Forced to Marry a Handsome Duda

Forced to Marry a Handsome Duda
Chapter 51. Friday night

The rumbling sound from the front of the room pierced the Lintang eardrum. He was busy working without leaving. Believing it was the employee who returned after gathering at Yudha's invitation.

"It's possible that this company will make a big profit, so Mr. Yudha will give us a bonus."

The incendiary sound of Gita was heard clearly making Lintang a little panic.

I can't be nervous, lest Gita suspect me.

Lintang opened the laptop and started playing his finger there. Completing the work that piled up because yesterday was hindered by a tragedy that drained tears as well as emotions.

Unwittingly, Gita pecked at the doorway, staring at Lintang with a probing gaze.

Suddenly he was here.

''Star," exclaimed Gita starting to step her feet in.

"For Gita" Lintang answered without turning his head, avoiding the gaze of the friend who must be full of questions because he did not see himself coming.

Gita sat on the available seats, kept staring at each different inch of Latitude's face, switched to a slightly strange Latitude suit, then went down to observe the Lintang shoes that looked new and branded.

"Where are you from?" asked Gita in a soft voice, but filled with emphasis.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha

Lintang laughed, covering the nervousness that struck. He is not ready to get the question that will eventually lead to a lying answer. But what power, Gita already entered before she gathered the right answer.

"I'm here, why?" Following Gita's eyes leads.

God, may Gita not suspect me.

That is what is in the heart of Lintang, though he will clearly lie, at least ask for protection from the powerful.

"Related?" ask Gita again.

The latitude nodded quickly. "Why indeed?" The latitude behind tanya.

"Now, didn't I see you downstairs?"

I'm not coming, Gita. But how do I explain.

The voice was held in the heart. Facing the Gita is more complicated than dealing with Yudha, in fact, he did not dare to expel the girl.

"I'm in the back, 'cause I was a little late."

Gita mangosteen, although it still feels awkward to see a very strange Latitude attitude.

"Oh, yes, if the bonus is in, what do you want to buy?"

"Bonnus?"Lintang asked again, making sure he didn't hear wrong.

"Yes, we didn't collect because we wanted a bonus, did we?"

Gawat, why did Mas Yudha not say if you want to share the bonus anyway, if Gini right Gita increasingly suspicious of me.

Lintang scratched his non-itchy head, smiled wryly then nodded.

"I didn't hear it, because it was so noisy behind me."

Gita leaned her head, staring fixedly at the finger of Latitude who was busy playing the pen.

Pulling the hand Latitude then stared at something coiling on the ring finger intensely.

"When did you buy a diamond ring?" ask Gita to investigate.

Although never had it, Gita could not be mistaken if the ring embedded in the finger of the friend was an expensive ring, even there were only a few people who could afford it.

"It's just an imitation." Lintang pulled his hand quickly, then hid it under the table.

Hot air starts slapping, Lintang wants Gita to leave her room immediately at will.

Gita moved from her seat, it was not yet time to discuss all that considering her work that had been waving waiting for her.

"I came out first yes," said Gita, again glancing at the hand of Lintang which was still on the lap.

Lintang nodded and smiled.

"It's wrong, I should be honest with Gita, she's my best friend and there's no way I'm covering this up constantly."

Lintang picked up his phone and called Yudha.

"What's up, honey?" ask Yudha warmly.

"So we're sharing bonuses?" tanya Latitude as Gita said.

"Yes, why?"

Yudha who was in her room walked towards the window. Gazing outwards, the clear weather described his now happy heart.

"No, Gita was in my room, she said she wanted a bonus."

"But if for you the bonus take here, now," pinta Yudha teased.

"Why is that? Isn't the bonus all employees get into their respective accounts?"

There was the sound of crisp laughter. It seems that Yudha deliberately made her angry, that is according to Lintang who seemed annoyed with her husband's words.

"That's just an employee, if your bonus is double, my employee plus my wife, so now come here, this is an order from the boss and also the husband."

Yudha turned off her phone without waiting for a response from Lintang.

Free to grumble, he still lost to the more powerful Yudha.

The latitude out of his room. Staring at Gita who just came out of the room Mr. Setiawan.

"Git, I'm going upstairs for a second."

Gita nodded, watching Lintang who was walking towards the elevator.

Lately the latitude is getting weird, he often does not go to work, his appearance is also different, I'm sure the ring was real, his shoes are also branded, actually what is he hiding from me?

Gita put the map signed by Mr. Setiawan. Hurriedly running towards the emergency stairs, he was curious about the current Latitude goal.

Arriving at the eleventh floor, Gita circulated her gaze to every corner of the room. Many employees passed by, but no latitude crossed.

"Maybe to the twelfth floor." Mumbled to himself before continuing his steps.

Gita rubbed the sweat that poured as big as a bean seed, regulate the breath that is boring, the knee feels linu until no longer able to step. He had climbed five floors, but there was no sign of finding his best friend.

"Where are you going?" gerutu Gita crouched down while holding on to the stairs railing.

The latitude walks leisurely. Greet some officers with a faint smile.

"Crosses…"

Suddenly a heavy voice from behind stopped the girl's footsteps.

The eyes are perfectly rounded. He was very familiar with the voice that greeted him a few seconds ago.

That was Samsul's voice.

The sound of the pounding of shoes and the floor getting closer made Lintang more panicked.

"Where are you going?" tanya Samsul stood in front of the Latitude.

"I. I want to go to Mr. Andreas's room" replied Lintang quickly, dispelling the panic that began to envelop him.

Samsul stared at Lintang's empty hand, "Why what? Why not bring anything?" ask Samsul again.

"You took the report that I submitted a few days ago," Lintang replied convincingly, whether believed or not, that's what's in his brain right now. Because, the presence of Samsul makes his mind dead end.

"Yes, I'm down first."

For the second time, Lintang felt hanging. After having to try to cover it from Gita, now it's a hide and seek turn with Samsul who is also his best friend.

"I have to tell them right away, there's no way I'm like this, like a thief."

Lintang turned towards the elevator, making sure that Samsul had actually left. After the man was not seen, Lintang continued his steps.

Upon arrival in front of Yudha's room, Lintang complains about her, making sure once again that no one is suspicious of her. However, this time it was a cross. It turned out that Gita who was at the end of the stairs saw him when he entered without knocking on the door.
