Sekar walked slowly out of the side door of the kitchen to the terrace where Sham was with his father.
Seen once if Sekar hesitated to step out. Suddenly he stopped and Salim, who was behind him, was shocked.
"Astaghfirullah, Mom! Sorry Mom, I didn't know you stopped!", said Salim stroking his chest because he accidentally hit Sekar's back.
"That's nothing mang!", said Sekar faltered.
"If you don't want to see them, you just take a break!" said Salim unpleasantly.
"I have nothing to do Mang!", replied Sekar. And with all his heart, he went out to the terrace where Sham was talking to his biological father.
"Mom!", said Sham when he saw his mother's arrival. Sekar actually shook a little, especially he still quite remembered when Helen said she was afraid if Sekar took Glen from her.
As she approached Sham, Helen and Glen stood up. They both greeted Sekar with clumsy faces.
How does Helen feel? Her husband had sex with the woman in front of him even though they didn't know each other at all?
And Sekar? He faced with the legal wife of the man who had abused him until the presence of the figure of Sham?
Glen himself? He felt guilty for the two women he hurt. Perhaps true, Helen was naturally jealous because of her past deeds. But isn't Sekar the one who's really hurt here? Pregnant because of being harassed, severe depression, and maybe many other sufferings that Sekar felt but Glen did not know.
Sekar nodded thinly greeting the couple. I heard the breath of Helen. Helen admits, Sekar is beautiful even though he is older than Helen. They even look the same age.
She waited for what her parents would say. But until a few minutes passed, no chatter was heard.
"Mother is here, Auntie is equally willing to talk what?", asked Syam breaking the silence.
Salim had offered to accompany Sekar out, but in his sense he was a nobody and was very self-aware, he returned to the kitchen after making sure Sekar sat with Sham.
Now raising her head, she twisted the tip of her hijab irregularly.
"Mother!", Sham grasped Sekar's hand gently. He looked at the son.
"Ngga anything. Everything's fine. Yes?", Syam tried to calm and strengthen his mother.
Sounds more likely, but someone who has a trauma will certainly be difficult to make himself back to normal like other people in general. Dan, believe me! I've been trying to do all of that.
Just slowly nodded. Helen felt pain in the corner of her heart. As a fellow woman, she was sure that Sekar must have been very depressed all along. But ...Helen just adds to her inner pressure.
Glen looked compassionately at his son's biological mother, if only at that time he was convinced to account for his actions to Sekar. Maybe the storyline won't be this complicated!
"I'm sorry for being so prejudiced by Ms Sekar!'', Helen said without further ado.
Sekar looked up for a moment to look at a beautiful woman who looked charming and of course the treatment is not cheap.
"I've made my own fears, as if Bu Sekar wants to snatch my husband!", Helen said in an increasingly soft voice.
"I have no intention at all to seize Mr. Glen from Ms. Helen. It is precisely I who fear if you bring Sham from me!", said Sekar with a trembling voice.
"Mom, Sham is not going anywhere! Sham will always be the same mother!", said Sham while clutching his shoulder.
"I really want to be close to Syam, Bu Sekar. But I also won't keep Sham away from you."
There is a sense of relief in Sekar's chest. His son will stay with him.
"We, really apologize profusely Bu Sekar. I hope our relationship improves after this. Really, I realize I've been hurting you all this time. Maybe an apology won't be enough!", said Glen.
A moment of reflexes. He no longer knew what to behave like, Syam was still the son of Glen. That is indisputable! However, it takes time for them to adapt to different conditions and situations.
Sekar remains an innocent lava, which does not want to interfere with the household affairs of others. He no longer wants to be the cause of the quarrel between the couple.
And he hoped, this was the last time he got this big trouble in his life.
"Mu Sekar is willing to forgive us?", asked Helen. Just slowly nodded.
Spontaneously, Helen rushed to embrace the mother of Sham with sobbing. Syam chose to step aside from the side of the two adult women.
Glen was moved by the sight before him. Everything is like a dream! Is all the trouble over after being at this point???
"Yes, then!", said Sham.
"Mom, Sham want to play kite first! Here's the notebook, Syam nitip ya ma'am!", said Syam asking permission.
"Yes, son, don't go home too late. Later we will go to the hospital again", Sekar replied after breaking his embrace with Helen.
"Yes Ma'am, five o'clock Sham's coming home!" said Syam seeing his wrist look at the circular watch.
As if forgetting the existence of Glen and Helen, Syam ran to his friends who gave a kite for him.
Syam's charming smile came out while joking with her peers her age. Glen looked at the back of Sham who was away.
"Strong, where does Sham usually play kite?", asked Glen still looking at the back of Syam.
"Not far from here, near the hill to the left of the gate!", replied Sekar. He didn't know what to call Glen.
"Ma, can you take Sham there?", asked Glen to Helen. Helen also nodded.
"You guys talk first yeah, papa go there for a second!", said Glen and passed leaving the two beautiful women.
Glen was a little rushed to find out the whereabouts of Sham. Though he could see when the new Sham arrived there with his friends and laughed loosely.
Glen slowly approached them. If a moment ago Glen saw how mature his son was when helping the work of Galuh and Lingga, in his eyes now Sham looks different.
No matter how mature Syam, the child is still a child who still has a soul filled with the desire to know and want to play.
"Syam, who was Brother? How different was it yesterday?", asked Deni to Sham.
Syam smiled faintly.
"No. He...my father!", said Sham.
Glen was moved to hear Syam admit he was the father of Syam in front of his friends.
"really? Wow... deservedly, his face looks a lot like you Sham! That's why I used to be surprised, your mother's face is our rich local. You are rich and there are Arabs. No wonder anyway, papa you handsome rich Arab prince heheheh!", praise Deni honestly.
Syam smiled faintly. He admitted that his father was handsome. And somehow he had to inherit the good looks of the papa.
"Heum...!", muttered Sham.
"Did Ms. Sekar divorce ya from your father so he just met you during you moved in this village?", asked Deni.
Glen was quite surprised to hear the question from the Sham friend. Is Sham going to tell his friend the truth?
"Chicken!", call Glen before Sham answers Deni's question. Syam also turned to his father who now looks much younger because of his appearance who no longer wears a formal shirt. He was wearing a black inner shirt.
"Papa's kok is here?", asked Sham astonished. Glen aligned himself with Sham who stood with Deni.
"Papa wants to play kite as well, same Sham...sama.....?", Glen hung his words while glancing at Deni.
"Eum... Deni, sir!", said Deni. Glen chuckled at Deni calling her master.
"Call the father Sham, or Om can too!" said Glen. Deni smiled broadly.
Glen grabbed Sham's shoulder with one hand and the two looked at each other.
"Papa wants to play, same papa boy!" said Glen. For some reason, the lips of Sham lifted by itself. The handsome boy smiled at the words.
This isn't a dream, is it ???? Inner Sham.
