19. Back But Things Have Been Different

'Is this Heaven?'

That's what Hyunjin said after opening her eyes and seeing the dark sky full of stars, it was beautiful. Hyunjin tried to change her position to sit but her whole body was in pain.

'What in Heaven should also feel this kind of pain? Have I not calmed down and died in peace?'

Hyunjin stared at the stars in the sky and digested her words just now about peace.

'Ahh stupid me! Talking about peace? The stupid revenge of defeating Daimont alone I can't! Sorry Clarisa, I can't keep my vows!"

Again Hyunjin moved her body. "Why do you still have to feel pain like?" Hyunjin cried out hysterically, she felt her life was always full of pain and convoluted, even she herself did not understand her life.

"Ah you seem to have regained consciousness? I guess it'll take a few more days?"

Hyunjin immediately turned her gaze to the side. He found the same young man as him, only he slightly panuh the wounds of the sword incisions on his cheeks and forehead. The man's face was very familiar to Hyunjin.

"Grandfather Tang Jhu, grandfather looks young in the afterlife. What does the afterlife make the old come back young?" Hyunjin immediately recognized the man who was none other than Tang's grandfather who had taken care of him in the modern era world.

Tang Jhu who had been smiling warmly immediately tried to become alert, even her intention to approach Hyunjin also came to a halt. "Little boy how do you know my name is Tang Jhu? Who're you?"

Hyunjin frowned when Tang Jhu called her a child, surely Hyunjin was already 30 years old. Hyunjin immediately examined his body, sure enough that his once burly and large hands were now shrinking even thin. His large, broad legs are now shrinking.

"What the fuck? Why did I become small!?" Hyunjin screamed loudly while holding her head that was starting to hurt, she did not understand what had happened to her now.

The previously alert Tang Jhu now turned into a worship, immediately she hugged Hyunjin's small body for Hyunjin to calm down. Tang Jhu was well aware of the state of this little boy she was holding, stranded in the sea alone, it was certain that the other family died in the middle of the Blue sea. Moreover, the sea was famous for the ferocious sea.

This hug, the hug that Hyunjin misses so much, this hug often gives Hyunjin warmth in times of grief and love when Hyunjin was a child. Subconsciously Hyunjin regained her composure in Tang Jhu's embrace. After Hyunjin started to calm down, Tang Jhu immediately gave Tang Jhu the drinking water that Tang Jhu had brought in a bamboo bottle. This drinking water supplies Tang Jhu as well as red ginger water that is very nutritious.

That night Hyunjin could not fall asleep at all, trying to find answers to what had happened to her. While Tang Jhu also did not fall asleep due to guarding Hyunjin, she was afraid that Hyunjin would scream again like that.

'What does this mean? Why I'm back to being a 7-year-old. Ahhh .. My head would break thinking of this!'

Tang Jhu looked at Hyunjin who was busy examining herself. While Hyunjin kept thinking hard about what happened to her.

'Am I given a chance to fulfill my vows?'

'But why am I back to 7?'

'Aarrggg! I can break my head thinking about this!'

'OK well, if I am given the chance to change destiny again and fulfill my vows then I will!'

Hyunjin looked at Tang Jhu who immediately smiled warmly with her. That smile was the smile that Hyunjin longed for, Tang Jhu the grandfather who had taken care of her in the modern era world. Tang Jhu's grandfather was the substitute figure for Hyunjin's parents in the world.

"Young man, can you tell me why you got stranded at sea?" Tang Jhu began to ask Hyunjin as Hyunjin had started to calm down as usual.

Hyunjin scratched his head. "I don't know Grandpa" replied Hyunjin slowly as she began to look down.

'Wait first! If I go back to 7 years old, I should be in the modern world!? Not in this fantasy world! What's the matter? Has one destiny changed? And made me born in a fantasy world not modern.'

'It seems like this young man has forgotten his memory, it is unfortunate that your fate is young.'

