Heaven Road

Heaven Road
Of happiness? (Prologue)

My steps are not always fast, but at every step I always have a meaning that I can get.

My steps are not always great, but my steps are always strong.

My steps are never certain, but I always try to never stop.

My steps are not always long, but I always try to always spread happiness.

Ah... The happiness... Yep... The happiness...

One word but so hard to describe. Happiness comes from the word happiness. Happiness is an adjective that will always have different meanings for every individual in the world.

Happy for me, not necessarily happy for you, happy for you, not necessarily happy for me. Happiness is too relative, so it's so hard to set happy standards for everyone.

That's just the word happy, while for happiness itself? Happiness is more complicated to explain. Because happiness is not just a happy word added prefix and ending. The two words are almost the same, but the meaning contained is much different levels.

It is so difficult to reach a point called happiness, because happiness is not necessarily happiness. Happiness may be interpreted as the highest point in a sense of happiness.

"Why? Isn't it just a matter of adding a prefix and ending to the word happy?"

For you guys it might be, but for me. Happiness is not just like that. Happiness does not occur without an external factor. Whether it's another person, or an existing environment. You could say there will never be happiness if we are alone without anything around us.

That is why happiness cannot be obtained so easily.

"Then how do you get happiness?"

That kind of question sounds funny when asked. Because the only one who knows the point of happiness is the person. Again I say. Happiness cannot be equal. So many styles and factors from inside and out that make the point of happiness will always be different positions.

A homeless person for example, he might feel happiness if he has a lot of money. But wealthy merchants are certainly not enough just to have a lot of money to get happiness.

It is only a depiction if happiness is viewed in terms of property. Unfortunately...

Happiness cannot be measured by just that. There are so many depictions in this world that can show happiness is not just a treasure.

Yet... Is it enough to get to the point of their happiness? I guess not...

The point of happiness will always be in front of us. No matter how much happiness we feel today, that happiness will surely be consumed by the flow of time. And that happiness turns into something called good memories. Another point of happiness is waiting for us to get in the future.

"Doesn't that explain if we can never feel happiness forever?"

It could be yes, it could not be.

Styles and factors from inside and out are so influential. The outside factor is what is around us. Couples, friends, environment, wealth and everything else, while the factors from within are what we have in ourselves, our thoughts and feelings.

And of those two factors, the factor from within I think is what is most influential to reach a point called happiness.

"Why?"

Because these two things are what determine the point of happiness of a person. The broad mind certainly has broad insight, broad insight will widen the view. And the wider the view, the more points of happiness we want to achieve.

The deeper we feel, the more we love or feel like we want to have something. The greater our sense of getting a point of happiness that is in front of us.

And unfortunately... Not all points of happiness will always be achieved. There are times when we must be willing to feel sadness for our inability to reach the point of happiness in front of us. Even though we have tried our hardest, we have devoted all our time. Sometimes the point of happiness does not come to us.

"Why? Wouldn't all that effort and time be in vain?"

Expectations. That's the answer to the first question. The combination of thoughts, feelings and factors from the outside produces an expectation point of ourselves. And most of those expectation points will be the benchmark for the happiness point we want to get. That causes expectations to be directly proportional to happiness levels.

The higher our expectations, the higher the point of happiness we want to get. And it provokes the greater the level we feel sadness will fail to reach the point of happiness.

And for the second question. I disagree if even if we fail, everything we do is free...

I am Yin Sheng, have seen so many things in this world. Bitter, sweet, sour, bitter life emblazoned on the eyes. Even things that didn't happen in my life, I've seen them. Everything I saw taught me a lot.

And from all that I learned, even in the sorrow of our failures. We can still feel a point of happiness if we want to lower our self-expectations, and accept the circumstances around us as they are.
