Day four since Khalisa's departure. The funeral home is back to silence. Adnan's family has returned to their respective homes because the study was over.
Sarah, Faheem and Caca live in the house. Sarah still remains sad and has no appetite for food. Faheem has to go to work again today. He's been on leave for too long.
After her Abi died, Caca chose to remain at home to accompany her mother. But, it turns out that the presence of Caca actually increased to make Sarah feel uncomfortable, filled with anger and also hate that overflowed.
"Ma, eat first. This is my mama's favorite chicken porridge."
Caca put a bowl of chicken porridge on the nightstand next to Sarah's bed.
Piyaarrr...
Sarah threw the porridge and the bowl to the floor just like that, until the bowl broke scattered along with the chicken porridge.
Caca patiently collected the broken glass bowl, then mopped the remaining pulp spill on the floor.
"I hate you so much. You did all this to take revenge on me?! I took your umi husband. You should just answer me. Why are you even replying to my daughter. He's innocent.." Shouted Sarah cursing.
Sarah even approached Caca and pulled the strong hair Caca stored behind the veil of her passport.
"I've never thought of it that way, ma.."
"liks. I know shut up you've been planning all this. You pretended to be nice to Lisa so you could snatch her husband. I know that, you cheesy shit.."
"Ma sick!!" scream Caca.
Sarah pulled the strong part of Caca's hijab until it was released. Then he pulled Caca's hair so strong that it made Caca's body attracted towards her stepmother.
"Feel this. You better die. I don't want you to take my son's place as my daughter-in-law's wife."
"Sick ma, get out!!"
Sarah pulls Caca out of the room. And he plans to push Caca's body freefall from the second floor of his house.
"You must die. You have to get out of this world after your mother."
Caca was pulled up to stand right in front of the stairs with her hair still pulled firmly by Sarah. If the hair was removed, it was certain that Caca would fall free-fall on the stairs.
Caca was not unable to fight, but he was never used to fighting. Because she was always taught by her Umi not to fight her stepmother.
"Ma, I'm sorry ma. I will never replace Caca. I also don't want to marry her husband, ma.." Caca explained in a state of enduring the pain of his head whose hair was pulled strongly by his stepmother.
"Just kill you.."
Sarah takes off Caca's hair and Caca falls down the stairs.
Bruuugggg
Braaakkk
At that time Alden opened the door of the house and he saw Caca who rolled down the stairs was immediately chasing Caca.
Alden swiftly helped Caca, so that when Caca's body almost touched the floor, he immediately helped Caca by making his body as a shield.
Sarah glared at Alden who arrived. He acts as if Caca is falling alone.
"Read!!" His scream ran down the stairs with the face of the temple anxious.
While Caca who knows that Alden who is now denying his body also pura fainted. He didn't want to explain anything about what happened.
"Caca, are you okay?"
Alden checked Caca's face and feet. He looks very worried.
"Ma, Caca fainted. I'm allowed to take him to the hospital. He's afraid that there's a part of his body that's hurt." Pamit Alden's.
"Yes, please son. But my mom couldn't come. Mama's not feeling well."
"Mama rest at home. I'll let you know mom."
Alden immediately carried the body of Caca ala bridal style. Seeing that certainly made Sarah grow angry and hate Caca.
"Basic cheap. How dare he take Alden's attention. Oh, my poor Lisa. How much Lisa loved Alden, eh was taken by the heartless woman." grumpily Sarah continued to blame Caca.
Meanwhile, Caca is now in Alden's car. He was sitting in the back seat, while Alden drove his car to the hospital.
"I'm fine." Caca's words that made Alden flabbergasted.
He looked back and found Caca massaging his head and trying to cover his head with his hands. Yes, Caca's hijab has been removed by her stepmom.
"You should be checked. Who knows if there's an internal wound." Said Alden who returned to focus looking ahead.
"No need. I'm fine. I just pretended to faint in shame, you came here when I wasn't wearing a hijab." Caca Sahut.
Alden did not answer. He continued to drive his car without looking back. Because he knows Caca is uncomfortable. Indeed their status is married and there is no harm Caca not veiled in front of Alden. But, everything was too sudden and Caca was uncomfortable.
Alden's car turned into the hijab shop. Caca was unaware of that, as he kept his head down and tried to protect his head.
Alden got out of his car, walked into the hijab shop and bought a pasmina headscarf that he knew Caca always wore as much pasmina headscarf as he bought it today.
After getting what he was looking for, he returned to the car.
"More.."
Alden held out a paper bag containing the hijab he bought earlier to Caca.
"What's this?"
There was no reply from Alden, as he had returned to drive his car.
Caca looked at the contents of the paper bag which turned out to be a pasmina hijab. Without thinking for a long time she immediately wore it and even without a pentul needle, Caca could wear it and still stick out her passport to cover her chest.
"Thank you." Her speech.
Alden did not respond. He just continued to focus on staring at the streets in front of him that began to get denser, because it's the hour when school children come home.
The car stopped at a red light. Caca glanced out of the car.
"Where are we going?" Tanya Caca hesitated.
The road is not the way to the hospital.
"Papa asked me to pick you up."
"For what?"
"Because you're his daughter-in-law." Alden replied concisely solidly and clearly.
Is correct. Caca is now a son-in-law in the Adnan family to maintain Khalisa's position. Caca had forgotten, because he was busy lamenting the departure of his beloved sister.
The car goes back when the green light comes on. Alden didn't speak at all, he looked as cold as ever. Yeah, he's very cold to women except his wife Khalisa.
"Dec, forgive brother. I'll try to hold on for a sis." Caca muttered in his heart.