Tang Jhu approached Hyunjin while stroking her head. Hyunjin raised her head and looked wistfully at Tang Jhu. "Young man, I don't look old yet do I? Then why do you call me Grandpa? I'm 34 years old and I'm not married yet." Tang Jhu switched the conversation earlier, afraid that Hyunjin would return sad.

'But you are my grandfather in the modern world.'

"I'm sorry Uncle Tang Jhu, for calling you Grandpa." Hyunjin lowered her head in respect, Hyunjin was very appreciative of Tang Jhu who had cared for her for 14 years.

"It's okay young man. Oh, what's your name, young man?"

"Hyunjin Uncle," replied Hyunjin.

"Jin'er, Uncle will call you Jin'er." Tang Jhu again rubbed Hyunjin's head slowly.

'Uncle, don't you remember me?'

Hyunjin simply nodded slowly at Tang Jhu then turned her face to the right side. Hyunjin was ashamed of being treated like this, although she missed Tang Jhu very much but was treated like a child like this while her soul was a 30-year-old soul, it could be said to be the same age as Tang Jhu even though Tang Jhu was a few years old.

Tang Jhu started asking Hyunjin the ins and outs of Hyunjin, and Hyunjin answered her by lying. He lied that if he came from Melodi village, he lied that he could be stranded at sea from jumping from a ship because he wanted to be sold into slavery. Since it was impossible for Hyunjin to tell her everything in her true story, there would later be Tang Jhu to assume that she was not sane.

Tang Jhu who heard the explanation of Hyunjin felt very sympathetic, Tang Jhu so could not bear to leave Hyunjin alone on the beach like the idea this afternoon. Tang Jhu intended to take Hyunjin to the hamlet of Red Bamboo and live with her.

'It's a pity for this young man.'

But there was a hint of Tang Jhu's shock upon hearing Hyunjin's explanation. Hyunjin explained with an enthusiastic tone without any sadness or crying, because usually a child of the age of Hyunjin if telling about such an incident must cry vibrating with fear. As for Hyunjin she very casually explained it without any fear.

*****

The next morning Tang Jhu invited Hyunjin to go with her to her residence if Hyunjin wanted to. It turned out that Hyunjin wanted to come along with Tang Jhu, actually Hyunjin also did not know if she joined Tang Jhu if anything happened later. Tang Jhu was very happy that Hyunjin wanted to come along with her, so they set out on foot to leave the village of Perak Beach to the Red Bamboo Hamlet.

During the trip to Tang Jhu's residence, Tang Jhu always paid attention to Hyunjin. There was a sense of awe in Tang Jhu's heart when he saw Hyunjin who was so excited towards her residence, whereas Hyunjin had just received a calamity and she should have been sad and uninspired.

"Jin 'er. The journey to the hamlet of Bamboo is not close. It'll take 2 days from here to get there, don't you mind if we walk like this?" Tang Jhu felt uneasy seeing Hyunjin continue walking these 1 days nonstop through the forest paths, hills and several rivers.

Hyunjin shook her head while smiling at Tang Jhu. "No Uncle, Jin'er doesn't matter."

Tang Jhu smiled, the little boy with Tang Jhu always managed to make Tang Jhu surprised. It's been 1 day they walk non-stop, children the age of Hyunjin usually always complain or whine walking so far.

"Jin 'er. In front of it will be the village of White Bata. We'll rest at the inn later."

'The White Brick Village? What is this village? Previous Red Bamboo is now White Brick? The name of this village I never heard of at all.'

Hyunjin turned to Tang Jhu, she was very curious as to what she had in mind, had anything changed with fate. "Uncle, can Jin'er ask?" Hyunjin.

"Please Jin'er. What do you want to ask?"

Hyunjin looked back to the front, for a moment she thought about telling her question so that Tang Jhu would not suspect her. "Uncle, Jin'er is too young, Jin'er has never walked this far. May Jin'er ask how many countries are in power now?"

Tang Jhu was surprised, Tang Jhu thought Hyunjin would ask about what kind of lodging they would later occupy, or about other things about comfort.

