Finding Light in a Dark World
A storm of darkness haunts Raka

With her eyes still closed, Raka felt the tremors from the sound of the alarm that re-awakened her. He grabbed his cell phone lying next to a pillow and opened a message from Maya. Unlike usual, the message brought bad news about his father's illness. Raka feels surprised and anxious, let alone Maya saying that she can't play for a while. He sighed heavily, contemplating the next step he should take.

After reading the message, Raka immediately prayed for healing for her father Maya. Her heart was sad and worried, but she could not disturb Maya who was taking care of her ailing father. Raka promises to always support Maya and her family in these difficult circumstances. Raka believes that patience and sincere prayer will surely bring happiness in the future.

The scorching morning sun shone on Raka's face as she prepared to head for school. But his heart was not as usual that was full of vigor because of hearing the sad news from Maya. Her ailing father made Raka feel uninspired to start today, especially since today she just entered the new 5th grade of Elementary School. However, Raka continues to strive to maintain her spirit and pray for the recovery of Maya's father.

Doldrumsily, Raka steps towards her new SD 5th class. Every step was heavy, his heart was saddened to hear the news that his close friend's parents were sick. After putting her bag on the study table, Raka immediately grabbed her smartphone from inside her pants pocket. Her heart was anxious, hopefully Maya was online and can be invited to play games even though her parents were sick.

Raka was still staring at the screen of her phone with anxious expectation. Although 15 minutes had passed, there had been no reply from Maya. Raka was worried about the condition of her best friend's parents. He breathed and closed his eyes.
