TGM Chapter 7

Sheina exhaled a rough breath after hearing what Devan had said. As a woman, of course, he wants to get married to Devan who has liked him for four years. However, many were a burden on Sheina's mind. One of them is Gabriel. What if Gabriel is not accepted by the Devan family, like his biological father who kicked him out after knowing he was pregnant out of wedlock.

"We'll talk later, sir."

"It's lunchtime now, Shein." Devan stared at the watch on his wrist. "If you don't want to talk here, let's talk at the restaurant instead" Devan suggested, turning off his laptop and taking Sheina out of the room.

Upon reaching the lobby, Devan and Sheina meet Davin. Davin examines Sheina's face which makes him curious about the girl's relationship with Bara.

"Why look at Sheina like that?" asked Devan who was annoyed at the way his sister looked at Sheina.

"It's okay, it's pretty. Where's the brother going?" ask Davin.

"Lunch, will you come?"

"No, the courtship time' is followed."

Davin returns to his room, while Devan and Sheina go to lunch outside.

Bara came to Davin's room in a hurry.

"He hasn't been out for lunch, has he? Where's the room?"

"Apaan sih lo Bar. I told you, Sheina's my brother's future wife."

"Gue just wanted to talk to him, Dav. Ask the news and apologize doang," said Bara who is now sitting limp on the sofa room Davin.

Davin, who saw his best friend as pathetic, finally tried to help him. He suddenly called his brother while Bara was still welding.

"Whose restaurant is he?"

Bara stared at the astonishment of his friend who called just to ask the name of the restaurant.

"Don't spit it in his face, it's like the homeless don't have a house. Nih, Sheina again at this restaurant is my sister." Davin handed me the address he had written when he called Devan.

Bara leaves Davin's office with a mixed feeling of happiness and fear. He drove a car to a restaurant that was not far from Devan and Davin's company.

Bara immediately looked for a safe position that could hear and observe Sheina without the woman knowing. He sat alone at the front desk not far from the entrance. Sheina's slightly inclined position behind her made Bara able to freely observe the woman.

"Devano. As a parent, of course, grandma wants the best for your future wife. In terms of seeds is good, he is a respected family child. In terms of bebet, right now he is very far below us. Especially in terms of weight, although educated, but he is not moral." Grandma Devan said everything that made Sheina sad.

I am still confused as to what really happened. Sheina suddenly said goodbye, crying. Devan prevents her, but her grandmother also holds Devan in to let Sheina go.

Finally, Bara who had not ordered anything went straight out to her car while waiting for Sheina to exit the restaurant.