"Jin'er in this world there are 4 countries in power. Tang, Wei, Jiu, and Destopia. The eastern part is the Imperial State of Tang, then the western part of the Kingdom of Wei, while the central part is Destopia, and the northern part is the Jiu Empire" Tang Jhu explained.

'I thought there was a previous destiny that changed! There were 6 countries in my first life, and all the rulers were kingdoms. I'm really confused right now!'

"Do you understand Uncle Jin'er's explanation?" Tang Jhu asked because Hyunjin was a few minutes silent like she did not understand.

"Ahh .. Understand Uncle. Uncle explained it very well, Jin'er really understands uncle," Hyunjin replied with a stiff smile.

"It's good that Jin'er understands." Tang Jhu smiled at Hyunjin, whereas Tang Jhu thought Hyunjin would not understand about something like this.

"Uncle can I ask you one more time?"

"What is Jin'er? Ask," replied Tang Jhu who began to be enthusiastic.

"Now what country are we in, Uncle?"

Tang Jhu chuckled softly. "Did Jin'er not know?" ask Tang Jhu. Hyunjin just flanged up to make Tang Jhu start to get anxious with her. "We are in the imperial state of Tang," Tang Jhu replied.

'Tang Empire? What is the leader like.'

After that Hyunjin went back to silence, she wanted to think logically. He kept wondering where the 6 countries in his life used to be? Zero Kingdom? Maxhi Kingdom? Ice King Kingdom? The Blue Flash Kingdom? Gold Kingdom? Rain Kingdom? Isn't this the previous 6 countries in Hyunjin's life. Hyunjin remembered very well, there was no country like this in his first life.

After a long journey, Tang Jhu and Hyunjin finally arrived at the White Bata village. The village is quite crowded and clean, a lot of life in this village. And of course there are some nobles who roam this village with the soldiers.

Hyunjin looked at the activities of the residents in White Bata village. Unlike the past, this village looks prosperous compared to the village in the first life of Hyunjin.

"Uncle, did uncle know Fang Wan?" hyunjin asked as they had already entered the inn room that Tang Jhu had rented.

Tang Jhu stopped her footsteps, then turned to look at Hyunjin. "Jin'er do you know Prince Fang Wan?" Tang Jhu asked back.

Hyunjin fell silent, she just realized that she had asked one thing wrong. Hyunjin racked her brain looking for an excuse so that Tang Jhu would not misunderstand.

"No Uncle, it's just that Jin'er often heard his name. What's prince Fang Wan's temperament like Uncle?"

Tang Jhu sighed softly then took a sitting position on the edge of the wall. "Come here Jin'er." Tang Jhu called out to Hyunjin, and her hand moved to call out to Hyunjin.

Hyunjin walked up to Tang Jhu and sat down before Tang Jhu.

"The name of Prince Fang Wan is indeed often heard lately. Uncle thought Jin'er knew him." Tang Jhu looked at Hyunjin who was shaking her head.

"You want to know Jin'er?"

"Yes Uncle."

"Prince Fang Wan was a very talented prince in Jiu empire. Prince Fang Wan was the descendant of the elder from the ice village, not only handsome but he was also strong. Currently, the role of Fang Wan is nicknamed the talented young man, his age is not much different from Jin'er. About war?" Tang Jhu paused for a moment.

"He's a little sloppy and innocent. Sometimes his stubborn nature made his grandfather Tang Hao growled." Tang Jhu continued while looking at Hyunjin who was chuckling.

'Look at that sloppy boy! Nothing has changed from its nature! He's still the same as I know him, reckless and stubborn. Fang Wan how are you now? I hope you still remember me.'

"Jin'er is there anything funny?" Tang Jhu frowned confusedly seeing Hyunjin who was chuckling indistinctly.

"Ahh .. no uncle. Jin'er only felt curious about Fang Wan's prince," Hyunjin replied with a stiff smile.

"Maybe one day you'll meet Jin'er."

Hyunjin simply nodded softly in agreement with Tang Jhu's words.
