Chapter 31 Grandma's Request

David stepped into Diana's room. He stopped at Diana's doorstep and just as he was about to knock on the door, it opened.

“David?” greet Diana as she sees David standing in front of her.

“Iya, Aunt. I want to talk to Auntie,"

“Alright, you're finally home too, Auntie wants to talk to you too. Tell me what really happened to Auntie, David? Why did you suddenly make a press conference and confess to all the reporters that you already have a fiancee? When did you get engaged? Why didn't you tell us?” ask Diana.

“Sorry, Auntie, everything happened so fast,”

answer David.

“Sorry? That only? What do you mean David? You know that your behavior really makes your Aunt, Uncle, and Grandma disappointed! Is this what Auntie taught you, David?" diana said with a slightly raised tone.

"Sorry, Auntie, if David has let things down, but I was forced to do it all because Grandma constantly forced me to marry Clarissa,”.

“So, just because grandma forced you to marry Clarissa, you got engaged to a careless David woman?” diana said she could not believe it.

Aunt Mun's deheman voice halts the conversation between David and his aunt, Diana.

“Here you go, go see your grandmother first!" exclaim Diana.

“Alright, Auntie I went to Grandma's room first" David said as he left Diana.

David ventured himself into the Granny's room which was now like a tiger cage for him. Inside the room appears Grandma David was sitting while opening sheet by page of the magazine in his hand.

When he heard the sound of David's footsteps entering his room, his gaze turned to look at David sharply.

She had no idea that Bella would make such a humiliating gesture to her family. David just wants the whole world to know including William's family that David already has a fiancee so they can't force David to marry Clarissa.

However, today's events are completely out of David's control. He did not think that Bella could do that much to avenge her treatment.

“Why? Why are you just silent? Have you become a mute David?!” shouts Granny David.

“Sorry, Grandma, actually everything that happened today was beyond David's expectations. It's all because Bella is angry with David. So, she purposely dressed up and dressed like that to humiliate David,” David replied.

“Oh, so the girl's name is Bella? And, how dare she not be your wife, she has dared to humiliate you. Are you sure you will make a girl with such behavior as your wife?” ask Grandma David who's trying to find honesty out of David's eyes.

“For now David has not thought up to that Grandma,” replied David lowered his gaze.

It seems like what Mun and I think is true. David does this all just because he does not want to marry Clarissa and it seems like his relationship with the girl is just pretending (inner Grandma David).

“Then you bring the girl here tomorrow. I want to know what that girl really looks like,”

“What?!” David's eyes widened when he heard Grandma's words.

“Why? Is Grandma wrong if Grandma wants to know the fiance of Grandma's granddaughter?” ask Grandma who is getting suspicious when she sees David's reaction.

“Ti-no, Grandma. Tomorrow David will bring Bella home" David replied without looking at Grandma.

Shit, why is everything like this? I hope that rancid girl doesn't make trouble again this time. I should be able to convince Grandma that only the girl I want to marry is not Clarissa so that everything I do today is not in vain (inner David).
