"Mia, did I hear that Mila's grandmother is sick? What happened to him?" aldrich asked who was suddenly there making Mia frown.

"Where do you know that?" asked Mia curious, she did not understand how the man could find out the state of the grandmother when he himself just received news from Bertha this morning.

"I-I just happened to want to visit Grandma, but one of your neighbors said that Grandma fainted and was taken to this hospital. So I came here immediately" Aldrich replied, explaining at length how he knew that the girl's grandmother was ill.

"Thank you for your concern, but I don't know for sure how Grandma is doing" Mia told the truth.

"Oh, like that. I hope nothing bad happens to Grandma" Aldrich said sincerely, since knowing Mia the man had often visited Grandma Mila to see her condition.

"I hope so, too," Mia answered looking at Erik who was walking towards her. Looks like the man's conversation with the doctor is over.

"What did the doctor say?" mia asked curiously, the girl directly pointed at Erik with a question as soon as the man approached her.

"Grandma was exhausted, she had too many thoughts" Erik replied, saying what the doctor said, though not entirely true. He does not want to make his lover more anxious if he knows the true condition of Mila's grandmother.

"Thank God if it's like that, you should go in to see grandma," said Via advised Mia to first see the state of grandmother Mila.

According to Mia, the girl immediately entered the room to see the state of the grandmother who was currently lying weakly on the hospital bed.

"You must be Mrs Pratama!" greeting Aldrich reached out to shake the hand of Via who was now in front of him.

"You~"

"Include me Aldrich Kenningstoon, I am Mr Mahendra's business partner" Aldrich said, introducing himself to the young lady.

"Mr Mahendra?" tanya Via is not sure to mention his last name which is the name of the grandfather who is now gone.

"Oh, I mean Mr. Jordan, Madam's cousin," errat Aldrich tried to explain to Via to understand.

"It's nice to meet you Mr. Kenningstoon" said Via.

"If I may know, what need have you come here, sir?" erik asked Aldrich, as if to show that Aldrich's presence was not expected for now.

"Sorry sir, I just want to visit Mila's grandmother and it seems that Mia doesn't mind my arrival either" Aldrich replied casually.

"But your presence was not expected of Mr. Kenningstoon!" erik said slowly, he deliberately approached Aldrich so that only the man heard his words.

Aldrich clenched his hands tightly, the man was offended by what Erik had said, but because this was a public place, there was also a Via among them, making Aldrich hold back his emotions and try not to serve Erik.

"This is a public place, so anyone has the right, sir," Aldrich replied, not to be outdone, although the two spoke in a quiet voice, but the aura of hostility emanated by them was caught by Via who was standing not far from the two men.

Although Erik was not willing to follow the orders of the Madam, the man left the hospital to pick up the Young Master at the Via residence.

"What's wrong with you guys?" ask Via to Aldrich as soon as Erik leaves them.

"No Madam, maybe your assistant doesn't like my whereabouts," Aldrich replied covering up what really happened. He knows that Erik's dislike for him is due to Mia's problems. Aldrich also knows that at this time the girl has become Erik's lover and honestly he also does not intend to seize Mia, although he himself still can not change his feelings for the girl.

"Where's Erik Aunty?" asked Mia who had come out of the room where Mila's grandmother was being cared for. The girl immediately asked the lover so as not to see Erik's presence there.

"Aunty asked Erik to visit Uncle Ziga," Via replied in response to Mia's question as she was.

"Mia, can we talk for a second?" aldrich asked taking the opportunity when Erik was not on the girl's side. He was worried that Erik would forbid Mia to talk to him if he saw the man's slightly possessive attitude towards the girl before him now.

"You talk! Aunty went inside to see how Grandma was doing" said Via, giving her a chance to talk and not to interfere with the young man's problems.

"What's Aldrich?" mia asked when there were only the two of them outside the room.

"What about my offer?" Aldrich asked back not to answer the girl's question.

"Offer?" questions returned from Mia's mouth because she did not understand what Aldrich meant.

"About internship opportunities in the company" Aldrich replied explaining the direction of their talks. She hopes that she can work for her company. Besides Mia is smart, she also hopes to walk the opportunity to get to know the girl who made her curious.

"Oh, that problem. I have applied for an internship at your company," replied Mia honestly, she did intend to intern at Aldrich's company which has been helping her college through the scholarship program held by the company.

"really?" aldrich asked half in disbelief, because he had not received a report about the submission of Mia's internship process.

Mia nodded in response to Aldrich's question, the girl was indeed just waiting for a call from the man's company.

"Why didn't you just ask me?" aldrich asked, "That way I can immediately accept," Aldrich said a little regretful because Mia did not ask him for help so that the girl was easier to enter his company.

"It could be that way," Mia said, disagreeing with Aldrich's remarks, the girl did not want to take shortcuts for the work she was about to take.

Although he knew Aldrich, but he did not want the man to interfere which should not. Mia prefers to go through the formal path by applying for a CV to be able to intern at an Aldrich-owned company. He wanted to be accepted because of his quality not because he knew Aldrich as the owner of the company.

"Why not?" aldrich asked not to understand why Mia did not want to help.

"I want to be accepted because I deserve to be in your company, not because I know you," Mia replied, giving Aldrich more admiration for the young girl.

It felt more difficult for Aldrich to erase his love when he so admired Mia's mature and learned attitude.

If only there was a chance, inner Aldrich.
