ELENA: The Quiet Girl

ELENA: The Quiet Girl
9

That afternoon the weather was a little tolerant, Elena could come visit Lili now. He asked permission to bring his beloved cat Plori to the apartment to accompany him.

Elena used a black jacket to avoid the cold afternoon breeze, her hair she let unravel. For some reason from the start of the departure of Vienna Elena did not like to pigtail her hair.

"I like new things."

That's what's always ringing in his mind. Elena did not care, now she was getting used to the unraveling hair.

In the middle of the street, Elena saw someone drop his apple from the basket. It was like having trouble getting things into the trunk of his car.

Elena took the apple, she put it in the basket.

"So it fell down" said Elena, a woman looking at Elena. The two looked at each other with faces that were both shocked.

"Huh-hello, Elena. Long time no see," she said kindly, Elena gave a small nod.

"Hello too, Kellie."

Kellie smiled clumsily, she could not believe the person she met was Elena. Honestly, the girl standing in front of him looked very different. Elena used to pigtail her hair, wear a white flower pinch every day and smile all the time.

Now that Kellie looks like a complete stranger, Elena doesn't say much. His gaze was also very different from before, Kellie knew all this was indeed the fault of her sister, Erlen towards Elena.

"Where are you going?" kellie asked, Elena remained silent for a moment before replying.

"Home," she replied briefly, Kellie was speechless.

"I'm first sister" said Elena, walking away from Kellie who still did not believe what she had just met.

"That's really you who made it that way?" this time Erlen got out of his car, it was enough for him to play hide-and-seek.

"Yes, it's my fault" said Erlen, both of them staring at Elena's back who was starting to move away.

"It must have been very painful, the most fatal mistake is when you hurt someone to make him turn one hundred and eighty degrees" Kellie muttered, Erlen could only lower her head.

"I'm not sure Len, if Elena will forgive you later," this time Kellie's words really make Erlen again lament her mistake.

"I know, I know that," pressed Erlen, he got straight into the car.

Kellie just shook her head, her sister had already completely become like a criminal. Hurting one's feelings is the same crime as killing slowly.

It was fortunate that Elena belonged to a strong girl, otherwise it was impossible that this time the girl had already stayed a name.

Elena knocked on the door of the house whose size could be quite large. It was Lili's house, the one who used to nurture her as well as change the position of mother.

The door opened, he saw a middle-aged woman who still looked fresh and beautiful. The woman was of course Lili, she immediately hugged Elena tightly, as if she did not want to be released.

"Have you been okay lately?" lili asked worriedly, both of her hands rubbing Elena's cheeks, the girl gave a small nod.

"Ah, thank goodness. I'll never forgive myself if anything happens to you" continued Lili, she immediately let Elena in.

The two of them sat on the sofa, Lili was very happy with Elena's arrival. Eri the husband is currently out making him lonely because of himself.

"You used to talk a lot" Lili said with a chuckle, Elena just smiled a little.

Lili was indeed a little worried about Elena's change which was quite far from before. The girl who used to always ask anything that made her brain curious is now just silent without asking anything more.

"But since graduation, you've been quieter" said Lily again, understanding that maybe Elena's friend Vienna left her alone, making the girl shut up.

"I like new things, madam," Elena replied, lili gave a small nod and smiled.

"You're free to determine anything, it's your life, but don't let you choose it wrong" she told Elena, the girl nodding back

Elena knew what was good and what was bad. He was already big, plus the memory that returned it made him know the true meaning of life.

"I,- actually my memory is back," Elena said, Lili was surprised instead of playing, her two pupils dilated.

"Since when? Why are you keeping quiet? You should have said this important thing to me, "Lili kept throwing questions, Elena was silent for a moment. He felt bad for covering up what Lili said was big.

"Sorry, my memory goes back to the two days I lived in the apartment. At that time I couldn't do anything, the reaction of my head was very painful," explained Elena, Lili still put on a worried face.

