Maghrib Azad and Sofi arrive at Alatas' house. They entered to meet Ramzi with two confidants Ramzi who was waiting in front.
Ramzi Nampak is enjoying a cup of coffee on the second-floor balcony terrace that juts into the garden and swimming pool area.
“So you came also finally.” Said Ramzi while looking at Sofi with eyes that were difficult to interpret.
Sofi did not say, she still remembered her last meeting with Ramzi that afternoon in the office workspace Ramzi who made her run away because of the unpleasant treatment of her fiance.
Ramzi gestured with his eyes at the two people he trusted to leave him.
Ramzi got up around Sofi and Azad who just stood up.
“What do you expect by bringing your brother before me?” This time Ramzi spoke to Azad.
Just now Azad was about to open his mouth but Ramzi spoke again.
“You want to barter your home and company with your brother?” Ramzi asked with sharp eyes on Azad.
“I just want your wedding to go as planned.” Sahut Azad.
“Toooooooo.” Sinis Ramzi's.
Azad was a little surprised, but tried to cover it up. He knew for years Ramzi had yearned for his brother as his future wife, even since Sofi was still sitting in the first school, Ramzi who had graduated from college had intended to apply for Sofi.
“But if you force, fine. I'll keep marrying her.” Ramzi painted a smile that was hard to decipher.
Azad stared at his brother's beautiful bead that seemed frozen, Sofi did not say a word, and it was indeed much better than fighting because the state was no longer on their side.
Ramzi raised his coffee cup. “You want to drink coffee?” The bargain on Azad.
Azad shook his head, Ramzi then took a sip of his coffee which looked so delicious. Ramzi returned to his soft seat and took his salary and contacted someone.
“Halo, Jane. Please prepare everything, the day after tomorrow I will get married.”
Brief, dense and clear sentences that Ramzi said to someone named Jane, then he immediately ended his connection whether the person opposite had answered or not.
“What did you say?” Sofi could not hold back anymore.
Ramzi only glanced at Sofi at a glance, then returned to his coffee cup.
“I'm talking to you. Are we getting married the day after?” Sofi's voice tone was slightly pressed.
“Do you want us to get married tomorrow morning?” Sahut Ramzi with questions.
Sofi kelu, Azad did not respond to his brother's reaction. For him, the most important thing is that his brother was quickly married so that the Alatas family no longer guided the return of the loan funds they had donated to help restore the Husein family company.
“You can go home now.” Then Ramzi just passed by leaving them both.
Along the way home Sofi continued to blame Azad's actions which immediately led him to meet Ramzi.
“Now you are happy to see the destruction of your own brother's life?” Sofi vented her emotions that she had been holding back.
“What brother is happy to see the destruction of his own sister's family?” Reply Azad flat.
“Azad I'm serious!” Sofi slightly stiffened the volume of her voice.
Azad let out a heavy sigh, glancing at Soofi at a glance.
“Come, Brother. When else can you please Papa and Mama? The whole time and life Kak sofi has been spent just for fun.” Azad said while trying to stay focused on driving.
“No need to be so smart to hunt me!”
Azad had no taste in continuing their conversation. Sofi looks so jangekel. His tired brain forced him to think how to escape from all this.
A few days later they arrived home. No waiter opens the door, the house looks very quiet. Mrs Husein opened the door and greeted them, while Mr. Husein was seen sitting in her lazy chair in the living room.
“Let's go in, Son. Aren't you craving Mama?” Lady Husein hugged and kissed Sofi.
Sofi was flat, she just followed her mother who invited her to the living room.
“Pa, look. Azad could really bring Sofi home.” Mrs Husein was pleased.
Mr. Husein only raised his face for a while and then returned to the tasbih seed strand in his right hand.
“Lusa Kak Sofi is getting married to Kak Ram.” Said Azad who was able to make Mrs Husein widened in astonishment.
“You think with that wedding we can be free from the snares of Alatas cunning?” Said Mr. Husen without looking at the one being spoken to.
“Why did Papa say that?” Azad was a little surprised.
Mr. Husein stopped his activity.
“Papa belatedly realized, that all the good they have done so far is because it has a certain purpose. That's our company.”
“So my wedding can be cancelled then?” Sofi interrupted enthusiastically.
“Terlarah. As long as you can take care of your own baby without disturbing people's husbands!”
JRENGJEAN!
Sofi was shocked to hear her father say that. Azad was also just as surprised, desperately he kept the matter of Sofi's pregnancy from his parents, it turns out they knew it too.
“D-where does Papa know?” Sofi asked her father a little.
“Alatas.”
Sofi and Azad looked at each other in silence.
“Married won't change things. Slowly, Makhrus Alatas will still ask for the money to be returned.” Said Mr. Husein bitterly. “Because all he had in mind was business profits, not anything else.”
“Why is Papa so pessimistic? At least if Kak Sofi remains married, we still have time to restore the company because they did not ask for a quick refund.” Papar Azad tried to convince his father.
“Then ask for a dowry that is comparable to the value of all the family assets we have.” Mr. Husein stared intently at Sofi.
“Do I have to ask my own family home and company as the dowry?” Sofi nodded in disbelief.
“Subject to how the language, which obviously make your exchange not in vain.”
Sofi shook her head strongly. “Ngak. It's insane! From the beginning I didn't want to be betrothed, but you forced me. And now consider me a barter. I'm not an item, I have rights and feelings that you can't force.”
“Kak, listen to me first!” Cut Azad on Sofi who nyerocos uncontrollably.
“I don't want to hear anything else.” Sofi covered her ears with her palms. “I do not want to marry Ramzi Alatas. He's a cold, rigid and authoritarian man. I couldn't imagine living with him.”
“You must remain married to him.” Said Mrs Huesin who had just been silent. “Only she can accept you in this state of pregnancy.”
Sofi looked at her mother fixedly, Madame Husein's bead implying decisiveness.
“How can Mama know she received this baby?”
“The evidence until now he has no plans with your content. If he wants to, he could have forced you to remove your fetus.”
DEG!
Sofi silent. His gaze thundered against the velvet carpet beneath his feet.
“But this baby is not his child.” Lirih Sofi was barely heard.
“The baby needs a father, and Ramzi doesn't mind it.” Lady Husein rubbed softly on Sofi's shoulder.
