Chapter 26 A Little Attention

As usual, Shenna, Ken, and Naufal were having breakfast together. Naufal was so very attentive to his brother-in-law that made Ken a little annoyed to his sister.

Meanwhile, at the restaurant, as usual, Jenny arrived early in the morning and Gian was sitting in front of the restaurant with a look like he was daydreaming.

Jenny's restaurant is open at 8am, and Jenny likes to come early to open her restaurant and check the ingredients so as not to be lazy.

Jenny immediately opened her restaurant and Gian entered.

"Gian, why do you always come early? it's only 7 o'clock, and the restaurant just opened at 8, so your business hours are still an hour away" Jenny exclaimed.

"But you're the Chef here, cleaning restaurants isn't part of your job."

"Yes, from now on apart from being a Chef, you will double as my assistant so, now you can help me check the ingredients in the kitchen," said Jenny.

Jenny immediately went to the kitchen, as well as Gian after changing clothes with his Chef uniform, Gian also helped Jenny check food ingredients.

Jenny is focused on checking her big fridge, and Gian is standing behind Jenny, noticing, but Jenny has no idea that Gian is behind her back, so when Jenny turns her body around, he hit the chest of Gian's field and almost fell if Gian did not hold it.

"I'll make some fried rice for Mom."

Gian went back to work, Jenny saw that the fried rice was too much and Jenny took another plate and split the fried rice in half.

"Gian, let's have breakfast together."

"Ah, no ma'am, I've had breakfast at home."

"Don't lie, I know you haven't had breakfast. Don't argue much or I fire you right now" Jenny threatened.

Gian was shocked, forced to sit in front of Jenny and began to devour his own fried rice.

It is true that Gian has not had breakfast at all, every day he only prepares breakfast for his Grandma while he, never breakfast at all. Gian is more concerned with his Grandmother than himself, it's okay he's hungry as long as not his Grandmother is hungry.

Again Jenny showed her smile, somehow Jenny was really interested in this simple handsome man in front of her when there were so many men who approached Jenny but nothing made her curious like Gian.
