The dry season wind blew cold this morning, but it did not dampen Sofi's desire to meet his baby. Since the night of feeling longed to whack his inner, it had been two weeks more he was in the hospital and he had not seen the appearance of his little angel at all.
“Be careful, Darling.” Ramzi helps Sofi sit in a wheelchair. “Do you not want to go to the bathroom first?
Screaming with a catatap. “I want to quickly meet my son.”
“Alright, but we said it first same sister huh?”
“I'm well, Brother.” A little pressing the tone of his sentence made Ramzi heartless, then immediately pushed the wheelchair out of the room.
The bright rays of the morning sun immediately greeted Sofi's room door open. This is the first time Sofi has met the sun since she lay weak after giving birth. The two neutrals adjust to the light, then the view rests on a small garden not far from the treatment room.
“Sister, I want to carry my baby there.”
“Smoothly rubbing his wife's shoulder. “Later you can definitely do it.”
“Morning sun is good for newborns right?”
Ramzi just nodded, he did not want to tell the real situation about their baby. Let the doctor himself say it, Ramzi does not want to make Sofi who has just recovered to be sad. They are both heading to the NICU.
“Kak, instead of baby room in that direction?” Looking at the husband who was pushing his wheel.
“Our baby is in another room.” Ramzi ignored the directional sign he had just passed. He continued his steps down the hallway to meet with several nurses who started with his busy life.
Wide steps and teresa coming from the opposite direction, Ramzi stopped when he saw Mirza from a distance. They met but did not greet each other, Mirza rushed to Leonard's doctor's room because she got news about her mother's surgery plan.
“Mrs Sofia?” The voice of a nurse resuscitated the two of them who were still staring back at Mirza away.
“Suster, my wife wants to see her baby.” Reply Ramzi.
The nurse smiled, “mari I help.” Intending to replace Ramzi pushing Sofi's wheelchair.
“Let me only, Sus.” Reject delicate Ramzi.
They arrive in front of the NICU room, the sisters inform them that they have not been allowed to see their baby in person. The nurse named Ines sterilized herself and entered the room. He seems to push the incubator connected to some medical devices attached to the incubator closer to the wide room glass. Sofi and Ramzi watched from outside the room through the glass.
A tiny baby, smaller than the size of a baby usually lies soundly with several medical tubes on his body. Doctors have not allowed the baby to be reunited directly with her parents, so the nurse only takes her near the glass so that Ramzi and Sofi can see. It looked like a pair of tiny, naked feet that were reddish with wrinkled skin clad in its small bones. As a mother, Sofi's heart was as sliced as she watched the scene in front of her. His maternal instinct was torn apart to see the baby lying weak in a very apprehensive condition. Clear circles immediately slid down wetting both cheeks.
“Kak, I want to touch it.” Pilu's wish.
Crouching on the side of the wife's wheelchair. “Soon Darling. You will be able to carry her immediately later after she recovers.” Gently squeezing Sofi's fingers.
Long the two people who just bear the status of an old man were outside the NICU room looking at the little angel who fell asleep, Sofi's shoulders shook with the increasingly bitter tears.
“We are back to the room now.” Rise up pushing the wheelchair.
“Kak, I want to see a doctor.”
Although somewhat doubtful Ramzi complied as well. Lucky morning the doctor who handled their baby had just arrived in his room. The two of them were sitting listening to the doctor.
“Doctor, exactly what happened to my baby?” Sofi's voice trembled between curiosity and not until the heart to accept all the reality experienced by her tiny baby.
The young doctor looked at Ramzi briefly before starting to explain. He soon understood that the patient's husband had not said anything about their baby's condition.
“Babies born before pregnancy reaches 37 weeks or premature babies are indeed more at risk of experiencing various health problems. One of them is ateliktasis.” The doctor's gaze gently took aim at the two beautiful netra Sofi. “This is a disorder that occurs in the lungs where part or one segment of the lungs does not function properly. This is because premature babies do not have enough surfactant. Surfactants are chemicals that help keep the air sacs open. This condition can then lead to a collapse of the small airway and respiratory distress syndrome.”
Ramzi did not remove her hand from Sofia's fingers as long as the doctors explained details about their baby's condition. Screens of pain returned to seep slowly even though Sofi had tried to hold it.
“How long will my baby have to be cared for, Doc?” Wiping his cheeks with the back of his hand.
The doctor breathed for a moment. “I see your baby's development is pretty good. His weight has also shown an increase. It may take a few more weeks, we wait for the results of follow-up observations until the function of his lungs develops perfectly.”
Along the way to the treatment room, neither Sofi nor Ramzi said. The words spoken by the doctor continued to ring in Sofi's ear. Guilt filled the bottom of his heart, if only God would allow him to be willing to replace all the suffering of his little baby whom he had just known his gender was real man.
“I bribe you breakfast yes.” Ramzi said after helping Sofi get back on her bed.
Bullied weakly. “I'm not hungry.”
“Little bit.” Grabbing a bowl of soup that the nurse might have served when they were out a while ago. “For our little angel.”
