First Night of Cana

Adrian threw the paper he had just read and slammed his body into his chair breathing out loud. Joddy who had been in one room with Adrian just glanced at him and returned cool to his phone.

"Request the HRD part of Susan's old address!" adrian orders on Joddy who incidentally is his subordinate.

"Already, I've even been there. His neighbor said he hadn't been there for a long time. The address in our village has no. Her phone number is inactive. Apparently he had prepared everything. His resignation letter had been accepted by HRD yesterday before Kana." Joddy leaned his head, sighed then looked at the ceiling of Adrian's room.

A glimpse of the shadow of Kana's face flashed with the thin smile she forced. Kana already wanted to talk, although occasionally she was still pensive with a sad face as her eyes looked at her now flat stomach. It was still a very sad look in his eyes.

Luckily he had two friends who always faithfully comforted Kana so that little by little Kana could forget her sadness.

"Lo has an IT acquaintance, right Jod? Ask her to help him track Susan through his sosmed," exclaimed Adrian, able to distract him.

"How sure you are, Susan will open her social media?"Joddy's a little unconvinced by Adrian's proposal.

"Why don't we hire a detective to get him?" joddy.

"Lo paid!" break Adrian. Joddy clucked in annoyance then opened his phone and looked for his friend's contacts. Hiring people to find information is not as easy as in the story of a novel or soap opera on television requires no small cost. It's not that Kana doesn't matter, but if she had to throw money away for a woman like Susan, Joddy wouldn't do it.

Joddy was convinced that without hiring anyone they could find Susan and gather evidence to teach her a lesson. His actions have gone criminal. Almost all of them also lost Kana, if only Kana was not immediately taken to the hospital.

"Damn! we need to find out where that woman is!" Adrian massaged his temple. He was very tired, under-eating and sleep deprived. In his mind there was only one, Kana. Kana's body was recovering. But his soul was still shaken. Kana was already able to smile and talk but her eyes still radiated sadness. Adrian conquered it. Kana has been able to express what she feels Adrian is very grateful.

"Gue sent data about Susan to my friend. He'll give you information soon." Joddy took a sip of the coffee he had bought, he glanced at Adrian's cup which was still intact.

"Lo coffee first, let your mind calm down."

Adrian got up from his seat and slammed his body into the sofa near Joddy. "Thanks, I've made Kana smile again" Adrian said shortly after sipping his coffee.

Joddy responded by lifting his coffee cup and sipping it back.

"Sometimes I wonder, why if you're always so obedient?"Adrian narrowed his eyes scrutinizing Joddy from top to bottom. Observing him.

Joddy smiled and looked at his best friend. "Because to Cana I am his sun. Warm."

Adrian glared at what Joddy said. "And I'm cloudy who's going to be lo!" adrian was upset.

Joddy laughed seeing Adrian being jealous of him. " Just kidding. Kana is close to me, because I have known him first and longer. I think it was like a brother to him. Lo relax, how much I love the same bini lo. His love is much greater. "All right, Joddy tell me the truth. Yups, he really does love Kana. The innocent girl who was always cheerful. When Joddy said he was the sun for Kana. That's not true, because it's the opposite. Kana is the sun of Joddy. Actually, Joddy's love is gone. But seeing what Kana had been experiencing all this time somehow the foreign feeling appeared again. So what does Joddy feel is love or empathy?

"Lo love is like me?" Adrian raised an eyebrow staring at Joddy sekptis.

"Relgan." Joddy is lazy to discuss it, because he himself is still doubtful of what he really feels.

"If so, I won't take Kana off, even if she asks for it herself." Adrian said firmly. Actually Joddy slightly hurt his pride when he heard what Adrian said, but he immediately dismissed the thought. Now the most important thing is that he should focus on finding Susan and teaching her a lesson.

However, Joddy does not deserve to go further into Kana's life anymore. Ah, crap! He should have been closer to Kana. All because of the Kanda warrior who even introduced Kana to Adrian.

At the hospital Kana was talking to her mother. Moli and Nea had just returned home because they had been with him all day.

"Ma, can you please go home to Mama's first?" kana asked softly, looking at her mother. Maya who was peeling the apple immediately stopped the knife movement.

"Why?" ask Maya wonder.

Kana did not immediately answer he just lowered his head with his fingers interlocked. His hands were trembling and his eyes were glazed. Maya puts down the knife and the apple she was holding. Then sitting beside Kana embracing Kana's soft shoulder. "Have you asked Adrian?"

Kana shook her head slowly and hugged her mother tightly. "When you're afraid, Ma, Kana is afraid." Cana spilled her tears into her mother's chest.

"You know, honey, you're traumatized by the incident and you're never going to forbid you from going home. But you better talk to Ian. You haven't asked her opinion, have you?"

"Ma. i-" Kana said, continuing her words. His tongue felt suddenly his body tremors if he remembers the incident that happened to him. It was still clearly visible in his mind how it was Susan's face that kicked and hurt him. The pain all over her body was not worth the pain of losing her child.

"All wrong Kana Ma, all wrong Kana." The guilt was really tight on Kana's chest.

"It's not your fault."

"Wrong by Kana Ma! Kana shouldn't have challenged that woman. Kana should have just left and not been provoked by every talk Susan made." Kana grabbed the end of her mother's shirt.

"Hey, listen to Mama!" Maya held onto both shoulders Kana looked at him gently. "Listen Na, it's not all your fault. It's nobody's fault. It's all a disaster, Na. You don't have to blame yourself. You must be able to forgive yourself and take care of your child. He'll take you to heaven later, honey. So, stop blaming yourself." Maya rubs Kana's wet cheeks.

"Can you stop blaming yourself?" ask Maya again. Kana looked at her Mama with eyes that were still watering and then nodded slowly. Maya smiles trying to convince her son if all the events that happened to her will pass quickly.

"Ma, Kana wants to go home." Cana was already unable to bear the smell of medicine. He also always felt anxious if he was in the hospital longer.

"If so, can you stay alone for a while? Mama want nanya you can go home or not? Yesterday the doctor said today that if you're okay, you can go home."

Kana just nodded. "Don't be long Ma. Kana's afraid."

Maya nods rubbing Kana's head and rushes out of Kana's room, leaving Kana alone. Kana looked around the room she occupied.

Slender. Adrian hasn't come home yet he's still in the office, while his brother has a job taking photos for his friend's pre-wedding. Did he just call Moli and Nea? No, they are new from here. Kana smiled when she heard the doorknob move, apparently her mother was back.

"Ma, kok su-" Kana's question hung upon seeing the figure that was already standing in front of her. Suddenly his body felt stiff. His body became hot cold to see the figure who was now standing looking at him with guts.

"Su-san?"

The woman in black was smiling sideways. "Get me a kitten!"
