As usual, after dawn prayers, Crescencia immediately struggled with the dough of the steamed cake. Surely helped by Mira who was busy preparing breakfast for family members in this house. The savory hot, fragrant smoke burst as Crescencia opened the lid of her cake steamer. Mira who was slicing the carrot was immediately lulled by the aroma of a cake that was so legit pierced both nostrils.
Crescencia smiled happily as the breads expanded perfectly. He also arranged neatly in a container that he usually brought to school.
"You're going to the room, Dika?" mira asked, seeing Cresencia about to move with a steamed bun on a small plate.
Crescencia stopped its advance. Nodding is brief, while Mira looks to take a deep breath.
"Now that yesterday has not come home, Cha," Mira said.
"Not come home?" Crescencia parrot with both eyes widened.
"Yes. I don't come home often."
Crescencia exhaled a very tired breath. Now, where did her brother vent his emotions? Is it just because I was punished with respect to the flag with Mr. Romi yesterday, Dika was immediately frustrated? Just be right!
"Usually, Brother Dika if not go home, where to run, Bi?" crescencia asked as she placed the plate in her hand on the table.
"Auntie doesn't know either, Cha. Aunty didn't dare interfere with Dika."
Crescencia fell silent, lowering both smells that felt limp. Without a word, Crescencia took her bread basket, choosing to get ready for school.
...🌹...
On the way, Crescencia was now able to sit quietly, as her father told the private driver to take her wherever she went. Today Crescencia does not look as happy as usual. The child looks a henchman, because his mind wanders thinking about Dika's condition.
"What's up, Cha?" tanya Bimo as the driver who delivered Crescencia today. He asked because Crescencia repeatedly exhaled heavily.
Crescencia slightly stiffened her body. Grasping tightly the seatbelt that crossed his chest. He looked at Bimo weakly. "When you don't go home, where usually does Mr Bim go? Icha worry."
Again Crescencia got the same response as Mira. Being asked such a question actually made Bimo exhale deeply.
"Kayak Dika's son is unruly. I only worked six months in the house, immediately swabbed the chest see his behavior. Still in school is like a market thug. I think a child can never be educated!"
A pair of Crescencia eyes instantly glared. Staring intently at the person next to him with great dislike.
"Sir, Bimo! Don't like the value of people from outside! If Mr. Bimo himself doesn't know the person's background!" Crescencia is screaming a little. Then immediately turned his gaze towards the car glass. Crescencia breath looks faster than usual. His jaw was hard. Crescencia was quite embittered after hearing Bimo's words.
While Bimo was surprised to see the response from Crescencia. Bimo was made dumbfounded when Crescencia did not say anything more. Bimo glanced at Crescencia several times through the reflection of the car glass. Crescencia's face remains the same, the girl looks more and more bent her face.
Bimo scratched his non-itchy neck. He became a dilemma. In fact, he just pulled out his teardrops. And Bimo did not expect to get angry from Crescencia.
"Geev, Icha. I got a message from Mr. Dimas. He said, after school, Icha has to go to the hospital with me," Bimo said, opening his voice as they reached the front of the school gate.
"Yes," Crescencia replied briefly. Then open the car door and get down from there. Not forgetting to bring the bread basket. However, before Crescencia left, he took the time to give one of his bread to Bimo and said, saying,
"This is for Mr. Bimo. Mr. Bimo can no longer think negatively about Sister Dika, yes. Because Mr. Bimo does not yet know what Kak Dika experienced. Brother Dika is actually not as bad as what Mr. Bimo thinks." Crescencia raised the corner of her lips upwards. Giving a friendly smile that made Bimo immediately smile in relief.
"Yes, Cha. Sorry." Bimo accepted the bread happily.
"If so, Icha come in first. Mr. Bimo be careful. Don't forget to eat the bread." Crescencia passed from before Bimo, and stepped lightly into the classroom.
...🌹...