"And I know who my mother is, my father. They didn't throw me away, only the economy forced them, but if they still remembered me as their daughter, they should have been looking for me in the past" Elena explained, leaving Lili speechless, lili understood why the always cheerful girl was silent and closed there was a real reason for her memory that again made Elena frustrated.

"Thank you very much, madam."

Lili hugged Elena, she knew the girl still needed her embrace at all times to calm down. Elena always looks tough in front of Lili, as well as in front of others.

The girl seemed to look fine, the way to cover it was absolutely perfect. Elena could be said to be the biggest liar because her way of covering was perfect.

"I always pray to God not to meet my parents again, enough memories that hurt my heart, not the person" said Elena, Lili still hugged Elena tightly. Sometimes he kissed Elena's temple.

"God will do his best, Elena. Don't worry" said Lili soothingly.

Both of them took off their hugs, not a single tear came out. Lili knew the girl must have held her back for not wanting to show her inner weakness.

"I'll be back," Lili's face was sad, she wanted to be with Elena even longer.

"Don't you just stay?" lili's proposal, Elena shook her head.

"Tomorrow from school, I don't want to continue to burden the mistress anyway" Elena said, Lili shook her head quickly.

"Absolutely not, it is precisely your existence that I become happier. I always thank God for meeting me with you" Lili said, smiling with relief.

He knew Lili was very sincere to him but it was Lili's relatives who did not like her existence. When visiting Elena is always expelled because she is often associated with bad omens.

At that time Elena was too small to respond to the words of Lili's relatives, but now she understood all that, from the beginning her existence was not accepted.

"Thank you for everything, I really don't know what to reply with" Lili smiled, a smile that contained meaning.

"You're everything to me, seeing you happy is enough for me."

Elena walks with Plori, the cat looks happy to be invited to walk to her new home.

Plori used a special harness, in the cage constantly bored the cat, even the animal ran fast making Elena have to match her speed.

"Slow down, Plori," Elena said, the cat doesn't care, and she runs to make the rope in Elena's hand come loose.

Elena was surprised, she ran after Plori who was constantly running without direction.

"Hap, relax. You have to obey your owner" said Erlen stroking the white cat that had hit his leg.

Erlen looked at Elena who was walking closer, the girl looked exhausted from the actions of this white cat.

"You okay?" erlen asked, Elena nodded small.

"This cat just got out? Until it got out of control because it found the outside world," Erlen asked again, Elena nodded again.

It's true that Plori was always inside the house, Elena never took her out for a walk making the cat even more wild when outside.

"Let's go home, Plori," Elena carried the white cat, she carried the cat's special backpack just in case. Plori put it in and Elena carried it.

"Meow."

"It looks like she doesn't like the inside" Erix guessed, Elena doesn't care. He did not want to run after the cat again, plus many vehicles passing by, he was afraid Plori was hit if a little he let his guard down.

Elena stared at Erix at a glance, after she walked away from Erix who was still smiling, the man felt sad because he was always ignored.

Erix had been waiting for Elena there before, believing she would return. Erix knew Elena lived alone in the apartment, for some reason what made the quiet girl want to live alone.

Erix got into the car, she drove it fast.

Elena reached the apartment, she closed the door and pulled out the plori. "This is your new home, from now on you will accompany me here."

Plori was confused, he might need time to get to know his new room. The cat ran here and there, Elena just smirked her smile. Seeing a beloved white cat is one thing to relieve her pain, although not all, but Elena is happy.

Night had arrived, Elena was eating noodles at the place to eat. Occasionally he glanced at the sleeping plori on the living room sofa, a smile etched on his lips.

"No more loneliness, now there's someone to accompany," Elena said.

Tomorrow Elena will buy a special cat food, she just brought a little cat food left from Lili's house.

After she finished eating, Elena approached the plori, kissing the cat. "Good night, plori."
