Chapter 25 ~ Happy Cleona, Sister

The Flashback

In a prison. Nope. More precisely, in a prison sense an apartment. A handsome man with blue eyes was in pain watching a video showing his beloved brother, vowing to make a sacred promise with a woman he knew so well.

Harles Afson, a man diagnosed with acute heart disease due to alcohol, smoking, and stress because he is always compared to his brother who is smart in everything.

In order to hide his illness from the rest of the family, Harles always indulged, eventually languishing in prison. Prison was his favorite place, where no one would demand him to be like this and that. Only in prison can Harles feel true freedom.

Satisfied by the video that destroyed him, Harles immediately contacted his brother, asking his beloved brother to pick him up and get him out of the elite prison.

When he got home, Harles' body trembled as he watched the beloved woman lying weakly unconscious on the floor. Who else would it be if it wasn't Cleona Chaves. The girl who filled his heart for almost two years, and never accepted his love. Even so, Harles still hopes that one day Cleona will be his, even if it is only for a moment.

Seeing her brother so worried about Cleona, Harles moved quickly to help open the elevator so that her brother could freely move to bring Cleona in the hospital.

At the hospital, Harles is overwhelmed at the sight of Castin's older brother worrying about Cleona. It was the first time Harles had seen the older brother completely destroyed. Harles realizes that his brother loves Cleona very much.

When the Doctor says Cleona needs a donor as quickly as possible, Harles comes forward and offers her kidney to Cleona. But, Harles asked for conditions.

"I'll donate my kidney to Cleona, as long as Castin's sister divorces me and hands Cleona to me!" That was the sentence Harles said firmly.

Very contrary to the content of his heart that actually said, "Allow your wife call me HUSBAND, Brother. After that I'll be gone FOREVER."

It was not without Harles's reason for doing so that he knew his life would not last. Before leaving, Harles only wants to grant one dream in his life, which is to be Cleona's husband even for a moment. It was his decision, anyone could not stop him, including his mother and father.

After Cleona called her husband, Harles left with tears streaming down her cheeks.

The door to Harles' room slowly closed again, his face lowered deeply, his tears flowing down. Her love for Cleona was so great that she chose to die rather than live without Cleona.

As he looked up, Harles saw his brother standing before him. Castin looked at the sister with his sad face, which brother was not destroyed after knowing what really happened to his beloved sister.

Seeing Harles' flowing tears, Castin also cried. He loved Harles, his mischievous sister, and never obeyed anyone. Even so, Castin knew his sister had a broad heart.

"Not happy to see her happy with her sister, I made her suffer with me. Forgive my selfishness, brother." said Harles quietly in a trembling voice.

"You deserve it, you deserve it. Your sacrifice for her is incredible, Harles. Brother is proud of you. You are the best man, don't go. She only deserves you" Castin replied, not realizing that Cleona loved her too.

"Sister is wrong, Cleona loves Big Brother very much. My sacrifice is meaningless with the love Cleona has for Big Brother. Her struggle to survive and willing to do anything for the baby d, it all makes Cleona deserve to have a sister. During my time with her, I never saw her happy for a second. Now it's time to be happy. And that happiness he will only get, when he is with the man he loves, namely brother. I'm taking Cleona, brother. Take care and be happy, he has suffered a lot" said Harles took a step forward with his face that began to turn pale.

"Don't do this, Harles. You deserve Cleona, not brother." continued Castin.

"But Cleona deserves to have a big brother, because her love is only for big brother, not for me....
