Chapter 9: The half-monster man
Because of an incident Gu Xing Shan and his two girls decided to sleep in the house of the antique shop owner's grandmother.
Gu Xing Shan and Artemis glanced at each other, Artemis was astonished to see Gu Xing Shan bringing home a beautiful little girl.
Gu Xing Shan was just as her, what happened until Fen Wei sobbed in the corner of the room.
"What's going on?" Gu Xing Shan asked with eyes full of suspicion.
"Your mortal enemy attacked us as soon as he regained consciousness, so I destroyed half of his dantian! Artemis answered in a furious tone.
Gu Xing Shan shuddered in horror, recalling the misfortune that had befallen him a while ago.
"You yourself? whose child did you kidnap?" Artemis squinted her eyes.

Gu Xing Shan suddenly threw the ceramic container where he placed the candle to Fen Wei, but the container was instead greeted by the grandmother of the antique shop owner.

The half-human half-monster race was a mixed race that appeared after the ancient war ended. They were people who ate monster meat in order to survive.
As a result of eating the flesh of monsters their bodies mutated slowly the land, their physiques were human, yet their strength and appetite were like monsters. For Annchi's case he was a descendant of tens of generations after his ancestor who ate monster meat.
"Annchi what is that mark engraved on your chest?" Ask Gu Xing Shan.
"This is my birthmark..." Annchi replied doubtfully.
"It is fitting that he be corrupted by his neighbor." Inner Gu Xing Shan.
Gu Xing Shan discussed with Artemis and An Long about their next actions.
Annchi's house is in Fang's lota. The city was in the middle Jinlian region, the place was further away from the sect of holy maidens and part of the power of the shadow wolf clan.
The Jinlian continent was divided into 5 parts; the north and east were controlled by the Zhao family. The south was ruled by the Wei family. The West is ruled by a nation of monsters left over from ancient wars. The middle part was controlled by a clan of cultivator clans with the Shadow Wolf clan as the largest and strongest clan.
Annchi told me that he came here through the old well.
Hearing that unusual thing Gu Xing Shan became curious and asked Annchi to tell him more.

Artemis and Annchi set out in search of a magical well. The location of the well was in the middle of an elite trading district. The guards are here.