Sofi finally opened her mouth after hearing her husband's persuasion. With Ramzi painstakingly feeding breakfast to his wife, this is the first moment he does it for Sofi. He looked at the face of the woman he had loved so much since he was a teenager, though pale and thin but still very beautiful for him.
SREETS
Ramzi pulled a piece of tissue over the nightstand to wipe the corner of Sofi's lips, their eyes strewn. Powerless, Sofi bowed squeezing her fingers. What kind of strange feeling was raging within his chest.
“Sofia.” Gently lifted the chin of the wife.
“I'm full.” Dodging, slowly shifting back on top of the bed.
Ramzi hit his disappointment, the moment should be sweet but he felt Sofi trying to avoid it. Still faithfully sitting next to the bed of the wife after putting back the bowl of soup. There were puddles of tears in both of Sofi's beautiful netra.
“Sofia ..”
“I want to alone, Brother.” Quickly rubbed both of his eyes
“No, I don't want to leave you alone anymore. I will always be by your side.”
“But I need time to stand by.” Throwing his eyes in any direction.
Silent, without the slightest intention of leaving Sofi, Ramzi was faithful in the silence between them.
“I'm ashamed of you, Brother.” Sofi's great-grandson melted their freezing. “Do I still deserve you?”
It's not really that sentence that Ramzi wants to hear, but in fact Sofi's speech is able to pinch his heart. “Until now, you are still enthroned in my heart.” Grab Sofi's fingers and kiss her gently. “Dan will always be so until anytime.”
Tests
Between shame, haru and happiness melted into one with the shedding of tears from both neutrals. Although she felt inappropriate but Sofi was relieved to know her husband's feelings, now her weak body was in the warm embrace of the husband's long solid hands that she did not feel.
“Kak, I'm sorry. I was a lot of disappointments as a wife.”
Wrecking embrace. “I have to apologize. I can't be a good husband. I hurt you a lot during this.” Poking the back of Sofi's hand on her chest. “I promise after this we will always be together.”
“You said it yesterday, Brother.” Smiling cupped the cheek of the husband overgrown with a side of his hand.
“oya? I'll keep saying it again, so I don't forget.” Reply smile. “One more, about your Jane ... “
“Do not proceed, Brother.” Crop Sofi. “I've known from Azad. I regret too soon to conclude everything.” Caught up withstanding guilt.
“I also regretted trying to play api.”
“So you really intend to have a relationship with him?” Pulling his hand with a sharp lotto.
Ramzi smiled broadly. “I like to see you angry, it has been a long time you have not behaved so fiercely to me.”
“So, don't interrupt the talk! Answer me, you really want .. “
“If yes how?” Cut Ramzi chuckling.
“You're outrageous!” Turning away, the pain returned bad in his heart.
“What can a husband do if he knows his wife is still in touch with her ex?”
“So you want to reply me?” Glancing sharp.
“No need to rent so dong, we have agreed to start a new sheet?”
“But Brother Ram sucks!”
“Absolutely you are not?”
A rude snort, annoyed at the husband who blatantly scraped back old wounds when they had just forgiven.
“Already yes, we forget Jane and your ex. Now the new chapter is just the two of us and our little angel who will fill our next days.” Gently rubbed the top of Sofi's head with a big smile. “Don't reveal again, Jane has rejected me because she doesn't want to be a household destroyer.”
“So if Jane doesn't reject you, you'll marry her?” Drawing a sharper view.
“Aduh, wrong talking!” Patting his own head. “That's not what I mean, you know what it's like to be abandoned by someone you love so much?”
Quietly, looking for lies in the eyes of the husband. But as always, Ramzi was sincere no matter how much he was hurt.
“Sister, teach me to be a good wife and mother to you and our little angel.” Lirih Sofi later.
“Definitely. Because only you are the best woman for us.” Kissing Sofi's forehead with all the feelings of love that returned beautiful seed filled the bottom of her heart. “So with this I ask you to come back to me as my wife.”
Nodding steady. “Iya, Brother. I will try to improve myself, I want to be your wife forever.”
As if not satisfied with just kissing and hugging, Ramzi intended to land a kiss on the lips of the wife, but the creaking sound of the door undoes his intentions.
“Good morning Lady Sofia.” Greet the doctor with a big smile. “Wah, it looks like this morning you look fitter.” Walk closer with a nurse. “Sorry Sir, may I check first your wife?” asking for permission because Ramzi still holds Sofi's hands positive.
“Oh, yes. Please, Dok.” Giving the doctor space to carry out his duties, Ramzi sat on a single sofa paying attention to the activities of doctors and nurses to his wife.
“Everything has improved, later in the afternoon can go home.” Then the doctor said.
“Really?” Ramzi nodded with a happy feeling.
“Mistress, home treatment will speed up your health recovery.” Doctor's talk.
“But I want to be here as long as my baby is not out of the hospital, I do not want to leave him alone.”
“Ms believe me, the team of doctors will handle your baby very well.”
Ramzi rubbed Sofi's shoulder, nodding as a sign of approval.
