Chapter 6

Many times Aerin rang the bell of his house but until now none of his housemaids were open. The girl glanced at her watch and only realized that it was now over twelve at midnight.

Aerin breathed a long breath. If it was that hour, his parents did not allow their housemaids to open the door. Aerin is prohibited from entering the house when he comes home at that hour.

Aerin smiled wryly. He took a deep breath and decided to go back to the hospital. Although not so like to sleep together with other doctors in one room, but that's the only best option right now.

"Aerin I thought you were home?"

Nia, one of the general practitioners opened her eyes when she saw the door of the doctor's rest room open.

Aerin who appeared from behind the door made her forehead wrinkle. Because he saw Aerin had gone home, the girl was not on duty night watch so why did she come back again?

Aerin smiled as she walked slowly. Fear of waking others who are already in their dreamland.

"I missed the bus, my phone died and it's midnight, so I'd better sleep here" Aerin said.

Nia was still staring at him but only for a moment. He decided not to care anymore and went back to sleep. Aerin then walked to the empty bed choosing to sleep there.

Early in the morning, Aerin woke up. He cannot sleep well if there are several people in one room. He washed his face and looked for breakfast. His gaze met with Anson when he entered the canteen. The man was eating too.

Aerin closed her eyes deeply. Geez, why can they keep crossing anyway. Why is this guy in the morning already in the hospital? It can't be overtime, right? With his status, the man could get another doctor to change his job at night. Aerin thinks most people don't like the night shift.

The girl waved her hand greeting him kindly. Although he knew Anson would not return to greet him. He was misbehaving because the man kept looking at him.

Is there something wrong with his face? Aerin hesitated. Then choose to go to the place of food collection. I don't know what breakfast the hospital canteen will provide this morning.

From his desk Anson continued to observe Aerin. The man was confused because he remembered that Aerin had returned home by bus last night. But why so early in the morning is the girl already in the hospital, still in the same clothes. Anson memorized the clothes that Aerin wore last night, in addition to his doctor's suit of course.

Is he back again?

Anson broke his daydream and went back to chewing some fresh bread. It is not important to think about the girl. But...

Jeez, Anson does not understand why with his eyes that are always without him knowing even continue to steal the eyes on Aerin. Is he crazy?

Being annoyed at himself, the man got up from it and opted out.

Logan always denied and disagreed and even cut Aerin's words every time the girl wanted to give an opinion. Aerin had to endure the embarrassment in front of several other doctors and nurses who joined the team.

Aerin growled in annoyance. But despite being very upset, he could do nothing. Logan and Anson are friends, of course they will unite against him. Moreover, the news about him was included in the team because nepotism had been spread in the ears of many hospital staff.

Aerin looked at Laras, the female doctor who likes to look for problems with him with narrowed eyes. From the outside the woman looked innocent and kind, but Aerin knew she was a very cunning girl. He must have started all the rumors. It used to be that way in college.

At first, Baras treated him very well. But upon hearing Aerin was handpicked by professor Dartan as his student and about to be awarded a full scholarship, Laras felt disbelieved and envious of even doing everything possible to bring him down. He pretended to be a good angel who got unfair treatment because of Aerin.

In the campus everyone always compares Laras and Aerin. He said Laras was an ordinary but kind girl, while Aerin was beautiful but her brain was rotten, doing everything she could to get whatever she wanted.

Aerin was already happy when he graduated and got his new job. He thought he would not meet Laras who likes acting to seek the sympathy of many people again, unfortunately he again had to be patient because it turns out he met again with Laras in the same hospital.

Aerin is not the type of girl who likes to accuse people haphazardly, but because there is so much that Laras has done to her to accuse her of plastic surgery or whatever, Aerin was very confident that Laras spread the news.

Aerin did not understand why he was recommended by the director of the hospital. He glanced at Anson sitting inside there. The man's room was separated from them but because the barrier was Aerin's glass, he could still see the man's face clearly from his desk.

Come to think of it Anson is the director's son. Or maybe that guy again asked for help his dad put his name on the team? Aerin felt confident in his opinion. Maybe Anson wants revenge on him again because he deliberately made him join this team.

Don't think of Aerin

Aerin quickly threw his face in another direction when he realized Anson was looking back at him. The girl pretended to be busy looking for something but her head instead grabbed the table as she lowered her head down. Geez, he must have looked really stupid in front of Anson. The girl lamented her own stupidity while stroking her painful head.

From inside his room, Anson realized someone was watching him from out there. He smiled slanted when he saw that Aerin might have noticed him since.

Why else with that girl? Still like him? I don't know why Anson's confidence came up. Aerin used to be so crazy about chasing him. He was unable to resist his laughter seeing Aerin who was drunk and looked wrong behavior was even grabbing his own table.

Stupid idiot

All this time Anson knew it wasn't just Aerin the only woman chasing him. Even in America there used to be many of his college friends who chased him but he was never interested. He's not interested in dating, that doesn't mean he's gay. He just hasn't found anyone who fits.

After many years he was not affected in the slightest by the name of a woman, Anson so surprised himself why when he met again with Aerin he became very affected by all the movements of the woman.

Is it because he hasn't forgotten his hatred just yet? Is correct. He'll think that way. He's not going to fall in love with that girl, is he? Anson kept convincing himself.
