"I'm sorry? Apologizing is easy!", said Galuh slowly but felt painful for Linga.
"I know, my mistakes are too many, Luh."
"But you still intend to apologize?", Galuh asked without looking at her husband at all.
Now the Linga, leaning back on the shoulder of the bridge, stood beside Galuh.
"I know, it may be hard for you to forgive me!", continued Lingga. The handsome man looked at Galuh with a look.
"Give me a reason to forgive you!", said Galuh lowered his head while staring at his feet that moved indistinctly because honestly Galuh was only afraid to hear the explanation of Lingga which would hurt him even more.
"I wasn't KKN at the time, I was done with college. It's just, I want to follow along like any other student. And yes, that's where we found."
"After I say good-bye to you and say I'll come back to you, it turns out my dad asked me to go to college in Canada after the wedding of Om Glen and Aunt Helen, Zea's parents. Papa threatened to revoke all the facilities I had at the time."
Linga paused his explanation. To be honest he felt claustrophobic about explaining Galuh. But at least, he straightened out the truth.
Galuh smiled wryly.
"I know I was wrong, I didn't think long back then. All I thought about was how I could succeed and not rely on my papa anymore. By going to college there and also continuing our family company there with my brother."
"Papa picked up my phone containing your number. I don't even know what social media you have, Luh. How am I going to tell you??!"
Galuh still silent listening to what Lingga explained.
"Eight years there, I've started to be independent. I don't depend on my dad anymore. And I decided to come back here, looking for you and mom!", said Lingga while looking at Galuh.
"Do you think those eight years were a moment?", Galuh turned to her husband. Their eyes looked at each other.
"No, eight years is a very long time!", replied Lingga.
"You know that! Do you also know what I have been through while waiting for you to fulfill your promise.??" asked Galuh with teary eyes. And without a cue there was a small spot of melt on the girl's cheek.
The phallus will touch it, but Galuh dodged it.
"You hung my status? Okay, maybe it's 'free' siri marriage! But didn't we agree to keep that bond from the beginning? Then why did it happen like that? I know, we married without love. But that doesn't mean you're free to treat me that way. I know, I'm a poor man!", Galuh complained.
"I don't think that way gauntlet. What I said about my studies abroad, it's true. Two days ago I just arrived here, got off the plane I'll be heading to your house in the village. Even I took the time to stop at the club that has brought us where you also just finished visiting your house Luh?!"
Galuh took a deep breath while closing his eyes.
"Right you tell me, what have you been through as long as I'm not here?", asked Lingga. I looked directly at her husband.
"What's important to you? You who? Is it not clear that more than six months a husband does not support his wife that means...."
"But I would never say that word Galuh. I won't!"
"For what? There are no feelings between us. I just feel burdened with my status hanging, because of you. As a formality, leave me!"
Linga shook. Then holding the shoulder of the tall girl was only a phallus.
"We are officially married!", said Lingga confidently.
The eyes of the two stared at each other. If Lingga stared expectantly, not with Galuh who looked at her husband in disappointment.