“But, Brother ..”
“We will find a hotel close to the hospital so that we can visit our child often.”
Ramzi immediately reached for his salary to contact Om Jaka after the doctor left the room. He will ask Om Jaka to find the best hotel closest to the hospital.
Since it was in a different room, Mirza had just finished talking to Leonard's doctor.
“Cause, Za. Your mother will definitely improve after undergoing a headscarf unification operation tomorrow morning.” Doctor Leonard smiled.
“Aamiin, Doc.”
“After the condition recovers we continue with other operations.”
“I believe the team of doctors will do their best.” Reply Mirza who then exit the room.

Day crept noon, in the backyard of Mirza's house which used to look Rumi sitting in the gazebo, she was urgently chatted with Hanson. Jane saw it off herself.
“People stay one roof instead chat-chatan, no work lo!” Annoyed Jane.
“Si bule says from the morning blind tau no lo?” Rumi's reply was no less upset.
“Ngilang where? Don't she stray?” Panic Jane.
“I know I've been sucked. The problem is that he doesn't want to say where it is now!”
“Means she is fine dong?”
Rumi nodded. “He was just a prick again somewhere.” Show Hanson's chat to Jane.
“Ish, you mysterious bloke! Aja monasteries, ntar also he turned himself.”
“But I'm worried Jane. How was she kidnapped?” The stern worry on Rumi's face.
“No one loves the same human model girlfriend lo! The kidney sale also does not sell!”
“Ih, have the heart of you!”
“Udah yuk, meningan we go where it is. How many days we in this village have never been anywhere.”
“Where are you going? I'm afraid of stray.”
“Can there be a map?”
“Ogah ah, males. Want to wait for the bule to come home.”
“No fun lo!” Decak Jane stopped moving from the gazebo into the house right along with Azad who just came out of the room.
“Jane? Why you?” Sapa Azad who saw the look of Jane's manyun.
“Ngak papa's. You're just waking up? Not to Sofi's hospital?”
Landed his ass on the living room couch. “I just got word Kak Sofi has recovered. I'm going home to Jakarta.” Azad's successful speech made Jane a little surprised.
“Sofi and Ram also want to go home?” Sitting next to Azad.
“They will stay in the hotel for a while because baby Kak Sofi still needs intensive care.”
Jane nodded, relieved to hear that the condition of the sofi had improved. It turned out that Ramzi had not in vain followed him all the way to this village, finally they were back together again. Jane has all her feelings for Ramzi, she is happy to reunite her ex-boss with his wife.
“Jane, come home with me.” Azad's words startle Jane's daydream.
“What?”
“Go home with me.” Repeated Azad. “We no longer have any interest in being here.”
Pondering for a moment, he looked at Azad's face which this afternoon seemed different from usual.
“Hey, how come you're dumb?” Azad shook his right palm right in front of Jane's face. “You're looking at me huh? why?”
“Emh, uh ng-nggak.” Jane stammered a little to the real face of Azad. “You've had a shower?”
Azad laughed. “You're funny, don't connect!”
“What's funny?”
“I asked why are you looking at me? Have you even turned back on me to shower yet? You don't see my hair still wet? it was me taking a shower. You think I'm stuck in the water?”
Knock Azad's arm slowly. “It looks like you met the same Om-Om who mengeselin it deh, really if you say!”
“Om Jaka? He's so nice again his guy.”
“Times anyway?”
“Kalo no, where might he ngijinin you same two magic friends of yours stay here while I'm with Kak Ram keep Kak Sofi in the hospital?”
“Yes too huh?” Smiling while nodding.
“So how? You want to go home with me to Jakarta, right?”
Sighs slowly. “Rumi with Hanson how?”
“Ya tell them to come home too. Why would they want to say them here? But let's get them back in the car, we take the train aja.”
“Kok is?”
“Heem, let's not be tired. Let's sleep well by taking the train.”
“Instead if riding in the car can not sleep?”
“Ya can aja.”
“Terus why do we have to go home by train? Why don't they just ride in the car?”
“Because I pingin .. “
Ting tung tung tung!
The loud voice of the doorbell interrupted Azad's sentence. Jane and Azad rise together to the living room out of curiosity as to who is coming.
Chequelek
Hanson Munsul's face with someone who succeeded in making Azad shocked.
“Riana?” Azad was unable to cover up his surprise when Riri appeared in front of him.
“Master Takur?” Riri was no less surprised, only that Azad was shocked by his seneng but if Riri was shocked to be upset considering his previous meeting with Azad was not pleasant.
“Hai, how are you? Glad to see you again.” Stretching out my hands while smiling widely.
“Unfortunately I am not at all happy to meet you!” Glared ferociously without the slightest intention of welcoming Azad's helping hand.
Azad even smiled even though he did not get a good reception from Riri. “You can come both anyway?” Asked to see Hanson still faithfully standing in front of the door.
“Hem, I met this cute girl at the home of Pak Haji Barkah.” Hanson answered with a smile.
“Who does elo call cute girl?” Rumi's shrill voice that came later made everyone look surprised.
