Chapter 43. Inner Torment

When everyone was watching Dominic holding Amanda. There was Lucas who turned out to be tailing at the man's step.

"Tuan—"

Just saying that word, Dominic who was already very memorized by the voice of his assistant immediately cut in a jolting tone. "Just brush it down, clean that chair!"

If Dominic was angry, of course Lucas could not argue. Eventually he stopped following the master's steps, and let the man take care of Amanda alone.

Upon arrival in room 2069, Dominic is about to lay Amanda down on the bed, but the girl immediately holds her back, "Don't!"

"Why? You need to get treated right away, I'll call my personal doctor" Dominic replied with gasping breath.

"No need, I'm fine anyway" Amanda refused in a weak voice, but was able to ignite Dominic's emotions.

"No need how? Don't drive me crazy just because I'm worried about you" Dominic unconsciously told Amanda. The man's reaction was completely unexpected.

Because Dominic's heart continued to pound loudly, voicing such excessive worry.

"I'm not hurt, sir," said Amanda, but that still hasn't brought Dominic any calm.

"But you're bleeding. What's the name if it's not hurt, anyway why are the others silent, don't they see you in need?"

Seeing the frustrated Dominic somehow Amanda wanted to smile. However, he held it off because he did not want to offend the man.

Amanda was bowed down, for she was sure that after this she would bear endless shame. "They're busy and I—just menstruate. It's my first day, so my stomach hurts."

"What's? Menstruating?"

Amanda nodded immediately, while Dominic began to think what menstruation was. And he just remembered, if a woman will experience such a time once a month.

Dominic let out a long sigh, as if to find a relief he immediately laid Amanda's body on the bed, no matter if the bed would be dirty.

"Aren't you disgusted?" ask Amanda.

"You don't think you're heavy? I carried you from downstairs, " replied Dominic, who was already able to control his emotions.

Amanda's lips immediately cut down, she thought Dominic would answer "I don't care, because all I think about is your situation!"

Hey, looks like Amanda's starting to dream too. God, he feels like his brain is in short supply right now.

"Now what should I do?" dominic asked after covering the girl.

Amanda is silent because she is not sure Dominic will comply with her request. However, the man's gaze continued to urge, causing him to be forced to say, "I need a sanitary pad."

"For what? You said you weren't hurt?" after Dominic, his voice rose again because of Amanda as if toying with him.

"Haish, a menstruating woman does need that thing."

Amanda doesn't think Dominic understands anything about anything to do with a woman. Did Dominic previously live in the forest, until sanitary pads for women come months just don't know?

"Well, I'll have Lucas buy it for you."

Without waiting for Amanda to answer, Dominic immediately contacted Lucas. As a boss, his call was certainly in the first place, "Lu, I need a pad."

Lucas immediately frowned, "Slayers? What for, Mister?"

"Not ask much. Just obey all my orders!"

"The ordinary ones or the wings?"

After turning off his call to the assistant, Dominic is busy fiddling with his phone. Without asking Amanda, the man was trying to figure out what a man should do when his woman was on the moon.

"You don't have to call the doctor" said Amanda, who guessed Dominic was trying to reach his personal doctor.

"I didn't call anyone" Dominic replied. Then he came out of the room, not knowing where to go.

Amanda could only frown and again feel her stomach twisting. He did not expect, if there would be an incident like this at his internship.

After a few minutes, Dominic again came with a bowl filled with warm water and a towel to compress. He sat down by the side of the bed, while Amanda could only watch what the man was doing.

"Open your clothes!" dominic's word made Amanda tick.

"Open clothes? Don't be so rude, sir!"

"Hey, he said that if your stomach is compressed the pain will improve. So I'm trying to do it."

"But I can't possibly open it in front of you!" ketus Amanda, it's crazy if Dominic sees the deepest part of his body. Even if it is for his good.

Dominic took a long breath. Not wanting to argue, he also raised the blanket up to Amanda's chest.

"Lay it on your stomach. I can't possibly see it. If it feels cold give it to me again," Dominic said, handing over the small towel he had wet it.

Obey, Amanda immediately took over the thing and put it down as Dominic requested. Today the man really looks painstaking to take care of Amanda.

Until he bought new clothes, so Amanda should not be ashamed. However, what makes Amanda inexhaustible, Lucas actually bought all types of pads in the mini market.

The girl could not comment, as it seemed that neither her boss nor her assistant understood the woman.

"I'll take you home" Dominic said after Amanda woke up. Half a day he spent resting, as Dominic forbade him from working.

"But I want to take my bike. How long has he been I've lived here?" reply Amanda, remembering her two-wheeler.

"Think of your safety, as a boss I don't want anything to happen to my employees!" dominic said, not accept rejection, but with frills.

Amanda thinks that what Dominic said has a point, too. After all, he still felt weak. So, there was no more reason to refuse the man's offer.

Amanda is escorted back by Dominic until she arrives at the apartment. However, just as he was about to take Amanda, Saga suddenly came and took over the girl's body.

"Let me do it," said Saga, making Dominic instantly flinch in his place. While Amanda was the one who went wrong.

"Ah, sir, thank you for driving me home, tomorrow I'll definitely be back to work" Amanda said, breaking the sudden silence.

Dominic only nodded at a glance, and his gaze again floated towards Saga. A hostile look. However, Saga does not respond, he continues to help Amanda to climb into their apartment unit.

"You sick? Why didn't you say?" saga asked, but Amanda shook her head.

A scene that again torments Dominic's inner self.
