Chapter 61. King Long Ying, Bloodlust Axe.

As it was late into the night, the Beast God with his wife had gathered in the restaurant. Currently they were on the third floor, his seat was near the glass window while looking towards the southeast.

In that direction there were flickering fireworks, but they were not fireworks, they were explosions of energy and also explosions of robotic weapons.

The presence of the Elf Race leader attracted the attention of many people. In their minds, they thought the arrival of the leaders was related to the attack from the Giant Race.

During this entire day, the Beast God and his wife had been buying food and medicinal herbs. He and his wife saw the wounded defense minister Han Zixuan, and were replaced by the eastern gate guard general to fight against the Giant Race.

At first the residents were still calm despite being warned by the tower supervisor. However, upon seeing Han Zixuan get injured, many of the residents began to panic by immediately closing their wares, then they left the capital to evacuate.

Since many people were already displaced, the Beast God and his wife no longer needed to help the people. But not all people took refuge because they still believed King Long Ying would be able to defeat the Giant Race.

And, the Beast God and his wife will always be ready to help the people who are in danger when the enemy enters the East Gate.

"The circumstances aren't alright, why isn't King Long Ying mobilizing his entire army to protect the East Gate?" Evilyn was astonished by the attitude of King Long Ying who looked unafraid.

"They should have known, there was no way the Giant Race could break through the first defensive fortress without any support... Strange all the leaders here!" added Angela.

"It may be because of the Bloodlust Axe that made King Long Ying not worry about his enemy" Princess Hua said.

"Bloodlust Axe, what is it?" ask the Beast God who does not know.

"It was a peak 5-star Artifact. Used ...." Dao Li Xia stopped talking when he saw a palace eunuch coming, whereas he wanted to tell the history of Bloodlust Axe.

The Beast God and his wife looked at the hurried-looking eunuch. Then saw the eunuch cupping his hands together as a form of respect.

"Sorry, disturb your comfort! His Majesty the King invited all the tribal leaders. Please, follow the servant!" pinta the palace eunuch with a polite tone.

All the women looked at the Beast God who made the decision to accept King Long Ying's invitation or not. And, the Beast God nodded in response while standing up.

"Lead the way!" the Beast God Pinta slightly surprised the palace eunuch for not recognizing him.

The palace eunuch was known to Dao Li Xia as the Chief of the Tree Tribe, known to Ming Lien-Hua as the Temporary Wind Chieftain, familiar with Bian Fen as the Water Chieftain. He was also unfamiliar with Dao Li Bai due to his physical changes that had become young again.

Without saying much, the palace eunuch led the way and was followed by the Beast God with his wife...

Right now, the Beast God had been in front of the Dragon Palace which became a pride. He saw four dragon statues placed in every corner of the palace. Then he and his wife walked into the palace courtyard which was heavily guarded by Dragon warriors.

When they entered the palace, there were already many officials, nobles who had gathered, their faces looking tense. They saw the arrival of eunuchs followed by the tribal leaders. Crown Prince Long Bowen was also present and always noticed Evilyn's beautiful face, she gathered together with the royal family.

But both of his eyes were focused on the axe weapon placed on the back wall of the throne seat, it was the legendary Bloodlust Axe. The Beast God felt the power of the Bloodlust Axe who was still asleep, but exuded an aura of death.

"Greetings, Your Majesty!" father Li Xia represented all of his entourage.

Except for the Beast God, all of his wives cupped their hands together as a form of homage to a leader, they did not bow because his status could be said to be the same.

King Long Ying nodded in response, but her eyes were fixed on the Beast God who looked disrespectful to him. But, he vaguely felt a powerful aura that oppressed his bloodline as a Dragon.

"Who is he?" inner King Long Ying was curious to never see him, then she was shocked when she saw the command staff of the Tree Tribe that suddenly appeared in the left hand of the Beast God.

After finding out if the command staff of the Tree Tribe was in the hands of the Beast God, King Long Ying and all the officials finally knew the identity of the handsome man.

"Please sit down first!" pinta King Long Ying.

The eunuch directed the Beast God and his wife to the seats of the honored guests, his seat being to the left of the palace ministers.

"I'll talk directly to you about my purpose inviting you. To be honest, I'm too old to fight. Because of my limitations, whoever feels like he can hold and use this Bloodlust Axe behind me, please take it! But as a condition, anyone who can take it must surrender the enemy, protect the royal family and its people!" said King Long Ying while looking at everyone who had been present in the palace.

King Long Ying's statement made a commotion to the person in the palace. Their gloomy faces became radiant as they were given the chance to possess the Bloodlust Axe.

Unfortunately, everyone present did not know of King Long Ying's plan that would mimic the actions of the Dragon Ancestor to protect his kingdom.

Evilyn immediately asked Dao Li Xia about Bloodlust Axe. Dao Li Xia told a brief story in a soft tone, he did not tell the poignant events that made the Elves Nation split apart.

According to historical records, the Bloodlust Axe was the flagship weapon of the Great Master. That time was used when fighting the Undeed Race who had almost mastered the Mysterious Land. After the Undeed Race was defeated and locked up in the eastern region, the Great Master gave the Bloodlust Axe to the Dragon Race's ancestors to protect the Mysterious Land.

Because the time was not right to tell in detail the history of Bloodlust Axe, Dao Li Xia only said if the 5-Star Artifacts were so great, anyone capable of using them would have extraordinary power.

After learning that the Bloodlust Axe was a 5-Star Artifact, it made all the women who had known the Soul World become uninterested, as they knew that her husband had many Star Artifacts, from one-star to 6-star beasts.

"Your Majesty, when did this competition begin?" ask the Minister of Home Affairs.

"Today too. This applies to those of you who are here, and does not apply to outsiders!" replied King Long Ying firmly.

Before the general of the West Gate spoke, King Long Ying continued his reply, "beginning first from the nobles, palace officials, and lastly the leader of the Elf Tribe."

The officials were clearly happy to get the first chance to conquer Bloodlust Axe. Then they saw the six eunuchs of the palace lifting the throne occupied by the king. The throne was shifted so as not to cover the path to approach Bloodlust Axe.

Except for the Beast God, all of his women looked ordinary and were not interested in obtaining the Bloodlust Axe. But it was different from the Beast God, where his heart wanted Bloodlust Axe.
