Childhood Match
Is that Lecturer You?

The motorcycle entered the gate of Untidar which opened wide to the student parking lot. After stopping and tidying up his clothes, Gendhis walked to the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Untidar, then looked for a room that was used as a selection place for interviews of prospective new students.

It did not take long, Gendhis saw a bunch of other prospective students who were also dressed the same as him, namely white superiors and black subordinates. Gendhis soon headed to the place where they were gathering. And it turned out to be true, from the entrance of the room, there was a writing, "TEST PLACE INTERVIEWS PROSPECTIVE NEW STUDENTS".

" Assalamu'alaikum.. Excuse me, would you like to take the interview test as well?" gendhis greetings to a girl sitting in front of the room.

"Waalaikumsalam. You too, huh?" the girl asked back.

"Yes, but I'm late. Is it almost done?" Gendo continued his question.

"Not yet, it's only just begun." Friend the girl.

"Ohhh... Thank goodness..." Genphis was relieved.

"Whose name are you? Recognize, I'm Ita." The girl stretched out her hand.

"Hayyy Ita, my name is Gendhis." He returned Ita's hand.

They chatted at length and exchanged whatsapp numbers, while waiting for their turn. Until finally, all the participants finished taking the interview test, only Gendhis was left someone who had not been called because he arrived late.

"Have the interview yet Ma'am?" ask one of the selection team officers.

Gendhis was a little hesitant as to whether he was still given the chance to take the test.

"No, ma'am, I'm sorry, I was late because there was a problem on the way to campus. Can I still take the interview test? I beg you ma'am. Allow me to take the test.." Gendhis pleaded with his face to give him permission.

"Oh... So you're the late student? All right.. please come in." The officer allowed Gendhis to take the interview test.

"Thank you, God. Thanks to his help I was able to take the test. But who is he? What's his name and how should I thank him?" he said in his heart as he walked towards a room where the test took place.

"Tok... tok..." Gendo knocked on the door.

"Excuse me.. Can I come in?" Gendo asked permission.

"Yes.. please!" replied a teacher who was in the room.

Genghis opened the door and...

"Astaghfirullahalazim home..." Gendhis was surprised not to play when he saw the lecturer who would interview him was the man who gave him a ride in his car this morning.

"The first one was.." said Gendhis spontaneously.

"Ehhem..." Gala pretended to cough in order for Gendhis not to speak beyond the topic of the interview.

"Please sit!" gala said as if they had never met each other.

From the entrance of the room a selection officer said,

"Sir Gala, this is the last participant who was late" said the officer.

"Yes, ma'am, thank you." replied Gala while sitting in the chair that had been provided for the interview test.

"Oh.. So his name is Mr. Gala." said Gendhis in his heart while sitting in the seat of the selection.

Gala gave him a series of academic and non-academic questions to test how much of Gendhis knowledge was. Of all the questions Gala asked, none of them were missed. All answered perfectly. It was not wrong for Gala to judge him. From the beginning of their encounter, Gala was able to judge that Gendhis was a clever girl.

"Well, the interview is over. For the results, please wait for the announcement to be delivered through the official Untidar website. You can come out now." said Gala.

"good. Thanksmeme it... Mas. I mean, thank you, sir." said Gendhis as he got up from his seat to leave the room.

"Yes please.." replied Gala.

He felt embarrassed and unwell because it had been impolite like a student to his lecturer.

Gendhis is very grateful, today... Gala not only helped him save Grandma Suhartini, but Gala also gave him the opportunity to take the interview test.

Back to Latitude.

"Hayy... Bro... thank you very much, I thought you did not respond to the same request I had at that time, but it turns out.. you really have lulled my life from the lion cage Bro..." said Arnold.

The latitude that was just finished following academic activities was a little surprised to hear the words of his best friend. I know very well what Arnold meant was about Gabby, but where did he know?

"Thank you about what Bro?" Lintang pretended not to know.

"What else would it be, if not Gabby?" said Arnold.

"Oh... about that? Okey... Bro... equally." replied Lintang reluctant to talk a lot about Gabby. He is afraid Arnold will know the truth that Lintang actually fell in love with Gabby.

"But, by the way, you're not saying the same thing to me, if you've been on this mission?" ask Arnold.

"Yes make a surprise, Bro. if I tell you it is not exciting" said Lintang.

"Aseeekkk. Once my engagement with Gabby is officially canceled, Lo can stay with Gabby. and Gendhis, he will not know about this as long as no one tells him. Okay.." said Arnold.

"okay... Bro!" lintang replied hesitatingly.

He was a little surprised to hear Arnold say the words that he could leave Gabby. Even up to this moment, it had not crossed the slightest thought of Lintang to leave Gabby. He realized that he was trapped in Arnold's play. He realized that slowly, he had really fallen in love with Gabby. And latitude, it's been too comfortable with that. In the heart, his bad thoughts came up,

"If only I hadn't gotten engaged, maybe right now, I could have loved Gabby without hiding from anyone, without lying to anyone, and without hurting anyone... but.. This matchmaking has really bound me."

A few days after the interview test, Gendhis opened the announcement of the passing of the test from the website that has been provided. He was very happy, because from the written test results and yesterday's interview accumulated so that he got the highest score of the Untidar college entrance selection.

Not only Gendhis, his parents, and his mother-in-law's father-in-law were very happy. Soon they made a salutation as an expression of that gratitude. Cooking red porridge as a tradition of the people of Kampung Merangi when their family members are starting something good, such as starting to go to school, starting to go to college, getting accepted to work, moving to a new home, and then, and so forth.

In addition to making red porridge, the family of Gendhis and his future father-in-law together cooked some meals that they would give to all the villagers, as well as all the students in the school of Genphis.

The villagers were also happy, as if they could feel the happiness of the two families. Unceasingly they admire two families who are so harmonious, harmonious, generous, like to help their neighbors who are crammed with economic problems, love to give alms, active in community activities, and they are not happy, and what makes them most proud is, their daughter's son who has been betrothed has brought many fragrant names Kampung Merangi for his achievements.

"Barokallah, yes, Nduk.may Allah protect you from any evil eye, and always take care of your family." said a grandmother who lived a kara in her village while receiving alms and some food from Gendhis and his family.

"Amiiiin, thank you, Mbah. I say goodbye first." said Gendhis while kissing the hand of the Grandmother.

Gendhis went from house to house to hand out the alms and again the villagers prayed sincerely for the proud village girl,

"Thank you, Ma'am Gendhis.hopefully achieve what is aspired. Ma'am Gendhis and Mas Lintang are examples for young women in our village, hopefully our children can follow in your footsteps" said one mother when receiving the gift of Gendhis.

Gendhis smiled and said,

"Yes... Mother.. amiiin." said Gendhis gratefully.

"The two of you are a good couple. We do'a will your relationship last until grandparents." added The Mother.

"Amiiin.thank you very much Mother.I'll excuse you first." said Gendhis as he went to continue his goal.

So on, every house he went to, always said the best do'a, and it was all a blessing in itself for Gendish and his family.
