After a secret night inside the temple, Li Mei felt the energy of the universe still flowing through her. He feels excited and ready to embark on his new, unknown journey. That day, he stepped out of the restroom where he was reading cultivation books, and he knew that he had to expose himself to his temple teacher, Dao Ming.
Dao Ming was a wise monk who had cared for Li Mei since she was a baby. She was the only family known to Li Mei, and she knew that she had to talk to that teacher before embarking on the journey. In her mind, Li Mei knew that this was a difficult breakup, but she was sure that this was a step she had to take.
He encountered Dao Ming in the beautiful temple courtyard, where old trees waved gently with their leaves, and the morning sun emitted a warm glow. Dao Ming sat under a large fir tree, his wise eyes looking at him affectionately as Li Mei approached.
"Dao Ming Master, I have come to speak with you," Li Mei said respectfully.
Dao Ming smiled gently. "Ah, Li Mei, I know that this day is coming. Sit down."
Li Mei sat in front of that teacher and felt a deep longing for the person who had been taking care of her all this time. "Teacher, I have found an ancient cultivation book. I feel like this is a calling for me. I want to embark on a journey to master the power contained in the book."
Dao Ming nodded, not surprised by Li Mei's confession. "I know that you will reach this moment. The book was a secret that had long been locked inside this temple. But, you also know that the cultivation journey is fraught with dangers. The power you seek can be a gift or a curse."
Li Mei nodded seriously. "I know, Teacher. I am ready to face it. I want to find out the truth about my missing family."
Dao Ming looked at Li Mei attentively. "You are a special child, Li Mei. And I'm sure you have incredible potential. But this journey will be difficult, and you must never forget the lessons I've taught you so far. Harmony with nature is the key to achieving enlightenment. Never forget that."
Dao Ming got up from his seat and walked up to Li Mei. She placed her hand on Li Mei's head and said affectionately, "You are the daughter that I never had. You will achieve great things in your life. Be strong, Li Mei."
Their eyes met in a moment of deep intimacy, and then Dao Ming raised his hand from Li Mei's head. He then gave her a travel bag containing some basic supplies, including food, clothing, and self-defense tools.
"I've already prepared this for you," Dao Ming said. "Now, go and find the truth you seek. I'm always here if you need help or advice."
Li Mei felt a cry rustling in her eyes, but she held back her emotions. He knew that this was a step he had to take. He hugged the teacher tightly and said, "Thank you, Teacher. I'll miss you."
The two of them spent a few moments in silence, contemplating the impending farewell. Then, with steady steps, Li Mei left the temple that had been her home for many years, embarking on a journey that would lead her to a truth full of mystery.
