Down Bed Castin & Cleona

Down Bed Castin & Cleona
Chapter 14 ~ Living Segan Dead Reluctant

"I agree, do whatever it takes for Cleona to heal," Castin said desperately, closing his eyes, until a clear circle slid free without him noticing.

During his life, divorcing and giving Cleona to his own sister was the hardest decision Castin made.

But Castin couldn't do much. Losing his life would do for Cleona, let alone only hurt himself, by divorcing his newly married wife.

"Please promise me" said Harles.

"I promise to divorce Cleona after she recovers!" castin just one breath.

"I keep the big brother's promise" Harles replied and then re-entered the operating room. Leaving Castin who immediately dropped his body onto the hospital floor.

I don't know how many hours of time have passed, but Castin is still sitting in front of the operating room. Without eating or drinking. Lunch and dinner he passed by, no one dared to ask him. Including Assistant Helder who is always loyal to his side. Nana has been moved to her ward.

Castin's current appearance is a mess. Eyes narrow with blue netra was swollen, her hair was no longer neat as usual, her face was dull and unkempt. There is no longer a handsome prince Castin like a disney prince, who is just a Castin who lives a life of unwilling death.

Not twenty-four hours without Cleona, but Castin's been that broken. It is inconceivable what a Prince Castin Afson would be if he lived without his wife forever. Can he survive?

Chequek!

The operating room door is open, two gurneys are at once pushed and moved to the icu room for recovery.

Castin immediately got up and asked, "How about, doctor?"

"The operation went well, sir."

Castin heaved a sigh of relief, then ran towards the icu room. Castin entered with a doctor, seeing his sister and wife lying weakly on the gurney, making Castin unable to hold back tears.

"Why are the tools on Harles' body more?" ask Castin curiously. After all, Harles was still his beloved sister.

The doctor was silent for a while, then replied, "It should have been so, sir. Handling and care for donors and recipients is slightly different."

Castin believed unsuspectingly, "When will the two of them come to their senses?" castin asked as he looked at Cleona's pale face. Actually, entering the room is not allowed. Because Castin was a Prince, he was allowed even though he was forbidden to touch and only allowed to see from a specified distance.

"Mr later, Miss Cleona and young master Harles will be transferred to the inpatient room, likely to wake up tomorrow. But, both still have to be treated and monitored for his condition, at least for the next week," he explained.

Castin was happy to hear that, although when the wife recovered later, she would make a very heavy decision in her life, which was to divorce Cleona.

Castin also took the wife to arrive at the inpatient room, precisely adjacent to the inpatient room of Anna and queen Diona and king Skylos.

"Master,"call Assistant Helder while holding out some food for Castin.

"Put it down first" replied Castin, not moving from his place. He was still sitting on the chair next to Cleona's gurney. Castin continued to look at Cleona blankly.

"But, taun—"

"Get out!" expel Castin. Assistant Helder was forced out of the room.

The day changes twilight, the evening changes, the night changes the morning. But, Castin still remained in his original position. For two days he did not touch food or drink. Her face was paled, even paler than Cleona's.

King Altan tried to persuade Castin, but did not bring results. He knows what happened, but he can't do much. Castin and Harles are both his favorite sons. The king is always in the middle.

Comparing Harles to Castin was only a way for Harles to change.

Queen Diona accompanies the newly transferred Harles from the ICU. His condition had just improved after it had gotten worse. Such is the affection of a mother, no matter how bad her child does, a child is never bad in the eyes of her mother.

Harles' sacrifice in saving Cleona, deserves the praise of a mother who loved him dearly. Harles was lucky to have a mother like queen Diona. Who still defended the son, at a time when the rest of the world only looked at the bad side of the good done.

"How, Doctor? Why hasn't my wife regained consciousness?" ask Castin who is already like a robot. Body and expression are very stiff. If he does not look carefully, he will no longer be recognized.

"Everything is good, sir. She should have been conscious" the doctor replied, examining Cleona.

"But why not?" insist Castin with his flat expression.

A split second later, Cleona's fingers moved slowly. Castin looked at her, he was smiling happily.

When Cleona opened both eyes, Castin ....

Bruk!
