Amanda arrived at the mansion in the afternoon. As soon as the car stopped he went down and went inside the house. His steps were so wide steal the attention of Gloria who was home first.
"Man!" call Gloria shouting, but the owner of the name did not turn his head in the least. Even impressed to run until the girl reached his room.
"Man, what's wrong with you?" ask Gloria who was chasing Amanda. It was obvious that the nephew was crying. It was evident from Amanda's reddened eyes and nose. However, the girl was still trying to hide it.
"I'm fine," Amanda replied briefly, but Gloria was not satisfied.
"Man, don't lie!"
"I just need some time alone" Amanda said in a voice. He couldn't bear to spill it all anymore. Without waiting for Gloria's reply, Amanda immediately closed the door of her room, she threw the bag with the origin and took herself to the bathroom.
Under the shower, Amanda's tears just broke. He deliberately did it all, so that no one would know that he was hurt.
"What am I really crying about? Isn't all his words right? From yesterday I always avoided that I didn't like it. I don't want to be in touch with him either. Why does my heart hurt now? Why?" ask Amanda to herself. He was stunned with his body sitting limp on the floor.
"I should be happy, I shouldn't care, I should stop thinking about it. Not even like this!"
Amanda thrust her ten fingers into her wet hair. As if he was feeling a great heartbreak, his feelings were completely shattered right now. Especially considering Dominic who just left without caring about it.
"Do I look evil now for letting you fight alone?"
"No!" Shouted Amanda answering her own question. "You should listen to my explanation first. You shouldn't give up, you can't just give up on Daddy." With lips that shake violently. He again sobbed with a face that he covered with both hands.
Amanda kept it that way until she was completely satisfied. He breathed out his emotions that had been stifled during his work. In this place, he is free to do anything. Because no one saw it.
That's why he missed dinner. He did not come out of the room at all, or a thousand questions he would get from his family. More from Aneeq and Jennie.
After unlocking and letting Jennie in, Amanda lies back on the bed and hides her face between the blanket and pillow. While the girl's gaze was straight towards the partially opened window.
"Darling, aren't you ready? Or are you really in shift two?" jennie asked slowly as she stroked the top of her daughter's head that poked slightly.
"Today I didn't go to work, Mom. I permit a day," Amanda replied in a raucous voice. Of course, this made Jennie frown.
"You sick, honey?" She begins to check Amanda's forehead, but her daughter's body temperature feels normal.
"Just a little dizzy, Mom. Maybe my body needs a longer break, because I've been working hard all this time."
"Does Mommy need to call Uncle Derrick?" jennie asked, intending to call her husband's twin who works as a doctor.
Amanda shook her head weakly.
Uncle De can only cure disease, not my heart. Inner Amanda.
Jennie breathed a heavy sigh. "Yes, Mommy will deliver breakfast and headache medicine."
"Thank you, Mom," Amanda replied, Jennie stroked Amanda's head at a glance, then left. However, before the woman came out of Amanda's room, the girl again exclaimed. "Mom, just tell Daddy that I'm okay." He said that because he didn't want Aneeq to worry about him.
"Yes, honey."
Jennie did not argue, because she knew the child did not want to share his story with her. And he does not want to make things worse.
