Chapters 30. Towards a new beginning

A week ago, the car sold.

I have been looking for a job for a week. The job I liked had disappeared and could not be reunited with the union of the gesrek driver in the terminal.

At noon today, the private car Dendi rented entered our tiny yard. He told me to put my luggage in.

I began to say goodbye to my father, mother and son. It feels really heavy. But I have to face it

The car started to go. I looked at my family until I was invisible again.

We had to get to the city and take a bus to the port. Yes.we will go to the island of Sumatra by passenger boat. The journey takes about 12 hours.

Tomorrow morning we will reach the city of L on the island of Sumatra. That's why Dendi bought a ticket that was the departure time in the afternoon.

In the morning, we arrived and were able to rest longer.
