear because the atmosphere in basement 3 is very quiet. 

“If Arya finds out the reason you divorced from her is actually because you are pregnant with my son, she will definitely beat me up - out of the.”, said the man

“Stay only. I betrayed his trust when I cheated on you. If Arya knew that you were pregnant with my son, I don't know how to deal with him.”. Arya could only hear the man's voice and not hear the person she was connecting with. 

Arya drops a coffee tumblr made of iron onto the basement floor by accident. His hands arrived - arriving weak and unfocused holding a tumblr containing his favorite coffee. He knew the figure who was on the phone on the emergency stairs.

Dimas. The man near the door of the emergency staircase who was receiving the call was Dimas, the man he saw accidentally calling his wife in the parking lot of Mall X. Dimas, his best friend more than five years ago. The friend who made him willing to share a flat while studying in America because the man did not have enough money. The man with all his confidence became his best friend and Sarah.

Arya and Sarah have been dating since their second year of college. Arya, Sarah, Dimas, and Anton have been friends since their first year of college. While in her final year, Arya catches Dimas having an affair with Sarah, Arya still forgives her and thinks that they might just be together too often and misinterpret her feelings.

Arya is married to Sarah after she failed to make her S2 at MIT and after Dimas cut ties and contacts altogether with them. Although several times Arya suspects that Sarah is still in communication with Dimas, but Arya continues to dismiss her.

The sentence he had just heard from Dimas' mouth became a bolt of lightning in broad daylight that destroyed all of his defenses. Dimas exited the emergency exit leading to where Arya was standing to try to explain what he just said.

However, Arya's hand was faster than that explanation. He hit Dimas until the man bounced for not expecting an attack. Just now that Arya wanted to hit again, Dinda had already shouted from the direction of the turn of the basement elevator, the same place where Arya passed earlier.

“Pak Arya!”, Dinda immediately ran towards Arya to stop the man's blow. Linda was confused as to what was happening. Arya's not the kind of person who would hit someone in the basement of an office parking lot. Throughout his time working here, he had heard many rumors ranging from Arya to clubs, drunkenness, and so on. But, there was never a rumor that he hit people.

Plus, to Dinda's knowledge, they don't know each other. Then why?

“Pak Arya! Already.”, Dinda tried to pull the hand of Arya who will come back to beat Dimas. Twice Arya tried to hit him again but Dinda quickly held her hand. Finally Arya brushed off Dinda's hand and walked towards her car. His anger was clearly emanated, even as he got into the car and slammed the door.

Before long, Arya's car is seen slamming the steering wheel and going roughly from the parking lot, leaving Dinda still in shock and shocked by what she sees, and Dimas who was still bowed with bloody lips.