"Well! Be loved, ulam arrived!" ara shouted happy to see the presence of Crescencia. "The cha! See PR Physics!" continued Ara directly memalak Crescencia task book.
Crescencia exhaled a long breath. He walked to his desk to put down his bread basket. All around him has now been crowded by his friends who queue up to borrow his PR book.
"This. Don't scramble! Don't get torn!" persemat Crescencia firmly.
"OK-okay, sip!" reply Ara and the others with pleasure.
"Cha, you have an event tomorrow, don't you?" nando asked as he plucked one loaf of bread in the Crescencia basket without permission.
Crescencia looked over, then shook her head slowly. "There's no such thing, Nando. Why?"
"Gue wants to take you for a walk. Let you know Malang," replied Nando by biting his bread.
"Where to go?"
"Where are you."
Crescencia. Trying to weigh up Nando's offer. Quite interesting, because during his move to this city, Crescencia only knew the way home to his school.
"Yes, Icha want to!" sahut Crescencia who immediately got a gentle swab on his head.
"Sip. I'll pick you up in the afternoon, let's not get hot."
Crescencia nodded happily looking at Nando. So did Nando who was now walking to his seat. While on the other hand, Ara who heard the conversation of the two people, immediately stopped writing. His hands suddenly felt limp with a chest that was quite tight. However, Ara quickly shook her head. Expel negative thoughts that hurt his heart. Ara also refocused on continuing her writing.
After a few minutes, everyone in the class was directly centered on Adam, as the chairman of class X-IPA 2 who gave instructions in front of the class.
"Pak Romi is not in class today, there is a meeting he said. But Mr. Romi loves our duty. We were told to make a group. Each group contained four people. Work out exercises on page five recovered six. Handwritten on striped folio paper, equipped with the problem and the solution formula. And collected tomorrow morning."
All the students in the class immediately let out a sigh as a complaint.
"Buckoo! Muke gile Mr. Romi love about this much, collected it tomorrow morning!" lamented Zikri who opened the book on that page.
"Still mending tomorrow morning rather than today!" reply Adam, although he also looks upset with the many questions on the page.
"There's no mending-mending this mah! My brain just wants to blow up see this about! Also no!" timpal Ara was holding his head. The others agreed.
"Hurry up and form a group! If so, I'll list your group's names on my desk!" adam's orders made the classroom a little noisy.
"Who are we, Ra?" crescencia asked as she spread her gaze.
Ara seemed to think with her index finger tapping on her chin. His eyes swept through the classroom. Ara's lips lifted, then pointed at the back bench.
"Nando and Zikri!" exclaim Ara by pointing at the back bench.
Crescencia's forehead instantly shriveled. Staring at Ara's direction in disbelief.
"Ara sure? They are both dogs and rabbits! Can not unite loh," asserted Crescencia a little unsure.
Ara grunted softly. Ignoring the Crescencia speech. He looked back at Nando and Zikri who were busy playing mobile phones. As if I don't care about the job.
"Zikri's a pretty good mathematician. Yesterday he had a quiz eighty-five. Best value after elo!"
Crescencia mangosteen, justifying Ara's speech.
"And if Nando ...." Ara suddenly raised her smile. His eyes looked like one who was embarrassed. His cheeks looked a little red. Crescencia who saw his friend's strange behavior could only wait for Ara's sentence completely. She could not understand the sweet smile on Ara's face.
"Nando's a pinter, too." Ara smiled shyly. Turning his gaze towards Crescencia who was looking at him confused. However, Crescencia just swooped it up.
"Nando, Zikri!" Crescencia's hand waved to call the two friends. The two walked over to the Crescencia table.
"You got a group?" ask Crescencia. Both are slowly shaking.
"You want to join Icha and Ara?" crescencia bargain that makes Nando and Zikri look at each other.
"Why should Zikri be the same!" nando protest. "Lo find another group, Zik! I don't want a group with you!"
"Gue doesn't want the same group, lo!" zikri reply did not accept. "So there's someone looking for another group! I also look at that face! Not handsome! Beautiful, yes!"
