"Your cell phone boomed, "" Amera rebuked gently shaking the body of the man who was sound asleep beside Amera at the time.
"Love baby, I still want to close my eyes in a moment," said Adam with a half-murmuring tone and eyes still closed making Amera could not bear to force her husband to pick up the phone from his phone.
But when he saw the name on the phone, Amera frowned and hesitated to wake Adam up or pick up the call.
Because the call just kept not stopping, Amera finally chose to lift it.
"Yes Philip," Amera replied to the caller, who was Brian's personal bodyguard.
"Miss Amera where is Mr Adam now?!," his tanya with a nervous tone of voice made bad thoughts instantly appear inside Amera's head and it was related to Brian Maxwell who was now lying in a coma in the hospital.
"He's sleeping.I'll wake up now if it's important," Amera replied by directly shaking Adam's body quite hard and did not care if Adam was surprised when he woke up.
"Bat! Honey wake up Philip called you! He wants to talk to you I think it's important" she said with a nervous voice that made Adam open his eyes while still looking sleepy.
"Dear who called and what did he say?."
"This is why Philip calling you seems important because he told me to wake you up!" Amera said, handing over Adam Ke's cell phone.
Still in a lazy tone Adam answered Philip's call.
"What's wrong with Philip?" he asked.
"Sir Adam it's about Mr. Brian...."
"What Daddy?! Wait for Philip I'll be there soon doing my best to Daddy lest anything happen before I come!," without waiting for Philip to say what happened, Adam turned off the man's call and contacted the private driver and his bodyguard.
"Prepare the car now and take me to the hospital in 5 minutes," his orders were answered yes and before the private driver asked why Adam was in a hurry to ask for delivery to the hospital Adam had turned off his call.
"Adam what's wrong? Did something bad happen to Mr. Brian?" asked Amera, nervous and worried about Adam's reply.
"Don't know baby but from Philip's tone of voice it seems like something's going on that's why I have to get there right now because I don't want to be like that anymore" Adam shared as he prepared to leave.
"I'll come with you because if I'm home I'll feel unsettled."
Hearing that Adam nodded and Amera prepared to go with Adam to the hospital.
"We're leaving now, sir?" asked the personal driver, who was taken by Adam.
No more than 30 minutes Adam's car arrived at the hospital where Brian was being treated at the time.
"After helping Amera down Adam immediately took Amera to Brian's treatment room.
Until there Philip Harven and Geo turned out to have arrived first there and this time everyone seemed silent with a tense look made Amera and Adam feel tense because of it and also chose silence by holding hands to strengthen each other, rather than asking what happened to Brian in the treatment room to all of them at that time.
During the wait in silence and just watching the doctors passing in and out of the man's treatment room the feelings of Adam and Amera were not made erratic.
"Family Mr. Brian Maxwell" said the specialist who treated Brian to all those present.
Geo came forward as their representatives all saw that Adam was still silent and let Geo do it.
"How's our Daddy doing now, Doc?" he asked with an anxious look.
The doctor took a deep breath before answering Geo's question.
"Initially we thought Mr. Brian Maxwell was not really aware even though his fingers moved earlier but it turned out that when we checked his condition earlier to make sure it turned out.He instead opened his eyes to make us right .."
"What does that mean Daddy is conscious now Doc?!," asked Adam who had arrived just before the doctor who nodded in response to Adam's question just now.
"True Mr. Adam Maxwell Mr. Brian Maxwell is now conscious and is being examined carefully by several doctors to find out how his condition is currently," clearly the doctor intended to shake Adam's hand as a greeting but before the doctor did it arrived Adam's body staggered and almost fell if Geo did not quickly reach it making Amera and others very surprised to see that.
"Adam!," call Amera intending to approach but is immediately restrained by one of Brian's men.
"You don't go near Miss Amera let them handle it," pinta the bodyguard was immediately taken by Amera and a little away so that doctors and others could check the condition of Adam who was invited to sit in the waiting seat in the hospital hallway.
"It looks like Mr. Adam was just shocked to hear the news that I suggest you should now rest and then later his condition will improve please you alternately visit Mr. Brian who is currently still being examined by doctors," the doctor advised the nurse to bring a wheelchair to bring Adam to the treatment room to rest.
Adam didn't refuse when the nurse did that to him,honestly when he heard from the doctor that now his Daddy was aware he felt very relieved because he did not expect that it would happen considering how severe the injury experienced by Brian Maxwell because of the actions of Stella at that time and it turned out that he could realize it was truly a miracle.
"How are you doing, Dam?" asked Amera with a worried face sitting next to Adam's bed.
"Don't worry dear I'm fine just now just very surprised to hear the happy news," explained Adam with a gentle smile on Amera.
"Thank God I was so anxious even though I was also so happy when I heard the news the doctor said just now."
"I'm also very happy to come and accompany me to rest and tomorrow morning after the doctor lets us see Daddy we just met him," adam's advice was taken by Amera by going up to the bed and lying next to Adam.
