Once again because they were both best friends and close friends, Chalissa could always guess Hanny's expression and feelings. Before Hanny sewot the same to him, Chalissa first explained her feelings to Brady who was just a friend.
Hanny is a close person and trusted by Chalissa. So Ansel often asked her for help if it was related to Chalissa.