"Anyway by the way! If envy says it!"
"Squeals! Still my sane! Why do I envy you too!
"Huh! Say you're envious!"
Crescencia pulled Ara's arm closer to her, and said, "Tuh, right, what Icha said. They can't be united, Ra," whispered Crescencia exhaling heavily.
It's not just Crescencia. Ara was long ago also made off guard by the behavior of two friends.
"Stop, you two!" Ara shouted in the middle of the two. Pushing Zikri and Nando's chests together made the two children take a few steps back. His sharp eyes looked at his two friends who still looked tense.
"You boys know, don't you!" snapped Ara which made the two instantly direct a dislike gaze at her.
"As far as you are! If you two don't want a group with me and Icha, mending you both pull me out of my group!"
Crescencia swallowed her saliva in surprise. A little frightened to see that angry Ara. This was the first time he had seen his friend cursing people.
"Well, lash him" said Zikri.
Likewise with Nando who immediately changed the look of his face to be innocent. He threw his body into the empty chair next to him. Picking up the notebook located on the table, then fanning his hot face.
"Okay if you make it," said Nando who immediately published a smile on Ara's lips.
Nando moved from his place. Slightly glanced at the cynical Zikri who was also looking at him in annoyance. Nando moved his legs away, but stopped slightly next to Ara, bowing his head to align his head to Ara's ears.
"Not be angry. It will be beautiful."
Ara's body stiffened instantly. His chest felt tight, as if the air around him disappeared to nowhere. Ara did not even blink within a few seconds. Ara quickly turned her body, staring at Nando's back in disbelief. His lips perfectly lifted, feeling a strange sigh that began to move in his blood.
...🌹...
"So, fix his group's work at my house, seven o'clock mall?"
The three nodded answering Ara's question.
"Don't forget the delicious food!"
Ara instantly glared sharply at the shameless Zikri.
"Well, I prepared food for you!" said Ara fiercely while twisting both his eyes lazy.
"Hey! Don't you know there's a saying that guests are kings?" reply Zikri with a waist rack.
"Look!" tymphal Ara. "But where there is King Kere who beggars kayak lo! There is no king whose face is as thick as a flat doormat!" Crescencia and Nando simultaneously laughed justifying Ara's words. While Zikri immediately hissed annoyed. "Damn it!"
...🌹...
Crescencia lowered her head to reread the room number in her hand, making sure the number was stuck on the white wall again. See the list of doctors listed there.
Once it felt right, the boy was now sitting on an iron bench across the darkened room. All around him was empty and empty. He was the only patient who occupied that row of benches.
Crescencia slightly lowered her head. Feeling his breath begin to feel tight. He gripped more tightly on the bench he was sitting on, as cold sweat began to seep from his skin. Crescencia closed her eyes tightly. Slightly grimaced when the pain in his head came back.
The sound of footsteps from the leather shoes rubbing against the floor was heard echoing. Longer closer. Crescencia remained in position, completely motionless to see who was coming.
"icha! Is that you?"
Crescencia bit her lower lip, the pain grew. His entire body was limp with pain everywhere. His breathing grew as if a huge rock was squeezing his chest.
Seeing no words from Crescencia, the heavy voice was again heard. But Crescencia was not so heard clearly, his head felt spinning no desire. Makes her stomach feel nauseous. His face turned very pale. A few seconds later, Crescencia's collapsed body hit the floor hard. Making the two people there instantly widen their eyes in panic.
...🌹...
Crescencia opened both eyes slowly. White light becomes his welcome. Crescencia turned her head when her ears heard the sound of people talking. His forehead is a little confused. Where is he now? The implied question made his pair of eyes sweep across the room he was in.
"Ischa conscious?" The heavy voice was heard again. Crescencia tried to change her position to sit leaning. Assisted by a young lady who smiled kindly. Real pretty.
