Guess The Ghosts

Guess The Ghosts

It rained last night.

So thick it lasted until this morning.

Towards 5 am, the rain subsides and becomes a moderate drizzle. But when the air is cold like this, most people will become lazy to move and choose to hide behind the warmth of the blanket.

But as residents who live far from urban areas, there are so many problems that must be faced when the rain hits. One of them is flooding and a roof is leaking.

Red Peacock Housing is an area that is still mined by the past and current progress. Usually, in the rainy season there will be a school consolation notice, whether it is 1-2 days or even at most 1 week announced by RT sir or his errand boyfriends.

But as the rain subsides faster, there may not be such a notice on this day.

*tes... Test.., the sound of water droplets popping. Zaidan faintly opened his eyes and daydreamed. He recalled, actually last night he was busy here and there to catch rain water leaking through the roof of his room. When he remembered that, he quickly got up to get ready to move the bucket. That's the first thing he does after waking up.

He saw the messy state of his room and the wet floor. Sontak Zaidan sighed.

Moments later he realized the existence of 'something' that was leaning on the edge of his mattress, the figure was seen sitting and putting his head on the end of the mattress with a tilted position.

Unexpectedly, the head looked up and glanced at Zaidan as if it knew he was awake.

"Zaidan!"

He stood up overwhelmed and looked at Zaidan with a strange look. Judging from the look on his face and his rigid body movements, there was likely something he wanted to convey.

But before that, there is something to be taken care of first, which is to move the fully filled bucket and clean up the water spill on the floor.

Zaidan just got out of his bed and stepped on the floor that Nina had occupied. With doubt Zaidan greeted him."Good morning... Why is Nina sitting on the floor and not resting?" Zaidan squinted both of his eyes.

"Congratulations.morning... I didn't do what Zaidan said. I don't know how either" Nina replied so naively.

Because half of her life had not been collected, there were not many words she could say to reply to Nina's answer that was beyond human reason. "Hem. I see," Zaidan scratched his head.

'I remember him following me while putting buckets here last night, and after I noticed, Nina always showed a mediocre expression like she wasn't exhausted. So do ghosts never sleep or rest?" he unwittingly forgets the fact that ghosts are not sentient beings who need to eat and drink and as well as rest in order not to die...

But that was not a problem because the next few seconds he forgot the conversation instantly and switched to pick up his things that he had not moved last night.

Zaidan muttered about something, though,

"It turns out that the rain is not as long as last month, I think it will last a long time and keep me cooped up at home all day" he was astonished and happy.

There was actually a time when he wanted the day to always be cloudy and sometimes wanted a day that was always bright as bright as it was, and it depended on how Zaidan was in the mood that day. But a cloudy day will not always be pleasant, because if it rains a heavy lesson can be sent to the home of each student through the local security guard (satpam), the class leader, can be sent to the home of each student through the local security guard (satpam), or it could be the homeroom itself for students to learn at home during non-school. That's the school rule in the area.

If you can be honest, studying at home is very confusing for Zaidan.

And again, Zaidan was a little comfortable in his school despite not having any friends, which is why he didn't mind if it didn't rain though. But not with his mother who always said that the sense of 'comfort' that Zaidan always felt was wrong. And Vivie dared to say also about the rain that would be better for Zaidan, she could teach Zaidan at home well.

If you think about it again, the words of his mother over that day may be true. Nor would Zaidan blame his mother, for surely he understood what was best for Zaidan more than anyone else in the world.

......*greps.........

"Zaidan, Zaidan's mother called" he told Zaidan.

"Eh?"

"O-oh yeah! Zaidan get there!" sahut Zaidan, answering Vivie's call that was not heard clearly.

Quickly Zaidan put the item taken earlier on the table and ran out of the room to get to where the mother was.

Surprisingly, Vivie was not in the kitchen or the room that became the headquarters of the woman's residence every morning before Zaidan went to school. After tracing the entire house and flipping through to make sure that he was not wrong, Zaidan accidentally saw two silhouettes of women in one of the unfamiliar rooms. And the foreign room was Kesti's room which was close to the kitchen. "Mother..?" call Zaidan from outside the room.

"Zidan's? that you?"

"Ahh, it's good that you're awake. Moma couldn't sleep last night because of this leaky roof, can you move this bucket out here?" Vivie's orders.

Zaidan was happy to carry it out.

Moving the buckets is easy, but trying not to make the contents of the bucket not spill is the main problem. A few minutes later Zaidan was finally able to stretch his hands after moving all the buckets, including the one in his room.

'This has happened many times, but the pagans always make my heart weak.' Sweat drenched all over his forehead.

At least this has been the 3rd time Zaidan has done this activity, maybe the Momanya will handle it in the future, so as long as Zaidan only needs to obey every order obediently.

"Mother, Zaidan wants to take a shower, does the bathroom want you to use?" he said.

"No. Take a shower" Vivie replied from a distance.

Without thinking long Zaidan immediately walked to take the uniform that was in the clothesline behind the house and went back in to immediately take a shower. Before taking off his clothes, Zaidan still had time to look around because he was afraid that Nina would come in and be there like yesterday. He was so embarrassed to remember the incident.

"Well, I went to school first"

After wearing his shoes properly, he immediately stood up straight looking at his mother so deeply. Not a single word came out of his lips, for a moment he questioned where the voice was hidden. The boy's gaze went to the hand of the woman before him who had given birth and cared for him all this time.

The hand trembled as if enduring the pain that looked flushed on his skin. The boy grabbed it gently.

"It is true that I was the son of that man, and perhaps his nature had declined to me. But if your skin is always like this, I won't hesitate to hit it" said the boy.

"You misunderstood, Spell. Mama's hand is only exposed to hot water because it's not careful, you don't have to worry" he tried to explain it so that the child did not misunderstand what happened. But even so, the child still did not give a calm gaze, indirectly all the words that the woman had spoken were considered boring lies.

*tock. Geck. Geck!

The two men simultaneously turned towards the door. The knock of the door that had been heard was then followed by a familiar man's voice, making the two suspect that it was a 'citizen', not a guest.

"You want to go to school, right??, be careful when going to school, i-it... The road is still very slippery outside.." the woman suddenly behaved strangely, like, he seemed to feel panicked and because he could not control his panic, his voice became irregular. The boy had intended to say goodbye and greet his mother's hand because he began to feel bored with the constant voice of the man outside the door. A second the back of the palm touched his forehead, suddenly the entire lamp went out and made the two confused.

"What's going on?"

The whole house turned dark.
