First battle

Ever since Li Mei left the temple, her journey had taken her further into the increasingly dense forest. The leaves of the tree covered the sky above it, creating a kind of shade in the soft darkness. But the darkness of this forest also contained unexpected mysteries and dangers.

Li Mei stepped carefully between the towering roots of the tree and the slippery rocks. He felt as if this forest had its own strength, as a natural inhabitant watching over him. The forest was silent, except for the sounds of nature such as the whistling forest animals and the hissing leaves.

As the sun began to duck in the sky, Li Mei decided to stop and build a simple campground. He felt the need to take a short break and prepare himself for the coming night. Deftly, he made a small campfire and prepared food from the supplies he brought.

As she sits in front of the campfire, she contemplates this journey and her decision to go in search of the truth about her missing family. He felt that he was getting closer to an answer, but also increasingly knew that this secret would test all of his abilities and determination.

Suddenly, the sound of delicate footsteps emerged from within the forest. Li Mei squinted her eyes and immediately prepared. A man emerged from behind the trees, dressed in all-black clothes with an unknown emblem on his chest. He had sharp eyes and a cold face.

"Who are you?" li Mei asked in a firm voice, her hands ready to take the weapon that was beside her.

The man smiled faintly. "I am Zhang Wei, a cultivator looking for something in this forest. Are you also a cultivator?"

Li Mei watched the man carefully. He knew that meeting in the forest could be dangerous, and he had to be careful. "Yes, I am a cultivator on the way. But I don't know what you're looking for here."

Zhang Wei nodded. "I'm looking for an ancient artifact that is said to be hidden in this forest. This artifact has incredible strength and is extremely valuable."

Li Mei considered Zhang Wei's words. He felt that there was something unusual about this man, and he felt his heart pounding with a gentle warning. However, he also knew that he could not avoid fighting if this man was a threat.

The battle began. Li Mei and Zhang Wei faced each other, both of them using their cultivation skills. Zhang Wei possessed incredible strength and deadly sword skills, while Li Mei relied on her natural cultivation and quick dexterity.

The attacks and blockages happened quickly, and the leaves and twigs of the forest flew as their battles shook the realms. Zhang Wei was a formidable opponent, but Li Mei would not give up so easily. After a fierce battle that lasted for a while, Li Mei was able to outwit Zhang Wei and launch a deadly counterattack. He aimed natural energy at his sword and swung it at an incredible speed, hitting the man fiercely.

Zhang Wei staggered back a few steps before finally falling to the ground with a gasping breath. He looked at Li Mei with a gaze full of admiration before losing consciousness.

Li Mei looked at the man carefully, still ready to act if she tried to do something dangerous. However, Zhang Wei seemed to be helpless. He was relieved that he had managed to protect himself in this battle.

He approached Zhang Wei's helpless body and looked for signs of life. He felt his breathing was weak and clean, and he knew that he had to make a decision about what to do next.