The man in his forties walked over. Placing his big hand on Crescencia's forehead. Slightly nodding slightly and then turning to check the pulse on his wrist.
"I'm Doctor Paul, you fainted when I came."
Crescencia. Slightly grimaced when Doctor Paul could read his confusion. Now her gaze turned to the beautiful woman who was writing something on the paper in her hand.
"If that's my assistant. Name's Dara. You call him Brother Dara. He had just graduated the problem," said Doctor Paul again answered the question from the look on the face of Crescencia.
"Doctor Paul can read minds, huh?" guess Crescencia sure as hell.
Doctor Paul laughed. Small snaps in response. His two hands were now busy helping Crescencia to descend from the top of the gurney.
"You were in here on the elevator?"
The head of Crescencia shook his head to answer a question from Doctor Paul. The two now sat face to face at a table near the window. Doctor Paul is seen glaring at the head of Crescencia.
"From tomorrow, take the Icha elevator! You just got home from school. Your energy is not strong enough to climb sixty steps!"
Crescencia's lips are slightly pursed. But he had no choice. What Paul said is true.
Dara handed the paper in her hand to the table. Doctor Paul read it carefully. His right hand that was holding the ballpoint pen moved on it.
"See your medical history list, starting Wednesday tomorrow, please come see me. You have to undergo chemotherapy."
Crescencia's gaze turned nanar. His head lowered with his chest back tight. To be honest, Crescencia has been a little tired of all the routines over the last six months. He was quite tormented by the amount of medicine that entered his body. And also have to feel tremendous pain when undergoing treatment.
"Later you take all the drugs that I have recorded with Kak Dara. Don't forget to rest and don't eat late."
Crescencia nodded small without raising her head. He really wanted to cry at this moment. His body was already too sore to feel the sharp iron puncture that continued to pierce through his skin nonstop. His pair of round eyes stared at the nanar of his two increasingly frail and pale hands. Water drops began to fall soaking his cheeks. Crescencia biting her deep lips strong. Holding back her sobs that were about to come out.
"Icha .., you can't be sad. You can't give up, yeah. I am sure that one day you will be healed" said Doctor Paul as he watched Crescencia's shoulder begin to shake.
"Thousands and even millions of people in this world have the same fate as you. Don't think you're the only one who feels this pain. And Icha should thank God, because God loves Icha so much."
Crescencia nodded small. Both of his hands gently brushed his cheeks. Now his gaze was blankly directed at his pair of shoes that were slightly dirty by the ground. This is his path of destiny. And Crescencia has to accept that. Because Crescencia believes that God is good. There must be answers in all of his life stories. All he needed to do right now was to continue the rest of his life sincerely.
...🌹...
Arriving at home, Crescencia immediately cleaned his sticky body of dust and sweat. His hair that is still wet from shampooing, he let it wither away. A plain sweatshirt with foreskin pants attached to his frail body. His short pair of legs went down the stairs with a backpack that had been attached to his back.
"So you're not home yet, Bi?" crescencia asked Mira by looking at the door of Dika's room.
Mira shook her head slowly. "Not yet, Cha."
"Have called? Icha doesn't have Dika's number."
Mira sighed heavily. "Aunty tried many times. But Dika's number is not active.
Crescencia stared at the door of Dika's room. He again breathed a tired breath. He was made helpless. He did not recognize any of Dika's friends. And he also had no idea where Dika usually went. Crescencia can only pray and wait. Hope his stepbrother comes home quickly with good circumstances.
"Where are you going?" asked Mira who saw Crescencia was about to leave again.
"Icha wants group work at Ara's house. Sent by Mr. Bimo" replied Crescencia.
"Have you eaten?"
Crescencia nodded small. "It has. I bought Soto with Mr. Bimo. Yasudah, Icha go first, Bi." Crescencia. Then move his legs towards the car that Bimo has prepared for him.
...🌹...
"Assynolt...."
"Waalaikumsalam," replied three people simultaneously. They were sitting face to face on a thin red carpet, with a table as a limitation.
