Mbok Jum carried a tray containing two glasses of orange juice and placed it on the table.

" Thank you mbok" I exclaimed, mbok Jum smiled and then turned back into the house again.

" Who do you live with?" ask Reno

"I myself only accompanied by mbok Jum and Pak Karto her husband. You alone, who's here?" my many.

" I'm also alone, totally alone. No one accompanied me at all. But sometimes my friends come."

" Your family?"

He said it without burden. I don't know, I doubt it. He was either joking or serious. I also relaxed. I do like him but for now, so friends are the best for us.

Me and my complicated life. I don't want to add to the problem with a boyfriend or girlfriend. I still want to enjoy my solitude and my freedom right now.

It was then that we passed by a few young men in front of us. They teased me at first, "Beautiful, all alone? Can you be accompanied?" they were insolent with yamg eyes looking at me bawdy. I shut them down. Stupid timing.

But before long it felt like fear when I saw Reno. Though Reno just silently stared intently at them.

" Devil...!" they shouted at the same time and ran away from us. A commotion ensued when I saw them telling the visitors while pointing at my seat.

I looked at Reno. He just shrugged his shoulders while shaking. " I don't know what they saw either" he said.

I then looked behind me. There's nobody either. Then they were scared to see what? Or see who?"
