Because of her sense of curiosity with Adila's story about her father, this morning Alea rushed to go secretly to see her father, with her between Nia. He wanted to make sure, if what Adila said, everything was true.
The road to his father's house was quite far. He had to travel 2 hours before he finally reached a village, which is densely populated.
Alea had to park his car in front of a big road, because his father's house had to go into a small alley.
Wearing a jacket, and a hat, as well as sunglasses, Alea and Nia walked down the small alley. He did not want to be seen by his father.
"That's mom's house." Nia pointed at the very end of the house, with green paint. The house is very small and narrow. Even smaller than his old house.
Not long after, a woman came out of the house. The woman who was none other than, Alea's stepmother. His clothes were neat, he went with his youngest son on a motorcycle.
Alea was forced to go into a stall, so that her stepmother would not see her inside.
"Some ma'am." Nia said after her stepmother left.
And now, Mila is out too. Looks like he's going to go find work again. Because of his wear that wears a white shirt, as well as black trousers. Unlike her stepmother, Mila went on foot. Their economic situation is also very difficult.
"It looks like he's going to go looking for work again ma'am." whispered Mila as she continued to look at Mila, who was walking hurriedly.
"Who's looking for mba?"
The voice of a woman, made Alea and Nia look in shock. The owner of the shop came out of his house.
"Ah, I want to buy this ma'am." Said Nia who originally pointed at small children's snacks.
"A thousand and one seed." Answer the mother.
Nia just nodded slowly, then took out a hundred thousand dollars. While Alea still continued to stare towards her father's house.
"Neng knows the same house?" Ask the shop owner's mother to Alea.
"Ti.ti.ti.ti..dak bu." Alea replied nervously.
"Kasian knows, his wife likes to wander, but her husband is a maid. At best it's out again, father." Say the mother.
Alea and Nia looked at each other. It seems that this woman can indeed be asked about her father's family.
"Mom, can I sit inside?" ask Nia.
"Boleh neng. Come on in." replied the middle-aged woman politely.
Nia and Alea then went inside the stall. As a clever assistant, without being asked by Alea, Nia immediately inquired about Alea's father's daily life.
And their conjecture is right, as Adila said, if Alea's father has been suffering. After he was no longer working, Mila's mother always did rough things, and did not even care about Alea's father at all.
Hearing this woman's story, Alea's heart ached. How could his father survive and prefer a woman like this, compared to his mother, who obviously loved him very much.
"That's out." Said the mother, then pointed at Alea's father who had just walked out of the house.
With a broomstick, his father immediately cleaned the yard.
Alea stared from a distance. He could not hold back his tears. The middle-aged man, who was supposed to rest, was instead hired like this.
"Attack again, his wife came home. Keep bringing his friends in." Obviously the shop owner's mother.
"It's like that, ma'am?" Ask Nia.
Alea's eyes continued to look at her father who was sweeping the front yard of her house.
There was a moment of regret, having already done something like yesterday. Here, he saw his father suffering.
......................
After an hour or so of seeing her father from a distance, Alea's stepmother returns home. It turned out to be true, her stepmother came home with her friends.
Not wanting the shopkeeper's mother to know, if she was Alea, she asked Nia, to give money to her father, through the shopkeeper's mother. With reason, the money was a gift from the shopkeeper's mother.
"It's a lot of neng." Said the shopkeeper's mother.
"Call mom, it's for mom." Answer Nia. He gave two envelopes to the shopkeeper's mother. And after leaving, the two rushed home.
But there was still one place Alea should visit. It was her grandmother's house, her father's birth mother. There, he wanted to ask what happened to his father.
Fortunately, Adila gave the address, father and grandmother. So that he does not have to bother looking for an address.
And Alea's grandmother's house is still an old house. The place where Alea was born. A house that never changes at all.
The house looked quiet, there was no sign of anyone inside.
"Do I need to go with Mom?" nia asked after they reached her grandmother's house.
"Neither to Nia. I'm alone." replied Alea, then rushed down from her car.
With a shaky step, he walked over to his grandmother's house.
"Excuse me." Alea said and knocked on the door of the house.
"Yes who?" A woman replied from inside the house. Not long after, the door of the house opened.
Her grandmother looked shocked as she saw Alea standing in the doorway.
"What are you doing?" ask her grandmother in a loud voice.
Without answering her grandmother's question, Alea went straight into the house. The atmosphere inside the house was still the same. Alea seemed to be reminded of her mass story.
"It turns out this house is still the same. Nothing has changed." Alea said then sat down on the sofa that already looked dirty and ugly.
"You go Lea! Don't let me kick you out with ka..."
"Just be an officer. Lea came here, just want to tell you, if the grandmother's son, made a maid with his own wife." said Alea while looking at her Grandmother.
Inevitably, her grandmother ended up sitting on a single sofa, and sat down before Alea.
"You can't just say, Intan couldn't have done that to your father. She's not your mother!" replied grandma Alea.
It was fortunate that Alea had recorded a video as her father swept through the courtyard of the house. Alea gave her phone to her grandmother.
His face was shocked when he saw the video on Alea's phone. Apparently all this time, Alea's grandmother did not know, if her father was treated like this.
"Grandmother, Alea hates both grandma and dad. But Alea didn't want to, if Alea's father was treated like this the same woman who had ruined Alea's life.At least, grandma had to help grandma's child, take her home granny."