"Finally come too! I've been this moss from just waiting for you!"
Crescencia grimaced at Nando's rant. He glanced at the wall clock that showed at half-eight. Thirty minutes less.
"Sorry, it's stuck." Crescencia sat down to join her three friends. He was about to sit next to the zikri, but Nando quickly pulled his hand to sit right next to him.
"I'm sorry to be accepted" said Zikri who was putting chips in his mouth.
"Eh! Don't crack your mouth, dong! Long time ago these setoples chips!" Ara protested by keeping away the jar of chips whose contents stayed a little longer.
"Away, Ra! It's deadly with chips. Mubazir if it's not finished!" Zikri took the jar back. Then keep it in between his legs that are cross-legged. It was impossible for Ara to take it back because it was blocked by a table.
Ara hissing. His gaze was immediately directed at Nando who was embracing Crescencia's shoulder without permission. For some reason, the oxygen around him seemed to thin, to make the child's chest back tight.
"Less what number?" crescencia asked, keeping Nando's hand off his shoulder. Putting out paper and pencils in her bag.
"Nothing seven numbers. We have already taken half of it. And the rest we can't" replied Ara weakly, raising her two achy hands.
Crescencia. He pulled a paper about it. Read it carefully.
"Oh, this ...."
"Lo can, Cha?!" ask them in unison.
Crescencia nodded again. "Let Icha try to do it first."
The others immediately nodded happily. Waiting for Crescencia to work on it. Crescencia slightly shook her head when the three friends fought each other despite only a trivial matter.
"It." Crescencia placed her pencil on the top of her answer sheet. It didn't take ten minutes, Crescencia was able to work on the rest of the problems that her friends found difficult.
"HAVE YOU?!" they shouted in disbelief. Even Crescencia had closed both ears that suddenly buzzed due to the sound of his friends.
Zikri held up the Crescencia answer paper. He read it with purpose. Then pulled by Ara who was also curious how to solve the problem. And lastly with Nando, he was greatly amazed by Crescencia's brain. A little slap for him. Apparently, the tiny person next to him had a watered-down brain!
"Well! That's great, Cha! Eat what the fuck you are!" muttered Ara in disbelief.
"Nasi, come!" reply Crescencia lugu.
"Hm. That might be your advantage, Cha."
The head of Crescencia immediately turned towards Zikri. His forehead is confused. "What excess?"
"Yes, the advantages of lo. From the outside you look plain plus stupid. It turns out it was pinter!"
Crescencia immediately glared in disbelief at hearing that. Coupled with Zikri's very annoying grin.
"Now, Icha also knows what the advantages of Zikri are!"
"What?" sahut Zikri was curious.
"The Exaggeration of Zikri, can sincerely accept the inner birth of ignorance, incomprehension, and mediocre face of giving, Lord.
"Ah, shit, lo!" Zikri nagged not accept. The three friends laughed with satisfaction.
"Icha also knows the advantages, Nando."
Nando stopped his laughter. Looking at Crescencia curious. "What?"
"Nando is still able to survive well, despite dealing with Zikri's people!"
Again the three immediately laughed with satisfaction over Zikri's suffering.
"******! ******!" sumpat Zikri who actually made the three laugh so badly.
"Icha also knows the advantages, Ara!" exclaim Crescencia spirit.
"Before you say, I already know my own advantages."
"Eh...?"
Ara exhaled heavily. Look at his three friends who now make themselves the center of attention. He then opened his voice and answered his statement, with a pause in each sentence.
"Gue has three advantages." Ara raised her three fingers. And lower them one by one in turn.
"First, I'm from a zygote never dabble in a chicken piggy bank."
"Secondly, I've never had ice-flake milo to date."
"And the third ...." Ara hung up her sentence, making the three even more curious.
"My exaggeration is, there has never been a man who returned my feelings sincerely."
" .................."
Instantly, a gloomy silence enveloped the four children.
