Noisy, inner Davian is uncomfortable. Occasionally the bespectacled man looked around; many pairs of eyes stared curiously at them or precisely at Gedion who was crying loudly. Davian should have booked a private room instead of an open dining room like this. Make a shame even though Davian now has a thick face because Eva who always acts in front of the public. But it's kind of annoying if you're always the center of attention, right?
Well let's summarize the information that Davian got from his brother's babble. First the man said that if his wife ran away, it means Diana—the brother-in-law of Davian left Gedion's house. His reason? Without waiting for her brother to talk Davian can guess, surely the woman is not at home with the nature of Gedion. Haha, kidding. As told earlier that Davian was not very close to his brothers so Davian did not care much about them but as far as the bespectacled man knew Gedion never considered himself married; alias even though he was married he never thought his wife existed.
Then what Davian heard from Gedion's mouth next was divorce. There may be one reason why her brother-in-law wants to divorce Gedion other than her behavior.
"Why don't you just divorce Gedion's sister-in-law? She had already suffered enough from pairing with a husband who never thought it existed. No wonder he chose to run away..." This was Davian's opinion but it seemed to be on target, judging by Gedion's silent reaction. Hm~ pulls. It turns out that the real married life is quite complicated if it is not based on love.
Davian knows that Gedion is the kind of man who doesn't like to be tied to anything else in a marriage, he's free-spirited; he's free-spirited; and who would have thought Gedion was the first to marry his fateful partner in their family lineage. How could? Typical is quite simple because of blind women—Diana, davian's sister-in-law found Gedion quickly and they married, although Gedion never thought she existed and left her to rot in a corner of the house with 1-2 servants caring for her.
Poor thing, Davian only ever passed once with his brother-in-law.
"No!" rebut Gedion did not accept as he clasped his hands at the table, their dinner plate trembled for a while. Davian doesn't understand, what does Gedion want? There was no way he would suddenly turn into a responsible husband and then want to atone for his sin on Diana?
Funnier.
"Why not?" davian asked while propping up his side of the chin, the man's head started to hurt. His eyelids are heavy. He's exhausted, this guy needs to sleep but Gedion doesn't like allowing Davian to go home because he needs a friend to confide in after missing for months.
"I don't want to divorce Diana..."
"Because what? You're in love with her?" It was the last conversation Davian remembered before the darkness welcomed his vision.
Bugh!
The man's body slammed against the small surface of the table, from between his lips came a smooth, regular snoring. Oops! It turned out that Davian was asleep, leaving behind a figure of Gedion who was looking at him funny.
...***...
The clink of the clock rattled Davian's ear, what time is it? he was curious while trying to open his eyelids. Remang, although vaguely Davian could see in the darkness of the room, the interior around looked foreign.
Strange, this is not her room. Then the breath beside Davian also smelled nothing like yours–Eva? The man glared, while rising from his sleep he felt the nightstand to turn on the sleeping lights and how surprised Davian was when the figure of his eldest brother welcomed the eyesight. ISH! IT'S REPULSIVE! davian cried out inwardly as he rolled over the body of the gedion with his feet.
Bugh!?!
A crisp voice rang out, accompanied by a sick ringing from Gedion.
"How can I end up here!" davian said loudly while imagining the no-no, it would be better if it was with Eva instead of with a real man who was none other than her brother.
Gedion yawned, still half conscious she answered her youngest sister's question.
"Because you're asleep and I don't know your address Davi, so we're going to the hotel..."
Heh!
The corner of Davian's lips twitched, his irritated face completely present. He stared in disbelief at his seemingly indifferent brother; the man chose to rise from the floor to the bed in order to continue sleeping.
"Where are you going?" asked Gedion to wake up when he saw the youngest turn on all the hotel room lighting and put on his shirt. It's still 4 in the morning.
"GO HOME!" davian unceremoniously picked up his briefcase and sauntered away, ignoring Gedion who still called himself and saying he needed a friend to confide in him for long.
FUCK YOUR BUSINESS! OR WHATEVER IT IS!
Reply Davian inwardly, stepping alone in a long silent passageway.

Davian breathed a sigh of relief when he saw the neighborhood where the apartment he was in was clearly visible behind the window glass hitchhiking. Grateful that there was a taxi passing by in the early hours of the morning so Davian did not need to think much other than going home. Eva must have been waiting for the man with worry, this was really a bawling act; it could have been Davian falling asleep from exhaustion.
Black car tires from the taxi Davian was riding stopped, the man rushed down after paying a sum of money to the driver. Without looking back at the man with the face framed with glasses, he ran small through the hallway to the floor where he lived.
Taps...
Taps...
Taps...
His footsteps echoed by the situation, the man then smiled brightly when he saw the door leaf from their apartment. The last thing Davian remembered was Eva sleeping in the guest room because Davian forgot to say that the man went on a business trip out for 2 days and 1 night. Davian's hand lifted, reaching for the doorknob. In notya fast but what welcomes the eyes of the man is only a mere emptiness.
Degh's!
Davian froze, unconsciously throwing the briefcase he was holding and running towards the room.
Brak!
Blank. There's no one there.
"Where's Eva?" he mumbled in disbelief.
Where're you? |
The man then whispered the word; trying to find a location but the form of the woman named Eva could not find anywhere. A small part of Davian's heart rang out cracking.
Hands clenched.
"Where else did that naughty woman go?" his hiss was giddy with hazel eyes that lit up.
