32. Tang Empire

From far away Hyunjin saw a dim lantern light. Hyunjin smiled slightly, she was sure she had reached the gate towards the Tang Empire. It's dawn now, around 5 o'clock.

Hyunjin felt a little tired, from noon yesterday until dawn, he did not stop racing his horse as fast as possible. And now he had been close to the entrance gate to the Kaisaran which would make him imagine about the time of rest. Even though Hyunjin was already strong and took some stamina pills, still she felt a little tired she was also just like any other human, needing enough rest for her body.

Hyunjin dismissed his horse, as 2 large bodyguards crossed 2 of his spears. Ban Hyunjin from entering without inspection.

"What do you need to do come to the Tang Empire?" ask one of the guards.

"I want to meet Emperor Tang," replied Hyunjin flatly.

"What need?"

"Do I have to tell you?" Hyunjin raised her eyebrows while smiling sideways at the 2 bodyguards in front of her.

"If it has to be, why not?" reply the guard slightly snapped.

Yun Shu who was asleep immediately woke up, he rubbed his two eyes while tilting his head to see what commotion was in front of him.

"Hyunjin what's wrong?"

"They won't let me in" Hyunjin replied as she looked at Yun Shu who was staring at her.

"Daughter of Yun Shu?!" the 2 bodyguards exclaimed in excitement as they watched Yun Shu emerge from behind the youngster in front of him.

"Why don't you let him in? Do you want to be punished by Emperor Tang?" Yun Shu averted her gaze staring at the 2 bodyguards in front of her.

2 The bodyguard opened the gate immediately, not knowing that Yun Shu was behind the young man.2 The bodyguard let Hyunjin inside and bowed respectfully. In the mind they were also wondering who the youngster was with princess Yun Shu. And where is Deputy Mark?

Hyunjin and Yun Shu walked together towards the throne. Hyunjin was able to guess that man must have been Emperor Tang. Emperor Tang's face was quite handsome, his body was also very stocky, and he also had long white hair. Hyunjin was also able to guess the man was in his 40s and above.

"Uncle Tang." Yun Shu ran over to the man sitting on the throne while whining like a child.

"Shushu's? You have arrived? Where's Deputy Mark?" Emperor Tang's voice seemed to gently deceive his face which looked a little rosy from his voice. Emperor Tang also smiled warmly welcoming Yun Shu who was running towards him.

Tang Zhou was the real name of Emperor Tang. However, Tang Zhou was more famous as Emperor Tang.

Surely the ministers, generals and dukes in the room were hard to believe, they were sure that Yun Shu's daughter was exaggerating about the young man named Hyunjin.

Everyone stared at Hyunjin like a probe, is it true that princess Yun Shu said or not? But seeing the young Hyunjin and her still slightly thin body made them hesitate to believe.

"I've listened to you Shushu, now go get some rest. You must be so exhausted, right? The rest let Uncle take care of."

"Did Uncle trust me?" Yun Shu stared blankly at Tang Zhou, and Tang Zhou replied to him with a nod.

Yun Shu left with the 2 female servants. But before Yun Shu left, Yun Shu had told Hyunjin not to be afraid of Emperor Tang, because Emperor Tang was actually a gentle man to anyone. Hyunjin simply smiled as she nodded hearing Yun Shu's explanation of Emperor Tang.

After that stay Hyunjin himself in the middle of the room where the people around him still look at him in disbelief and investigate.

Tang Zhou sat back to his throne while staring at Hyunjin.

"Young man, I've heard all the stories from my nephew. I believe my niece is not lying or adding," Tang Zhou said flatly.

"What Yun Shu's daughter said was indeed Emperor Tang. He's not lying one bit." Hyunjin lowered her head in salute to Tang Zhou.

"Emperor, are you sure of what princess Yun Shu said?"

"Yes the Emperor, I think the princess has overestimated it?"

"True Emperor, look at this young man. How could he possibly defeat Danzo's brother from Daimont?"

"True Emperor."

"I agree with the Emperor."

Several calls of denial Yun Shu's story started raining down on Tang Zhou and Hyunjin. Hyunjin did not bother them much to believe what not, which is clear now the purpose here must be conveyed.
