Earth 23 – Efforts to Make Friends
After doing telepathy that feels like a long-distance phone call using a microchip embedded in the ear, Calvin Adam goes on a journey to the home of two people whom Mom Delia says are friends who care about him.
Entering the block in question, Calvin Adam saw a very significant difference compared to the block where he lived. The difference in the complex order of the house, ornament is installed on the side of the road and certainly the size of each house is very much different from the Calvin Adam house that at a glance like cardboard boxes that are arranged lined up if observed from a distance.
The splendor of the building radiates on the block, there is no uniformity of every building that exists to make a pleasant diverse scenery with the same characteristics in every building that is luxurious, large, and beautiful, it has a garden gazebo at the front of the house.
The magnificent terracotta house looks striking among other homes that prefer soft and soft colors. Calvin Adam walked over and stopped in front of the mansion without realizing that there were two pairs of eyes staring at him from the gazebo of the flower-filled garden opposite the dotted Oscar house.
“What are you looking for man?” ask a young man behind Calvin Adam.

“I looked for Oscar,” Calvin Adam replied and turned to observe the house before him, ignoring the young man who asked.
Who felt neglected ruffled his hair and looked at his girlfriend who was still waiting in the gazebo, “what are you looking for Oscar for? Do you want to make a scene with him?”
Calvin Adam looked at the young man before him and speculated whether the young man was Oscar, glancing back at the young man looked a girl sitting on a gazebo staring at the two of them.
Behind the gazebo where the girl is located looks a blend of marigold plants, rosemary, dandelion which is very familiar to Calvin Adam. “Is the girl Lydia?” ask Calvin Adam in his heart.
The hand of the youth patting Calvin Adam on the shoulder made him realize that there were still questions he had to answer, “Do I look like a person who likes to make a fuss?”
The young man in front of him laughed, “As if you've forgotten what you're like, man. Stop your chandelier, why are you looking for me?” answer Oscar who is impatient to see Calvin Adam behaving innocently without sin.
Highlight the unfriendly eyes of Oscar and Lydia who remained in his place did not give a warm welcome like a friend. The atmosphere of the friendship was very different unlike that described by Mom Delia if the three of them were close friends.

“Lydia.“ whispered Calvin Adam slowly but still heard by Oscar.
Oscar's sharp look at his lucky college classmate can get a full scholarship with his watered-down brain and always manage to escape trouble. Oscar is grateful that Calvin Adam is a naughty and heartless young man who has never openly played lips with his girlfriend in front of Lydia who the day before expressed his love.
Calvin Adam who was about to walk towards Lydia was suddenly pulled back because of his t-shirt collar, “Don't try to seduce Lydia, the girl is already my lover.”
Oscar's speech was only listened to as he went by Calvin Adam who took off Oscar's hand on his t-shirt and walked in to the gazebo with Lydia and was followed by Oscar.
The existence of Oscar and Calvin Adam did not stop Lydia's activity making a presentation of the task on her notebook.
“Do I bother you?” calvin Adam politely asked Oscar and Lydia watched the child of their housekeeper closely.
Lydia immediately grabbed the infrared thermometer from inside the bag and pointed it at Calvin Adam's forehead.
“36.6 C, she's healthy Osc..”.
“I also feel like there is a problem with him Lyd. Is it possible that the incident at the bar damaged his nerves to become Calvin Adam who looks too different in front of us?”
Feeling openly talked about as if he were a fool who would not understand the conversation in front of him, Calvin Adam decided to explain in a way that he believed was best,

Not yet finished the sentence spoken, Oscar and Lydia appeared astonished faces and even Oscar who had been holding back his curiosity tried to pull the face of Calvin Adam who looked more radiant and full of majesty.
“Aaaawwwww,” cried Calvin Adam as Oscar pulled his face.
“What are you doing Osc? Do you think the same as me?” Lydia and Oscar exchanged glances and Oscar nodded,
“I hope he is a stranger who wears Calvin Adam.” badung mask
Almost out of the way for Calvin Adam to start communication and explore the details of his college life through Oscar and Lydia until finally Calvin Adam nudged Oscar and Lydia quite hard and before the two retaliated Calvin Adam already he held Oscar and Lydia's hands together.
“Listen to me, can we be friends?? From now on if I was a bad friend, from now on I will be a good friend. And if you are still in doubt on my sincerity ask Mom Delia. It seems like the gods punished me and I feel amnesia since this morning wake up.”.
The two prospective doctors before him seemed difficult to believe the words of Calvin Adam.
Finally Lydia broke the silence after seeing the seriousness of Calvin Adam's eyes,
“Do you need to do a CT Scan? It seems that you are having serious brain problems.”
Calvin Adam shook his head, “No need because it seems like this is Mom Delia's prayer and yours for me to be a good boy.”
Oscar looks at Lydia who still sees Calvin Adam intensely, Oscar's hand releases Calvin Adam's grip on Lydia fearing that her lover will experience old love reuniting.
Unwelcome, Calvin Adam took a bottle of soda water in the middle of their vertical until the toilet needed liquid to wet the esophagus that was already dry because of walking, sunbathing, and soaking, and give an explanation to the two people who are expected to soon make him start his mission on Earth 23.
