One week after giving birth, Scarlett's condition began to improve. Although she still had to sit in a wheelchair due to paralysis, the woman was eventually allowed to go home.

“Ma, I think I'm going home to Mama aja yes, Kenzo seems to not care about me anymore,” Scarlett said softly.

The woman who had just given birth to a son was sad because no husband or child welcomed her return from the hospital. She wasn't even as brave as she used to be to get her rights as a mother. Scarlett couldn't help but tell her mother-in-law that since she was pregnant, she had never loved Kenneth, because what Kenzo's mother had said was true.

“Scarlett, do you want to talk to Kenzo first, who knows she will allow you to stay with her again,”, said Mrs Melisa who tries to be a wise mother.

As a mother, of course Scarlett's mother felt sad because her daughter could not get together with her husband and child. In fact, Scarlett's current condition is indeed very sad.

Scarlett just had an accident. She had to deliver her baby surgically and now her legs are also paralyzed. At times like this, the woman should have moral support from those around her, including her husband. Unfortunately, Scarlett didn't get it because of her own deeds.

“Ngak, Mom. If Kenzo cares about me, he'll come. Maybe he was busy looking for a new mother for Kenneth,”, said Kenneth's mother resignedly.

Scarlett no longer thought about the fate of her relationship with Kenzo. She is well aware that Kenzo married her only for Kenneth's sake and that the man also never put his love on her. Then, with her condition no longer perfect, there was nothing Scarlett could be proud of anymore, and it made her feel like she would never be able to get back together with Kenzo.

“Are you ready to part ways with Kenneth and Kenzo?” madam Melisa asked as she gently rubbed her daughter's hair. The look on his face looks so beautiful that Scarlett's mama did not have the heart to see the fate of the princess who had fallen on the stairs.

Scarlett gave a bitter smile. He has no right to hope anymore. During his hospital stay, Kenzo only occasionally looked at him, and when their son was taken away, he never saw him again, only occasionally texting Scarlett.

“I've been dumped, Ma. Mama don't see, I'm paralyzed? I'm not a good mother to Kenneth either. I can only hope that Kenzo can find a good woman to be a mother, Kenneth continued,”, said Scarlett who then covered her face with both hands.

The woman cried bitterly regretting what had happened. But it all started because of his own stupidity. Scarlett's heart was only filled with hatred and envy for her half-sister, to the point that she forgot that she was also lucky to have a husband and in-law who always cared about her.

“I've been mean to Sheren, Ma. Maybe it's punishment and karma for me. Now I can only regret that Kenzo and Kenneth will never milk back to me.”

Scarlett's crying sounding bitter in the ears, even her back to the point of shaking violently made someone who had been watching her so feel pity.

The big hand started rubbing Scarlett's back making the woman feel the movement of her hand. Just the moment it made Scarlett turn her head and pay close attention to the face of the man who was standing behind her.

“You want to separate from Kenneth? You don't want to learn to carry him?” ask the man who is Scarlett's husband.

Kenzo had secretly come to the hospital after receiving news that the woman who was still his rightful wife had been allowed to go home. She did not deliberately visit Scarlett during her treatment because she wanted to give space and time for Scarlett to think again about her actions during this time.

Kenzo rubbed Scarlett's tears and looked at the woman he had been forced to marry. He then took a chair and sat down beside Scarlett who was still not getting out of her patient bed.

Seeing her son-in-law and daughter who seemed to need privacy, Scarlett's mother asked permission to leave them both. The woman hopes that Scarlett and Kenzo's relationship can be better after they speak from heart to heart.

“You want to go home to your mom? Don't want to go home to see Kenneth?” asked Kenzo while gently rubbing Scarlett's head which now looks more haggard.

Scarlett looked at the husband's bead that made her feel sad. The woman did not expect that her husband would come to visit even though he was now allowed to go home.

“Are you going to take me home? You didn't evict me from that house after Kenneth was born?”

Scarlett didn't want to be so big-headed as to think Kenzo had come to pick her up, even though it was actually the man's goal.

“Aren't you still my wife? Why would I drive my mother out of my son, Scarlett? I just want to give you time to think things through. Are you ready to change for Kenneth?”

Kenzo himself did not feel himself to be the truest either. He realized that he was actually also very guilty, which is why Kenzo wanted to improve himself with Scarlett who he had already married.

Clear water slid back on Scarlett's cheeks. Although she does not love Kenzo yet, she is very grateful if the man is willing to take her back.

“I'm not a perfect husband either, Scarlett. But, looking at Kenneth, I know he needs you most, his birth mother. I don't want to be selfish, because I also want to give a whole family to our children. You want to go home with me, see Kenneth?”

Scarlett nodded while holding back a cry. Her tears that continued to melt made the woman unable to hide the happiness mixed with gratitude she was currently feeling.

“Still, Kenzo. Thank you for giving me a chance,” Scarlett said in between her sobs.

Kenneth, mama will see you. I'm sorry my mother separated us. I don't want to be away from you anymore, honey.
