With reddened eyes and an upset look, Marvin was still waiting for the answer to the question he was giving. But at once his heart softened when Selva hugged him again and shed tears on his chest.
"No." Selva replied briefly.
Marvin who had melted put both his hands on Selva's shoulders despite not saying a word.
"Tell me what to do then I will follow whatever you think is good." continued Selva who made the jealousy of Marvin who previously controlled his heart more subsided. There is pride in his heart because his figure as a man is obeyed by his future wife.
"Marvin's... Say something, Why shut up, won't you forgive me?"
"E-no." said Marvin who gasped from his daydream.
"no? You don't forgive me?" selva asked as she let go of her embrace and looked at Marvin sadly.
"E-no, I mean no, I'm not mad at you. How could I be mad at you if you put on a face like this?" obviously Marvin while pinching Selva's gaunt cheek.
Selva held onto her cheek that had just been pinched by Marvin. He still stared at Marvin as if he could not believe that his lover was no longer angry with him.
"Why are you quiet now?"
Selva shook her head slowly and immediately greeted Marvin's smile which grabbed Selva's shoulder and then pulled towards her.
"So you said you'd obey what I said, right?"
Selva nodded her head while looking at Marvin who invited her to sit on the edge of her bed.
"All you have to do is marry me and not obey Aunt Hilda's orders."
"But... What if Aunt Hilda keeps demanding that I release Galvin?"
"What can Aunt Hilda do? He can't do anything through Papa."
"Why are you so sure?"
"Because I'm his son, I believe Papa prefers his son as Aunt Hilda chooses her son."
Hearing that Selva was silent calmly although in her heart and mind was still a little stuck about what would happen if Hilda continued to disturb her life by using Selvi as the reason.
"What is Papa thinking?" ask Maria who just entered the room.
The flinched Narendra immediately turned to look at Maria who was now stepping closer while carrying the book in her hand.
"none. You alone, what are you carrying?" Narendra asked back while taking the book that Maria gave him.
"List of invited guests for the wedding of Marvin and Selva." said Maria.
"If there is still less, Papa can add." he continued.
Hearing that, Narendra let out a breath while closing the guest list book. His little heart still feels unwilling to let go of his favorite son to marry Selva who he thinks is not worth it.
"Pa.." said Mary softly.
"E-yeah." said Narendra a little flutter.
"Papa's not thinking about canceling this wedding plan, is he?"
"Can Papa still cancel it?" Narendra asked with a serious look.
"No." said Maria no less serious.
"If not for what you ask. You decide everything. Papa just followed whatever your decision was for your sister."
Mary was silent for a moment to see her father's attitude. But considering his promise to Marvin. To make Mary firm in her stand.
"Now Papa may still accept this by force, but I'm sure, Later Papa will thank me for choosing Selva to be Papa's son-in-law."
After saying that, Maria left Narendra's room.
While Narendra just silently stared at Maria's departure while muttering in his heart what can be proud of Selva who has nothing even has children outside her marriage.
Seriate...
