Geck, tok... Geck, tok....

The atmosphere was silent, neither Zaidan nor Nina dared to speak. They stared until the sound coming from outside stopped.

"It was Zaidan's friend back then" Nina whispered to Zaidan.

'Friends?'

Zaidan looked at Nina in astonishment. He wondered how she knew, and the door was closed from the beginning.

Although he could approach and see firsthand who was outside, but he did not want to do so. It was fear that made him choose to stay seated.

"Hello... Who's out there?"

The unlocked door moves in. When it was open, there was a loud sound of students who were resting. Along with that a man appeared from behind the door carrying a black bag, a bag that looked familiar to Zaidan. If he's not wrong, it's his bag.

In a slow motion, he closed the door so that Zaidan would not be bothered by the situation outside.

"Hello too.. I'm sorry I came in all of a sudden" he said hello and approached.

"No problem. Is there something you want to talk about?"

Zaidan glanced at the bag that Eja was holding. As if you know, Eja immediately thrust the bag with a wide smile. But to Zaidan, that kind of behavior looks unusual.

"Bu Laras told you to go home because you heard your condition is not good. I'm here to give you your bag and want to see you. Is the heat still going on?" He placed the bag next to Zaidan with the intention of wanting to talk longer before Zaidan actually came home.

"I think the heat is down... Oh, ja. Thank you for delivering my bag, I'm actually fine if I continue the next hour"

Zaidan convinced Eja as he had done to the teacher earlier.

"Where can it be, Zaidan. You still have to go home. Even if you continue, your condition will get worse," he forced.

Zaidan jerks. It is undeniable that he actually knew who Spell was in the view of the surrounding people, from the beginning also Zaidan knew if he was a child that everyone knew at school. Zaidan would naturally be very suspicious if such a person suddenly tried to get close to him. Over and over again, it was very difficult to believe him.

However, unlike yesterday who looked relaxed, at this time the man looked as if he wanted to tell something that could not be immediately said.

And this time Zaidan tried to say something that would interest him.

"I'm already okay. Than that... Can't we talk about yesterday in detail? It just so happened that Eja's uncle was in my house this morning, and he said that Eja was his niece" Zaidan said that it was as slow as possible so that his words sounded clear and not tongue-tied from nervousness.

This was the first time he brought up the matter, and a reaction was received by him.

"My uncle...?" his eyebrows furrowed as if in disbelief.

"I don't know if my uncle is going to your house, did he tell me about his problems at home like I told you?"

At first Zaidan still could not believe that the man was the uncle of the man now in front of him. But after hearing a confession directly from him, it meant no more wrong.

"No... He just gave me some money. I can give it back to you, if you want"

"What?" He sighed, "Why did I take the money that was given to you? Keep it. My uncle does like to give other people extra pocket money for no reason, it's a common thing for adults to do so, don't be confused why he gave it all of a sudden"

"Other if he asks you to do something."

Zaidan nodded in understanding. But he still did not forget by whom his bracelet was taken. Money 20 thousand exchanged cloth bracelets... That doesn't make any sense.

Zaidan will also reject it from the beginning if the Kesti gift bracelet will be exchanged for 20 thousand dollars. According to him, there is no advantage, because there will make Kesti disappointed.

...

There were only three of them in the room. Unlike Zaidan, Eja could not see Nina who was to the left of Zaidan. Continuing to dwell within the awkwardness, the three of them suddenly felt something change. The stench crossed Zaidan's and Spell's sense of smell and stung even more like the carcass of a dead mouse.

Zaidan said yes while searching for the source of the smell.

Somehow, Zaidan suddenly gained the courage to walk up and approach a door that was not completely shut. It was possible that the smell would come out if he opened the door wide, he thought.

Shush...

When pulling the doorknob, a sweep of wind from outside hit him who was at high temperature. He could really feel it until it shivered. But... Was the school yard this simple?

Zaidan was stunned, all he saw were empty buildings, plants and courtyards. It's strange because some time ago the noise still sounded so clear. Once you realize there is something strange, Eja immediately joined to see the outside situation.

"Here's in the next hour?"

Of course he said so. It's totally illogical if everyone disappears and no sound is heard even the slightest 'in just an instant. But, on the other hand Eja immediately answered him with high confidence without a doubt.

"Where possible! It's just a break"

The feeling of the innocent-looking young man was not good. He stepped his foot out from Eja who was a step behind him. His two pupils moved everywhere and looked for signs of someone around the school building, but not a single person was caught by his sight.

"How is it possible... Am I hallucinating?" The more he thought, his mind became flogged.

"... No. gabe... Zaidan is not hallucinating. Lately I've also been plagued by something invisible that's in this school other than the one at home. I don't know what it is, but, just now I was walking towards this direction. All the classes seemed empty, the state of this school was like a school that had been forgotten for years. Zaidan can't possibly ignore this, right?"

Spij really focused his attention on Zaidan.

"I don't know how to stop this state of affairs, but in this 'place' we can chat in satisfaction. So let's follow me, maybe we'll find something," she tried to pull Zaidan's wrist to get him somewhere.

Spij looks very excited, and believe it or not with the current suspicious circumstances... Zaidan must keep watch, the natural form is to carry his bag stored Keris in it. Right, Zaidan has prepared it for urgent circumstances. No one broke the rules because Zaidan yesterday allowed Kesti to take him.

"wait. Then let me bring my bag"

A moment of silence, Eja then agreed. Looking at him who had no problem with it, he definitely had no idea what was really inside the bag.

.

Passing through the hallway of the school, Zaidan and Eja observed every empty room. As they looked at each other, a sense of awkwardness approached the two. Even so, they are still consistent to walk aimlessly.

"... Does Eja know my grandmother?" Suddenly Zaidan brought the topic. It was immediately welcomed by Eja.

"Well... You could say so" he rubbed his nape.

Zaidan did not know whether to be happy or unhappy when he found out, but the unconvinced answer reinforced the suspicion of Spija. He just didn't like the strange nature of the man.

"You want to go upstairs?"

He pointed at the stairs leading up.

"Anything.." said Zaidan did not want to take a headache.

"Don't be like that... How am I supposed to know what you think you're just saying 'What' like that?" he's not moving. Waiting for the answer he wanted to hear.

Truly, the man named Spell was very, very upsetting in Zaidan's eyes. After taking a long breath... Zaidan. Not because of his own volition, but because of the compulsion under the guise of 'Agreement' which Spell said.

"YES." he said with emphasis.
