Genius Child: DEMI GAURI

Genius Child: DEMI GAURI
CHAPTER 22. ELEA'S FEELINGS

Isya bada.

Eiwa knocked on the door of the father's reading room because he had not seen him since he had gone down the pulpit.

Geck. Geck.

Sahutan Efendi was heard, letting her daughter who was pregnant in the second trimester into the room, Eiwa then sat in front of the father.

Efendi who knows the character of his daughter is well aware that Eiwa would want to ask the condition of his only sister.

"Why keep Elea's resting place a secret. Did I have anything wrong with Buya or Elea?" eiwa asked frankly, looking at the shady face of Efendi who was still reading Al Hikam.

Efendi paused, looked at Eiwa and closed the book. He took a slow breath, as if describing that his brain was looking for the right word to dodge.

"Not secret. Just don't want you to be too tired. Ngajar, schedule pickets and arrange a meal menu, take care of the household as well. But again, your son was born. The condition of the mother must be healthy," said Efendi.

"Ah, that's Buya's diversion only. I think there's something wrong with El. Buya, he and I like each other, huh?" cecar Eiwa, still not switching eyes.

Efendi this time took off his glasses, he rubbed his face while the tip of his index finger twitched at the base of his eye.

"Don't be prejudiced." Efendi lowered his head, pretending to tidy up some reading books on the table.

"I knew. But it's not entirely my fault, is it? my family chose me over Elea, it's not fair if I have to endure the bad taste" Eiwa said. Upset because Efendi seemed to cover up the facts.

"Your sister's sick. Don't want to increase your burden. Already, that's all. Eiwa, didn't your dream really want to be Farshad's wife? it's been accomplished, right? take care and serve your husband well. Focus on the wife's obligations. Elea's emotional affairs are not your two's." Efendi made an affirmation this time.

The owner of As-Shofa was faced with a difficult choice at that time. She knew that Elea had taken a liking to Farshad, and vice versa. But the reason the man chose Eiwa was because of his mother's insistence. Efendi decided to stand in front of the injured youngest daughter.

She had no power to hold Elea back when her daughter asked to disappear for some time. Efendi is beset with great guilt, and can only endure longing and the belief that Elea will return home someday.

"Buya is always going to buy El!" rajuk Eiwa, stomping feet.

"Eiwa! Nai!" call the father but not Eiwa.

Efendi only took a deep, heavy breath as Eiwa got up and walked out of her room.

The man before the age of twilight came out of there and went to the garage. Efendi wanted to visit Elea and spend the night there. The black brio slowly left the Majlis.

It did not take long, the city car that fits in the narrow streets arrived at Padepokan. The atmosphere of the village is so thick. The sound of tires rubbing against pebbles in the yard, welcoming Efendi's car in.

Stage house with half-permanent walls, made of woven bamboo and wooden planks arranged around the front facade of the residence to the main building. Looks warm and harmonious with the surrounding.

The sound of water gurgling from the fish pond in the garden, the bell of the clinking wind blown by the night wind, welcoming the arrival of Efendi. The atmosphere was calm, lush with trees, just like Elea needed for her physique to recover quickly.

Kusni, the housekeeper welcomes the occupancy owner. He opened the driver's door so that Efendi could get out of his car.

"El's asleep, Mang?" ask Efendi.

"No, Kang. Still in front of the lectop," answered Kusni, walking with her employer.

"Do nothing. I'm here nemenin El. Gih, rest. Ceu Koma later nyariin," as long as Elea's father, smiled.

"Nurk, Kang. Koma mah or lanceukna pengsan, teu eling," said Kusni, shaking his head while chuckling to leave Efendi. He entered through the back door of the house. (koma is like the above mentioned word fainting, unconscious)

Efendi laughed at Kusni's reply. He went in and went straight to his youngest daughter's room. Tok.Toks.

"Assalamualaikum, Salihah," said Efendi as he opened the door panel.

Elea turned her head towards the door, her smile expanding perfectly. "Mrs! wa 'alaikumsalam."

"It's night, sleep, Neng." Efendi stroked the head of his daughter who was not covered in hijab.

"Ehm, hang on. The title of the thesis has passed, so want to start compiling. I used yesterday's experience. When Oyi was taken care of, he was quiet and I managed to catch an audio visual game including communication because Gauri did not have a formal education," said Elea explained why staying up late.

"That's tofu. You teach him?" ask Efendi. Still hugging Elea.

"Yes, Buya. The teacher is going to give up so Gauri learns letters, alphabets, and nulis the same as me. Includes proper toilet training. Gauri is an introvert" said Elea.

Efendi just listened, occasionally rubbing her back, head, even stroking Elea's cheeks gently. This dear herself to the youngest seemed to be atoning for the sins of the wounded Elea.

"Reezi told Emran that you were sick. Buya was asked to give space. El, healthy promise again. We check up, yuk," whispered Efendi.

Silent.

Elea did not respond. He misses Gauri. Very homesick. If allowed to come out, of course, what will be found is Gauri.

Efendi unravels the embrace. "Oh yeah, about Gauri, how far along are you with Kayshan?" tanyakanya.

"There is no special relationship. He's Gauri's uncle who guarantees the boy's needs. Single and I gestured to her, Buya," replied Elea, looking down and choosing to sit on the side of the bed.

"That means you can move on? you leaned on him, Neng?" efendi sat down next to Elea.

No more answers. Elea did not dare to conclude that her feelings were strong for the man.

"Miss!" call Efendi, pat Elea gently on the thigh.

Elea turned to look at her father who was also looking at her. "Yes?"

"If there was a man who you thought was worthy of you, other than Kayshan, how? can Buya apply for nadzor?" ask Efendi.

Wanting her not to nod but somehow Elea's head did the opposite. He's like hypnotized by his father's shady gaze.

"Alhamdulillah. Mom just wants something to get you. While this self can still see all the children are happy with their respective partners. Before the spirit leaves the body, the duties and obligations of Efendi Ghazali have been completed" said the owner of As-Shofa.

"Can't. Buya will live a long life until Buya's grandson marries again later," said Elea re-hugging her father.

Efendi. "Nikah also not, have said grandson .. next week, son Haji Emran from Surabaya want to play here. He was a friend of the first Hajj. Abrisam asked to find a friend, "to be honest, Efendi.

Efendi then grabbed the phone from the pocket of a cocoa shirt and handed a photo to Elea.

"I-this right?"

...***...

In another place, at the same time.

Deeza was talking to Emran so he could share his phone number with Kayshan. The young girl said that Kayshan needed a lot of souvenirs to share with relatives after Umrah later.

"My campus. Mr. Kay sewot, huh? I ngibul he umrah. Ah, Ghazwan tajir. Sacrificing a little, "keyeh Deeza, patted his cheek repeatedly while stomping his feet on the mattress while laughing.
