CHAP 30 - War

After a few days of preparation, finally the holy empire declared war to the 'Rudhloft' empire'.

The Holy Empire's army consisted of ordinary soldiers and holy knights summoned from their respective kingdoms. Also the troops from the kingdoms around the empire were willing to help to destroy the 'Rudhloft' empire'.

On this day, the 12th, the 3rd month, the year 785 Doxa. A very great battle took place between the Empire'Edoryhia' and the Shinelight Empire.

Housed in the 'louloudi' meadow'. A very large and beautiful meadow. But now, the place had been filled with the red blood of the warriors.

A few days after the first attack, on the right wing. It looks like a woman wearing white armor and decorated with gold. With a white sword in his right hand, he slashed at all the enemies that were in front of him.

Some soldiers obeyed his orders and filled the area so that the enemy could not penetrate.

Red blood flooded his body and the pure white armor was covered with blood red. And his sword continued to slash the enemy to death.

His hands did not stop to slash, and after a while. The fierce battle was over with a victory from the Shinelight Empire's side.

And the general who led the army was none other than the woman who continued to stand on top of the enemy's corpse.

Named 'Rikka Kyouka". With her silver hair illuminating the battlefield and her red pupils, her eyes were feared and respected as [War Maiden].

"Report General!, the enemy has surrendered and the fortress of krystopet has been taken over!!" shouted one of the soldiers.

"Good, for now you rest first before being summoned to the main headquarters!" Rikka.

"OFFICIAL!!" Shouted the whole army.

The troops dispersed themselves.

And it looks Rikka who is taking off her armor helmet. And showed her a pretty face that could intoxicate an entire city.

Rikka got off her horse and walked to the tent that had been prepared. He opened his armor one by one. And look very beautiful curves and very smooth skin.

He walked towards the bed in the corner of the tent and in front of him, he saw a fairly large table.

He took something in his bag and put it on that table. It was seen that it was a map showing the current state of the battlefield.

It was seen that the frontline battlefield was overwhelmed and forced to retreat. However, the south and west had managed to break through and take over the border fortress.

And it appears that the eastern part is uncertain of its state. The North is still at war.

"The situation is starting to improve here, but the most important thing is the back line that was attacked by a parade of monsters from the forest" he murmured.

"Food supplies won't be enough to survive here and we can't leave this fortress just for food supply. Also the enemy could take over this place at any time".

Suddenly the voice of the people came from behind the tent and said...

"Report, the food section has arrived!" said it.

"WHAT?!" Shouted Rikka while running and opened the door of the tent.

"Yes general!" he said while turning his face because he was embarrassed to see the body of Rikka which was no longer covered in armor.

"Hmmm, suspicious." said rikka while holding her chin.

"You bring some troops and check their luggage, we don't know if they're enemies or not" Rika said, pointing to the troops who were still ready to fight.

"READY GENERAL!" Said the soldier while turning around and running to meet the troops.

"I'd better get ready if there's an attack" before finishing his words, an explosive sound was heard by rikka.

"WHAT?! ENEMY ATTACK?" Shouted wonder.

"ALL PERSONNEL!! PREPARE TO FIGHT!!! WE'RE UNDER ATTACK FROM THE ENEMY!!" Shouted rikka while running towards the tent and entering it.

It is seen that many explosions and troops are fighting. Rikka immediately gave her command and joined the fight.

On the other hand, on the front line. Night was coming, and the troops were resting in their tents.

In a tent, there were some old men talking about something and in front of them, there was a large table with a map on it.

Suddenly, a soldier came and opened the door of the tent and said..

"Report, the food supply from the rearguard troops has come!" said it.

"Kill them with water magic" said one of the men in the middle.

"Ready- eh? what?!" the soldier was astonished.

"That's the enemy, you gather some magic troops and attack them. Don't forgive them" he continued.

"AH?!, READY COMMANDER!" He said, turning around and running.

"They really used a lot of cunning ways apparently" said one of the men.

"Of course, they would use any cunning means in order to win"

"Yes, that's right. Especially after being found out to have a relationship with the devil" he continued.

And a while later, their estimation was correct and the enemy had been wiped out by water magic. And it was seen that they were carrying a bomb that was ready to be detonated.

In a place not far from the battlefield. There was a black human who was observing the state of the battlefield.

That figure is the devil. And it was seen that he was observing the frontline battlefield from the top of a very large tree.

In his hand, there was a purple crystal and it was shining brightly in the darkness. And the devil said..

"Hmmm, this is still not enough. They should have killed many more humans with their terrifying magic" he murmured.

And a few moments after the sound of the explosion was heard. The crystal held by the demon started to shine brighter. And the demon on his face looked very happy about it.

"Come, come on, kill more khekhekehe" he said happily....

Returning to the right wing, it is seen that Rikka has overcome all enemies. However, many of his troops were killed in the attack.

Rikka clicked her tongue because she could not think further and made her army suffer very heavy injuries.

And after a while after the attack from the enemy. The injured troops were instantly treated with potions and healing magic.

Inside a tent, there was a woman who was writing something while looking at the map in front of her.

She is Rikka who is planning a strategy and trying to calm herself down so as not to make the same mistake.

The morning had come, and it was seen that the sun was already overhead.

In a room, a woman is seen sleeping on the bed. And beside him, there was a man who was drinking something

The man was Micah who was looking at the beauty of nature outside the window. And it was seen that the birds were chirping happily on top of the branches of the tree.

He turned around and saw Raphlea sleeping on the bed, and said...

"Hmmm, maybe tomorrow I'll take off the sleeping magic I gave her. It may be enough to rest" he said as he approached the bed.

" Detach [Sleep] magic "At once, A firefly-like light appeared from inside Rafhlea's body and flew free, after which it disappeared like it never existed.
