Chapter 9

Kevin and Erick came with orders. After that, the two sat down with Calista, Friska and Rania.

When Calista wanted to take his order food, Kevin suddenly prevented it.

"This one is mine, because this one is too spicy" said Kevin because he knew that Calista did not eat foods that are too spicy.

Kevin gave Calista food and drinks. "It's lo."

"Thank you." Calista enjoyed the food.

"Vin, my brother has a crush on you" said Friska.

Kevin's expression was ordinary, because he often heard if anyone liked him.

Calista let out a small laugh, seeing Kevin's expression as if fed up every time he heard that.

"Lo why laugh?" confused Erick.

"Kevin's expression was funny. Usually others are happy if someone has a crush. But if it's Kevin, he's kind of bored every time he hears a girl who likes him."

Erick smiled because Calista was right. "If I were Lo, Vin. Maybe every day I'll change my girlfriend."

Hearing Erick's words, made Calista overthinking. Because her boyfriend is handsome, she thinks that Reyhan will do the same. Especially with his photo with women, it proves that Reyhan really cheated on Calista.

"Boy is not enough with a girl?"

Feeling male, Kevin and Erick automatically turn to Calista.

"having to. If for example the girl is beautiful, certainly will not be cheated. Whereas if the girl is ugly, the guy must be cheating again" Erick said.

"Not really. As I know, now many men who cheat with ugly women. Though his girlfriend is very beautiful," said Friska.

"Oh yeah, guys. Go home from school to play at my house yuk," asked Calista, then his four best friends simultaneously replied that they wanted to play at Calista's house.

Calista and his friends gather in the parking lot. They agreed that they would drive Kevin and Erick.

"Calista, you get in my car. While you both ride in Erick's car," said Kevin.

Calista got into the car and Kevin got into the car.

"Ta, he said they'd go to the supermarket first. So they told us to go to your house first."

"Oh yes."

Later, Kevin drives his car to Calista's house.

Calista's phone rang and he immediately looked at his phone screen to see who was calling him.

And it turns out the person who called him was Reyhan.

Calista was lazy to answer. But because he missed the voice of his lover, he finally answered the phone.

"Dear, I'm sorry for lying to you. Actually last night I wasn't home, but I was out with my friend" Reyhan said.

"Why come out with girlfriends?"

"So she asked me last night to find a gift for her boyfriend, so I'll take her."

Calista was a little relieved to hear the explanation from Reyhan. But somehow Reyhan seems to know that Calista is angry because Reyhan left with women.

"Don't be angry anymore, 'cause that chick's just my friend. Besides, I'm also never angry if you play with your boyfriend," Reyhan said.

"Yes, I won't be angry anymore."

"Well, if I hang up, I want to go to a friend's house."

The conversation between Calista and her boyfriend ended. Since Reyhan had already explained everything, so Calista was not angry with him anymore.

"Vin, that same girl last night Reyhan said her friend. Said his friend asked Reyhan to find a gift."

"Masa? I can't believe it" said Kevin, because he saw that she was hugging Reyhan.

"Why not believe?"

"So I saw that girl hugged Reyhan when she was piggybacked."

Calista became worried, not knowing who he should trust. Moreover, both of them were very close to Calista, so he was confused as to who was telling the truth and who was lying.

"Kok you talk like that." Calista felt shunned.

Arriving at home, Calista and Kevin get out of the car and they get into the house.

"Hallo, Auntie!" greet Kevin.

As Kevin was about to greet Calista's stepmother, Calista quickly withdrew Kevin's hand.

Calista accidentally takes Kevin to his room and he tells Kevin to wait in the room.

Calista went back to his stepmother. "Please make some food!" his orders. After that, Calista walked up to Kevin and sat down next to him.

"Ta, why the hell? I'd like to salaman with Mamah lo, kok lo pull me."

Calista remained silent without answering Kevin's words.

"Why? you're marahan with Mamah lo?" ask Kevin.

"That's not my mom, my mommy's dead."

Kevin was silent for a moment, he just knew it. "sorry. I don't know."

Calista breathed. "Don't tell anyone else about this."

Calista's goal is to keep this a secret because he does not want his friends to pity him because Calista does not have a mother.

"Your stepdaughter is evil, huh? how come you hate him."

"So far, he has not shown any signs that he is evil. But I'm sure he'll show his true attitude."

"If it turns out he's really good how is he?"

"I don't like it. Because because of him, papah's attention is no longer the same as me."

Kevin looked at Calista with a sad look as if he felt sorry for Calista.

"Don't look at me like that! I don't like it!"

A few minutes later...

Calista told Kevin to wait in the room. After that, he immediately came out because surely his friends had come.

Arriving outside, Calista allowed his friends to enter the house.

"Where's kevin?" ask Erick.

"In my room."

"The two don't mess around in the room?" ask Erick.

"Yes, it's not."

Arriving at the room, Friska and Rania immediately fell asleep in bed. As for Erick, he was sitting on the couch with Kevin.

"Ta, your parents aren't home, are they?" ask Rania.

"Their father is no more, for he is busy at work."

"If Mamah lo?" ask Rania again.

Calista was silent for a moment, then she glanced at Kevin. "There's. He's cooking in the kitchen."

Suddenly Madame Calista came with a tray of food and drink.

Kevin and Erick swiftly helped put food and drink on the table.

"Thank you, Auntie. Sorry to bother you," said Kevin.

"Not a hassle." Stepmom Calista smiled.

"Lo's face looks a lot like Mamah lo" Rania told Calista.

"Yes it looks like! his name is also son and mother" Friska said.

To be honest Calista hated when there were people who called it similar to his stepmother. But since the person who said that was his best friend, so he preferred to hold back his frustration.
